I know that I don't fight my own team, I'm saying XYZ is surprisingly much lower given how much personal success I've had in the event thus far. But to be fair I am playing Purrely/Snake-Eye/Ghostrick so it is a UR heavy deck. But getting to assemble two Noirs, DracoFuture and Black Witch turn 1 is too fun to pass up.

resonator t1 board was good even before dis pater and the actual support, it's basically more interactive stardust but can still get fricked by bystials if the opponent knows what they're doing
Kashtira was hit even further for the sins of Baronne, a card that should have been banned from this event. Exorsister, and Zoodiac are solid, but nobody built them. Xyz Dinosaurs and Shark/Kragen are great, but are expensive to build.
Exosisters works fine and I've been playing around with the Mikanko Armored XYZ deck in Master but Purrely is obviously the best XYZ archetype by far, Kash doesn't really count because you are better off splashing their cards on decks like Snake-Eyes.

My point was that the Therions were all tailored to generic support for their respective type. Yul is a perfect extender levelwise for PUNK, Fum can work in pre-support Icejade because they lack gas, Ain is a FIRE Warrior easy body, Regulus is a negate for EARTH Machine to insulate the train kill, etc.
Branded's fuse from deck slop is cringe but Dogmatika's gimmick of sending Extra Deck cards to the GY is a pretty good concept and fun to play with, too bad Dogmatika is pretty much dead lore-wise.
Dogmatika apparently still exists as a combined nation with the tri-brigades without TARDimus at the helm so the support outlook isn’t totally hopeless for either technically
I do and I also know that they're trash without monk. I'd play like one Ashuna/Shthana for Taia and Circle but it would be pretty moronic to fill your deck with a bunch of cope token producers then expect decent results.
I’m so glad Fallen of Albaz had a unique effect for both for lore and gameplay reason and isn’t just summon itself, then search a card, then ploos when it hits the GY like so many other lore decks.

Make Epurrely Noir and Beauty if the draws are good, attach as many sleepy and delicious as possible. Draw draw flip leap draw draw frick your opponent with handtraps and spins while cranking it to Purrely's thighs.

What purrely is one of the most fun decks in the game. And attacking multi times with happiness is the most dopamine inducing thing in this game.
Historically the lack of quick effects have always been Madolche's Achilles's heel. Every single time they received new support it felt like they were so close of being meta, yet they fell short because of this fatal flaw.
Ironically now that Konami finally decided to fix this, they do in a new wave of support that has no new combo starters, so Madolche will fall short again, but this time it will be mostly because their capacity of playing around disruption is so outdated.

My point was that the Therions were all tailored to generic support for their respective type. Yul is a perfect extender levelwise for PUNK, Fum can work in pre-support Icejade because they lack gas, Ain is a FIRE Warrior easy body, Regulus is a negate for EARTH Machine to insulate the train kill, etc.
Branded's fuse from deck slop is cringe but Dogmatika's gimmick of sending Extra Deck cards to the GY is a pretty good concept and fun to play with, too bad Dogmatika is pretty much dead lore-wise.

Fusion is probably the most dishonest summoning mechanism relative to how it was originally designed, but I feel like there's an honesty in its dishonesty because no one can really expect a deck to use 3 specific cards from hand/field to summon.
