Every format hit Wind-Up by banning Carrier. In fact that happened before there was a banlist split at all. The TCG just didn't give enough of a shit to flip the ban with Hunter.
Effect isn't even once per turn, if you can recycle it you're making your opponent discard his entire hand, and that's something wind-ups are very good at
people will just play 3 roach AND 3 copies of jellyfish in the same deck. You can activate both in the same turn and you can ever use 2 jellyfish on the same turn, for a total of 3 draws per summon.

Anyway, they're clearly making more Multichummy cards that will likely draw off of other sorts of summons, and you'll be able to use them to draw into each other. No shit it's worse than Maxx C. That's literally the point of the card.
It'll probably be a side deck card given how it's bad going first and you'd need to choose the right Chummy to counter your opponent's deck unless one is really good vs all meta decks. We'll have to wait and see what happens with them, and also how that translates to MD where side deck cards aren't an option.

There's a period after it becomes banned where dismantling it will give 20 additional cp on top of the usual 10. If you miss that period and dismantle it later you get cucked and only get the usual 10.
Chaos Ruler is not a 3x that is ran in every deck. A good amount of people had 1 chaos ruler, very few people had 3. Comparatively everyone above like silver has 3x maxx cs.

Originally I had 2 super poly in the main, but I found super poly to be dead a lot becuse most decks are monotype with different attributes. When Garura resolved it was against non-meta like Blackwing, Sky Striker and Exosister.
I lowered the Super Poly to 1 in the main, but if I drop Garura I can run Dharc and Verte.
Is it me or Lab has a bad matchup against Chimera? Untargetable Guardian Chimera blowing up your backrow is kind of strong and they can dodge interruptions on anything else with Chimera Fusion.
Every deck is kinda bad compared to the metas we've had over the last year. And that will continue. There's no deck that will come out for at least a year that's better than Snake Eye, and compared to some previous metas Snake Eye really isn't that impressive.
It tends to brick, but if you have the right attributes in hand, it can do a lot. So many potential options per turn. And madlove's nontargeting bounce is quite a lifesaver sometimes.
It will probably be corruption that reveals Lovely turns her latest infatuations into immortal servants. Then she'll be given a Vampire revival release and Labyrinth as an archetype will be neutered by the seething Konami employees that kept passive aggressively hitting the archetype
She'll have Labrynth in her name but only as something like "Labrynth Conquering Lackadaisical Lady Knight" and it'll definitely be support for the archetype.
Something like Diabellze where she is both a support card for Lab but also does something if the opponent has a Lab card on GY/Field would work pretty well.

heavenly was only used because traptrix had zero support and no backrow protection. infact, it was ONLY used for backrow protection but with arachnocampa you can now get easy searchable protection through the traptrix engine and you no longer need a big body either because of atypus.
The best option would be to stop worrying about backrow sweepers because they become less common as you climb. Also to cut down on some of the trap holes. You don't need 3 Gravedigger, Network, Time Space, or Void Trap Hole. The more of those you run the more vulnerable you are to Duster.
You can bump Arachnocampa to 3 since it's a good draw, and ending turn with an extra in hand means you get to laugh as they waste their Duster.
You should really add Parallel Exceed. It's the best card in the deck. Also you're missing Called by the Grave.

Dumbfrick, Nephen is actually searchable and sumonable for one thing, synergizes with garden, and can at least go into sera and not brick if it gets negated by imperm. With exceed you have to HOPE you draw it and HOPE it doesnt get negated.

There's already some special summon from hand cards printed in the same set as Min C and the strongest deck in the format already does it twice with Poplar and Diabellstar, if anything they are going to print more of these type of cards.

Its also fundamentally impossible to make a brand new deck as theres very few generic engine cards that are any good, all the good engine cards are locked in their archetypes.

I'm coming around on this engine. Between the double normal summon and being able to discard your garnets, it's probably the best choice for MD. You don't get to send Fiendish Rhino, but it's way better into maxx c.

Outside that that could have been an ash veiler imperm whatever and helped you out more without risking the drawing gamble.
Because you're moronic, and it's not a buff to going first. It's a Maxx C that only works going second. Going first now loses Maxx C for good, and going second has format dependent options. Going first now HAS to run Ash. Going second will go harder on running board breakers like Super Poly, etc... over hand traps (barring Imperm cause it's not OPT and also good going second).
Maxx C is the number 1 most played card in the OCG and Master Duel, yet:

KOJ doesn't like Maxx C and they don't recognize it as part of the game, they only kept it around for so long because they were too scared to ban it. It's not marketable, it's not fun, it's not interesting. They must regret not having the foresight that KOA had to ban it early, which is quite ironic as it was likely designed by KOA.
Thankfully, someone finally stepped in and decided to do something about it by making the Chum cards to replace it. Now it's just a matter of time until the bug is wiped off the face of the game in every format.
Maxx C was good when the game was not focused so much on special summoning. There was absolutely no reason why it wasn't banned when the game shifted to a SS heavy format, like how tons of other old cards were banned. It boggles the mind.
You can see it in the way they design many modern decks. They have been trying to shove into the meta loads of decks that play "well" into Maxx C, like Branded, Tear, Lab, Runick, Purrely, Kash, Floo, VS, the new Fire King stuff, Chimera etc. They have been trying to kick Maxx "C" out of the game by making it into a bad card into many decks. However, they failed to realize just how powerful the card actually is. Getting 2 draws off a Branded Fusion resolution is STILL VERY GOOD. Holding Maxx "C" for the time when the Lab player starts to commit and getting 2-3 draws off it is STILL VERY GOOD. People are not going to stop playing the card unless every deck turns into literally Floo. After so much time of total roach dominance, they probably had enough.
Problem got worse with ultra compact engines, modern decks can afford ton of space to run handtrap out of wazoo and almost never brick, with roach they can keep firing disruption and get quicker kills.
Worlds turned into such an alien format after this TCG banlist that OCG players will inevitably get completely destroyed at Worlds this year again. TCG players have a gigantic advantage.

