There's nothing good enough that they can do for any one strategy to be the definitive way to play the deck. Personally I like ending on Atlas+Fly and Sting+Papillion+Sting the Poison which is... 2 monster negates, a pseudo-towers and several pieces of followup for next turn. Also sometimes a searched Maxx C or Sting Lancer in hand.
You summon a gigantic spider and kill them with it usually, if they stop your spider you summon Winda: Moth Edition instead. Brickiness be damned, it's better than all-extenders-no-boss versions.

HardLeg used to make really good videos where he showcased different decks with a "fun" approach (that series was called What a Deck!). He abandoned that series for MasterDuel and now streams more, his videos have very low effort put into them and the deck he does make videos on are always made to be as competitive as possible.

John Konami here, you're right. Here's the new ruling: Link monsters can go into defense mode, but their defense is a non-existent value. Because of this, they can't prevent direct attacks. Also, because you can't flip summon link monsters, they stay on your field forever. Thank you for playing Master Duel.
I've been having a good time with Mikanko. Beat someone that had 4 negates + calamity locked me the other day with them, felt ace. Also usually do pretty decent against snake-eyes.

What's a good deck to just farm gems with? Something that abuses the hell out of the best of 1 format, I ain't looking to win tourneys with this.
I know Numerons was the braindead of old, but I'm sure they've fallen out of power by now.
Post yours and I'll give you some tips, I don't have my list handy.
Some generic advice though
Don't run Lithograph/Toon World, they fricking suck
Actually run stuff that can pop your lucky punch like Twister (MST with a LP cost) or Fairy Wind (deals extra damage as a bonus). These also can help do the pop cards daily.
Throw in your Solemn Judgement from the bundle if you have it, if not then you can swap in something like Dinomorphia Shell.
UA Signing Deal or whatever it's called at 3, with a dreadnought or two to go with it
Malevolent Mech is good too
Zombie Mammoth if you keep failing to draw Kozaky
Use your Popperup first to max the LP damage
Only use Destruction of Destiny if at least half your deck is S/T
Remember you can get the ED/SS daily done too if you put some generic links in the ED like LANphorhynchus and Clara and Rushka
Relay Soul is in the Legacy Pack
And then yeah Garbage Lord, Giant Kozaky, Lucky Punch, etc.
Kozaky to 3. You want to see him in your opening hand.
Remove the Lithographs. They fricking suck.
Old Mind is slow and inefficient, I personally would not run it.
Lightning Storm is ass here, you do not care if they have interrupts, you are trying to have a nice day.
MST can be replaced with Twister, as the card you are popping is just Lucky Punch, which will be faceup when popped and it costs 500 LP to do, further lowering it.
Abyssal Designator is painfully slow. The purpose of a suicide deck is to have a nice day QUICKLY, if you just wanted to hit yourself for 1000 you would use Toon World instead (don't use Toon World btw it sucks). Designator is only for bots that want to stall.
Again, if you have Relay Soul from a legacy pack, put it in. Prioritize summoning Kozaky or Zombie Mammoth
Speaking of which, you can put in Zombie Mammoth, but it does take your normal. I also run a third Mech.
Use a few more cards that can halve your LP, like Solemn Judgement.
Run some generic links in the ED, you can sometimes do that daily with LANphorynchus and Clara/Rushka like I mentioned earlier.
I'm going to see if I can remember anything else when I can check. I sometimes run over 40 cards for dailies and it works just as well.

baronne is still way too generic
she also need to be nerfed even harder so that she can only use 1 effect per turn or has to actually discard cards to use her effects
Baronne was designed for a deck that uses a LIGHT Synchron as the primary base for it.
Most of the monsters are LIGHT and DARK, with only the mounts that the knights are riding being WIND monsters.
The main reason it was a generic was not because it was just amazing for everything, but because the deck it was supposed to go in was a complete clusterfrick soup of types and attributes without even a name to tie it all together, because it was designed for a french anime girl whose most important role was to proposition the player for sex in one of the tag force games.

I enjoy playing my petdeck because even aginst meta, there is no bad matchup. You always have the outs in deck somewhere, even if you don't always draw them.
I've been playing the same deck aginst full-power Tears, Sprights, Runick, Purrely Kash Mathmech and now Snake-Eyes. I have roughly the same win rate (50%), which is damn good for non-meta.

It's not a shitdeck. It's one of the best going 2nd decks.
You're supposed to Lava Golem them, then return it to your hand with Grand Duke dealing 3k burn+boosting him to 5k attack. Then maybe do it again because it's not once per turn.
Anyway, the OTK build is kinda just bad. Go first with non-stun Vaylantz instead, and try to do the OTK strats when forced to go second.
Okay I'm starting to see why people hate Maxx C. I bricked going first so I passed and was able to make a comeback because I had roach. That was fun. It was fricking BULLSHIT but fun.

The Maxx was actively preventing me from making a better board going first. If a frick-you deck can still go full combo and not be hindered like that, it's always the deck.

It's extremely bricky if you don't go full pileslop, and even then it's still bricky. It's also prone to collateral damage hits since it plays a lot of banlist bait. Union Carrier and Terraforming were not the first (Summon Sorceress was), and they will certainly not be the last as Apollousa and I:P bans are on the horizon. You have no plays under Maxx C and Dimension Shifter while many hands lose to Droll. Every combo has at least one hard chokepoint, so you instantly lose without adventure engine if your opponent has a handtrap and any matchup experience whatsoever unless you were lucky enough to draw a playable hand that doesn't require the Unauthorized Reactivation you also drew. Unauthorization is an amazing "Frick you" card, but it's sadly unsearchable.
Say you didn't brick and dodged disruption. You knocked Nibiru back into orbit because that's what the deck does best. You're ready to unleash an omni or two, a monster negate, a banish, and whatever you want from I:P thanks to ABC's second effect. The end board looks really strong......until you realize it has no back row and its grind game is shut down by tribute removal, droplet, Called by the Grave, and Super Poly. Super Poly in particular flatout ends the game by itself. On a typical end board of ABC, I:P, Regulus, and Crystal Wing, Super Poly into Dragostapelia brings you from 4-7 intruptions all the way down to 1.
I can beat tiered decks with Abyss actors and, sometimes, pure odd-eyes. You're just admitting you don't know shit about pendulums, the greatest summoning mechanic of all time.

Shinra just say that it summon one monster from backrow, and pend ruling is tad iffy but make them as valid target.
On similar boat, putting monsters on pend zone don't make them active because they aren't pend cards, this is why snake eyes or anything else can block pend zones.

If you're going to run this awful deck, at least use Predaplanning over Predaplanet. It's one of the best things Predaplants have going for this event since it fricks over Synchro/Xyz decks. Also you don't even have Byplisp, and I don't care if you're lacking SR, add Ambulomelides.
And cut out the awful cards and bump the good cards to 3x instead of running everything at 2 for no reason.
Look, this was just a Nouvelles deck that was using Starving Venoms as extra deck fodder. I wanted to just mess with adding more Predaplants. Thanks for the advice, but I might just go back to pure Nouvelles with some extra fusion support

Maybe if the player is bad. Kitkallos can search or send, and searching a trap is often as good or better than sending Tearkash. They can also send a Mermaid to guarantee a fusion, like say if they wanna go into Winda.
Searching Scheiren can also be good if you already have Reino on board as you can make several Rank 4s like Time Thief, Dweller or Bagoozka, all of which have a purpose.
Additionally, if you're playing Rev Syncron you get tons of plays with Level 7 Syncros like Black Rose, Ancient Fairy, and Shooting Stardust.
Just cause you're bad at piloting the deck and only know how to braindead send TearKash every time rather than think critically doesn't mean the deck is linear.
The only issue in fact is that the deck only has 2 fusions now, which severely limits the options available to you. But that's moreso to do with Merrli being banned limiting flexibility, more than anything else. Kitkallos is still an extremely versatile card.