It also makes going 2nd worse in general because modern combo decks do not die to your 1 Ash, and now you have nothing to stop them dropping it to make breaking their board impossible.
Modern decks have far less negate than before, they trade negatefest over recovery and toolboxing.
Brandon, Diabelle, fire kangz, all have tools to keep going extra turns over and over, but well placed boardbreaker keep them in check and lack of roach mean they get even less recover.

Anyway, they're clearly making more Multichummy cards that will likely draw off of other sorts of summons, and you'll be able to use them to draw into each other. No shit it's worse than Maxx C. That's literally the point of the card.
It'll probably be a side deck card given how it's bad going first and you'd need to choose the right Chummy to counter your opponent's deck unless one is really good vs all meta decks. We'll have to wait and see what happens with them, and also how that translates to MD where side deck cards aren't an option.

Is it me or Lab has a bad matchup against Chimera? Untargetable Guardian Chimera blowing up your backrow is kind of strong and they can dodge interruptions on anything else with Chimera Fusion.

Every deck is kinda bad compared to the metas we've had over the last year. And that will continue. There's no deck that will come out for at least a year that's better than Snake Eye, and compared to some previous metas Snake Eye really isn't that impressive.
It tends to brick, but if you have the right attributes in hand, it can do a lot. So many potential options per turn. And madlove's nontargeting bounce is quite a lifesaver sometimes.

The favored card these days is Evenly. Cards like Duster fell off during Runick and Tear formats and they've never really come back.
heavenly was only used because traptrix had zero support and no backrow protection. infact, it was ONLY used for backrow protection but with arachnocampa you can now get easy searchable protection through the traptrix engine and you no longer need a big body either because of atypus.

The best option would be to stop worrying about backrow sweepers because they become less common as you climb. Also to cut down on some of the trap holes. You don't need 3 Gravedigger, Network, Time Space, or Void Trap Hole. The more of those you run the more vulnerable you are to Duster.
You can bump Arachnocampa to 3 since it's a good draw, and ending turn with an extra in hand means you get to laugh as they waste their Duster.
You should really add Parallel Exceed. It's the best card in the deck. Also you're missing Called by the Grave.

The downside is that could have been a real handtrap in your hand and the two cards you drew are just extenders so you did nothing. The downside is also if you lose the dice roll or coinflip. It’s seems like a side deck card. It’s only good if a certain handtrap you really really want to draw like nibiru or droll. Outside that that could have been an ash veiler imperm whatever and helped you out more without risking the drawing gamble.
Most decks these days can easily play through one hand trap.

KOJ doesn't like Maxx C and they don't recognize it as part of the game, they only kept it around for so long because they were too scared to ban it. It's not marketable, it's not fun, it's not interesting. They must regret not having the foresight that KOA had to ban it early, which is quite ironic as it was likely designed by KOA.
Thankfully, someone finally stepped in and decided to do something about it by making the Chum cards to replace it. Now it's just a matter of time until the bug is wiped off the face of the game in every format.
Maxx C was good when the game was not focused so much on special summoning. There was absolutely no reason why it wasn't banned when the game shifted to a SS heavy format, like how tons of other old cards were banned. It boggles the mind.
I need to remind you that Vanity's was legal in the OCG for so long that it managed to slip into the first few months of MD. They are not very smart.
The Chum cards are to Maxx C, what the various Pot cards (Prosp, Desires, etc...) are to PoG.

You can see it in the way they design many modern decks. They have been trying to shove into the meta loads of decks that play "well" into Maxx C, like Branded, Tear, Lab, Runick, Purrely, Kash, Floo, VS, the new Fire King stuff, Chimera etc. They have been trying to kick Maxx "C" out of the game by making it into a bad card into many decks. However, they failed to realize just how powerful the card actually is. Getting 2 draws off a Branded Fusion resolution is STILL VERY GOOD. Holding Maxx "C" for the time when the Lab player starts to commit and getting 2-3 draws off it is STILL VERY GOOD. People are not going to stop playing the card unless every deck turns into literally Floo. After so much time of total roach dominance, they probably had enough.
Problem got worse with ultra compact engines, modern decks can afford ton of space to run handtrap out of wazoo and almost never brick, with roach they can keep firing disruption and get quicker kills.
Yeah, and by comparison, the 2nd most played card, gets an alt art and brand recognition

People keep saying the other chummies will be other Maxx C type effects but I think it’s going to be balanced versions of other handtraps. Then they limit/ban all the handtraps so you’re forced to run the chummies but you can only activate two each turn. This is how they’re going to “fix” the handtrap spam problem.

Bellze is 1 card in larger series and White Woods only has a single Illusion synchro.
In terms of a deck actually built around Illusions, Chimera is still all that exists.

Modern decks have far less negate than before, they trade negatefest over recovery and toolboxing.
Brandon, Diabelle, fire kangz, all have tools to keep going extra turns over and over, but well placed boardbreaker keep them in check and lack of roach mean they get even less recover.