They are. Because they only net deck what they see other people do, and follow braindead linear combos rather than try to understand the deck and build it according to their preferences. You can't call Tear linear if all you do is copy a list off the internet and proceed to follow a flowchart every duel. The deck isn't linear, YOU are linear. By far the best prediction for the next pack and SD. Konami has hinted that pendulums are coming along with an event that will heavily incentivize playing them. We have two pendulum archetypes from AGOV and Valiant Smashers. We have a popular, but also expensive archetype from the anime that's getting a new wave of support that isn't quite meta. The pack and SD should really be a no brainer.
Fire Kangz is an SD between AGOV and PHNI. Horus will probably be treated as a Phantom Nightmare archetype since their boss monster is from that set. We're done with splitting the support in half.

Last decks I messed around with irl were dm and cyber dragons. In duel links I recall playing with masked heroes, magnet warriors, fur hire, cyber dragons, and a desperado barrel dragon deck.
Not unless you have gems with nothing to use them on. It hurts to craft a 3 of but in the long run you'll be better off not spending gems on a pack that has low odds of giving you good URs.
Using your gems more efficiently means you'll need to craft less in the long run.

There's nothing good enough that they can do for any one strategy to be the definitive way to play the deck. Personally I like ending on Atlas+Fly and Sting+Papillion+Sting the Poison which is... 2 monster negates, a pseudo-towers and several pieces of followup for next turn. Also sometimes a searched Maxx C or Sting Lancer in hand.
You summon a gigantic spider and kill them with it usually, if they stop your spider you summon Winda: Moth Edition instead. Brickiness be damned, it's better than all-extenders-no-boss versions.

John Konami here, you're right. Here's the new ruling: Link monsters can go into defense mode, but their defense is a non-existent value. Because of this, they can't prevent direct attacks. Don't run Lithograph/Toon World, they fricking suck
Actually run stuff that can pop your lucky punch like Twister (MST with a LP cost) or Fairy Wind (deals extra damage as a bonus). These also can help do the pop cards daily.
Throw in your Solemn Judgement from the bundle if you have it, if not then you can swap in something like Dinomorphia Shell.
UA Signing Deal or whatever it's called at 3, with a dreadnought or two to go with it
Malevolent Mech is good too
Zombie Mammoth if you keep failing to draw Kozaky
Use your Popperup first to max the LP damage
Only use Destruction of Destiny if at least half your deck is S/T
Remember you can get the ED/SS daily done too if you put some generic links in the ED like LANphorhynchus and Clara and Rushka
Relay Soul is in the Legacy Pack
And then yeah Garbage Lord, Giant Kozaky, Lucky Punch, etc.

Lightning Storm is ass here, you do not care if they have interrupts, you are trying to have a nice day.
MST can be replaced with Twister, as the card you are popping is just Lucky Punch, which will be faceup when popped and it costs 500 LP to do, further lowering it.
Abyssal Designator is painfully slow. The purpose of a suicide deck is to have a nice day QUICKLY, if you just wanted to hit yourself for 1000 you would use Toon World instead (don't use Toon World btw it sucks). Designator is only for bots that want to stall.
Again, if you have Relay Soul from a legacy pack, put it in. Prioritize summoning Kozaky or Zombie Mammoth

Baronne was designed for a deck that uses a LIGHT Synchron as the primary base for it.
Most of the monsters are LIGHT and DARK, with only the mounts that the knights are riding being WIND monsters.
The main reason it was a generic was not because it was just amazing for everything, but because the deck it was supposed to go in was a complete clusterfrick soup of types and attributes without even a name to tie it all together, because it was designed for a french anime girl whose most important role was to proposition the player for sex in one of the tag force games.

I enjoy playing my petdeck because even aginst meta, there is no bad matchup. You always have the outs in deck somewhere, even if you don't always draw them.
I've been playing the same deck aginst full-power Tears, Sprights, Runick, Purrely Kash Mathmech and now Snake-Eyes. I have roughly the same win rate (50%), which is damn good for non-meta.

You're supposed to Lava Golem them, then return it to your hand with Grand Duke dealing 3k burn+boosting him to 5k attack. Then maybe do it again because it's not once per turn.
Anyway, the OTK build is kinda just bad. Go first with non-stun Vaylantz instead, and try to do the OTK strats when forced to go second.

I went first against Rescue Ace Snake-Eyes and ended up with half-assed board and a Maxx "C" and Allure of Darkness in hand.
I normal summoned the Maxx to make Elf, then got lucky on the shotgunned Allure.
The Maxx was actively preventing me from making a better board going first. If a frick-you deck can still go full combo and not be hindered like that, it's always the deck.

It's extremely bricky if you don't go full pileslop, and even then it's still bricky. It's also prone to collateral damage hits since it plays a lot of banlist bait. Union Carrier and Terraforming were not the first (Summon Sorceress was), and they will certainly not be the last as Apollousa and I:P bans are on the horizon. You have no plays under Maxx C and Dimension Shifter while many hands lose to Droll. Every combo has at least one hard chokepoint, so you instantly lose without adventure engine if your opponent has a handtrap and any matchup experience whatsoever unless you were lucky enough to draw a playable hand that doesn't require the Unauthorized Reactivation you also drew. Unauthorization is an amazing "Frick you" card, but it's sadly unsearchable.
Say you didn't brick and dodged disruption. You knocked Nibiru back into orbit because that's what the deck does best. You're ready to unleash an omni or two, a monster negate, a banish, and whatever you want from I:P thanks to ABC's second effect. The end board looks really strong......until you realize it has no back row and its grind game is shut down by tribute removal, droplet, Called by the Grave, and Super Poly. Super Poly in particular flatout ends the game by itself. On a typical end board of ABC, I:P, Regulus, and Crystal Wing, Super Poly into Dragostapelia brings you from 4-7 intruptions all the way down to 1.

If you're going to run this awful deck, at least use Predaplanning over Predaplanet. It's one of the best things Predaplants have going for this event since it fricks over Synchro/Xyz decks. Also you don't even have Byplisp, and I don't care if you're lacking SR, add Ambulomelides.
And cut out the awful cards and bump the good cards to 3x instead of running everything at 2 for no reason.

Tear Dragonmaid is straight up just gambling, theres no overlap on their engines other than tidying, while bystials make the deck pretty consistent.

Tear is linear now. It's normal reino. make kit, dump tear kash. summon tear kash, maybe make rulkallos and maybe make baronne. Alternatively you have special Scheiren, whiff, die.
Maybe if the player is bad. Kitkallos can search or send, and searching a trap is often as good or better than sending Tearkash. They can also send a Mermaid to guarantee a fusion, like say if they wanna go into Winda.
Searching Scheiren can also be good if you already have Reino on board as you can make several Rank 4s like Time Thief, Dweller or Bagoozka, all of which have a purpose.
Additionally, if you're playing Rev Syncron you get tons of plays with Level 7 Syncros like Black Rose, Ancient Fairy, and Shooting Stardust.
Just cause you're bad at piloting the deck and only know how to braindead send TearKash every time rather than think critically doesn't mean the deck is linear.
The only issue in fact is that the deck only has 2 fusions now, which severely limits the options available to you. But that's moreso to do with Merrli being banned limiting flexibility, more than anything else. Kitkallos is still an extremely versatile card.

Tear is easily one of if not THE MOST nonlinear flexible deck in the game.
If following the same flowchart in every duel leads to results, the deck IS linear. You can do meme plays with any deck but it'd be a lot less effective without a broken basis it's all built on.

By far the best prediction for the next pack and SD. Konami has hinted that pendulums are coming along with an event that will heavily incentivize playing them. We have two pendulum archetypes from AGOV and Valiant Smashers. We have a popular, but also expensive archetype from the anime that's getting a new wave of support that isn't quite meta. The pack and SD should really be a no brainer.
Problem is playerbase being too peabrained about pends.
Even on events that had full power pend decks like chronicles people played EVERYTHING else but those decks.
Besides, first batch of valmonica suck dick, and current support don't fix that much.
