If it's turn 3 then you have Rivalry set and are getting to activate Ohime again. And probably Arabesque again. It'd be extremely rare to not have an OTK if you set up turn 1 as Mikanko and the opponent passes.
Harvester and any of the machina lvl8s that can special summon themselves, Regulus too if you have a train to use it instead of him. If you have clockwork night up you can feed it mats with Goliath and the Infinitrack searcher

At the time it was banned and on paper, it's a busted ass card. But in the TCG, Electrumite is banned and there's a lot of Pendulum hate commonly sided.
This card would be legit cancer in MD because people do run Pendulums, do go first, Electrumite is legal and Droll isn't commonly main decked.
Adding a bounce to a negateslop field hardly matters. You either drew the out and shit doesn't matter or you don't get to play at that point. Pends in general kind of suck these days anyway with how vulnerable to hand traps they are so it's not like they can reliably build any sort of field.

I remember reading this card when I was trying to learn the game for MD and thinking "Tribute your opponent's monster? That can't be right. How can you tribute a card that isn't yours?" Then finding out yes, you can in fact just say "frick you, my card now" to your opponent and being blown away by this.

You can return Lava Golem to your hand with the fusion. You can use Aktos to swap Duke and Hojo. Field spells mean you're immune to Evenly. People will scoop because they assume you're on the Pachy stun build.
It's a fun way to play the board by moving cards like a board game, but by themselves they suffer from the same issues of all pendulums, long combos with a ok-ish end board. Sadly people use as tools for floodgates since they are so easy to special summon everything and use normal summons on the worst cards
Trains, or machina, you can use harvester plus the level 8 machina guy or regulus to make 2 level 10s. Revolving switchyard would also make it easier. Basically just try to wait to use dozer, like when you want to play ruinforce. Also you could you baronne if you're feeling cheeky, urgent schedule on turn 2 grabs magical hound and metalcruncher.
Its expensive for a beginner and the deck is quite garbage right now since all generic tools like chaos ruler that supported mill decks have been banned
It's not good but extremely cheap with three copies of the 500 gem structure and a single UR craft of Doomking.
Vendread is a little more expensive but edgkino and can fit into zombie sloppa. Skull Servant OTK isn't edgy but you get big numbers. Mayakashi is lesbian getting seduced into releasing sealed demons, not super edgy.

What is cubic's endgame exactly? He summoned some 3000atk thing but it didn't do much. He was mostly just turning his guys invulnerable by banishing cards.
I guess I blindly stopped him from doing that, now that I'm looking at Cubic's cards I can see what he was up to. But my blind firing of negates and stuff stopped him.
Summon crimson nova, use cubic karma to drop 3 seeds and boost big boys attack to 5400, use cubic wave to make it 10,800, attack twice and burn for 3k. Pot of extravagance nerf crippled the deck. Got to tier 19 in DC during Tear 0 times due to them sending all my cubic cards to the graveyard.
Eglen. Also if the game stretches on past turn 4 don't be intimidated by their 8 card hand. There's a real chance that their deck is out of birds and they have 3 Eglen+Robina rotting in their hand unable to be activated.
The best target to hit is Empen's search, unless you are playing a Link deck you can still get all your effects through in defense
The reason to hit Empen is Floo is it cucks Advent, Floo is unlikely to use Advent on Empen after resolving both Robina and Eglen because how are they going to have any Tribute summon on the field? They Normal Toccan and Stri and do what exactly? Even if they add Map, they're out of effects to use.
In all cases of where you can Ash/Imperm/Veiler, if they hard open a response form hand you're kind of cucked. Not the case if you hit Empen

empen is not HOPT and if you see nip floo player, they prefer to proc empen twice by using advent on empen

You banish Empen, add Tocan, add back Empen then Normal Summon what? Robina? Then their board is either 2 birds, Map or Dreaming Town pass, which is better than Empen + Dreaming Town pass.
If they have Advent in hand, targeting effects will not work, so picking the worst target for them is the best option. Then you can always Ash the Advent even if Empen resolves, and really cuck the board.
Hitting the birds is like imperm on Mo-Ye, it can stop a bricked floo player who opens handtraps (bad for you) but is easy to punish with extenders

It's still Yugioh. Master Duel is the online client they made a couple years ago. It's free to play and fairly generous with its in-game currency, especially when you first start out.

It's actually extremely free to play friendly. I haven't spent a single penny and I've gotten to the highest rank every season.
Though the game itself isn't very new player friendly because that's what decades of power creep without set rotation does to a card game.
You can get the best deck in the game for free in a few hours of playing if you really wanted. Then you could by playing like half an hour every other day get enough free currency to get a new deck every month meaning you'd be able to keep up with anything new released or just try out other decks.
The game makes profit purely on people who spend ridiculous sums on getting the very rare shiny holographic versions of cards.
Paleos have shit card economy compared to lab, and you can't target/destroy lady and lovely makes their traps counter traps. I can't see how the duel could be enjoyable unless the lab player is trying to lose on purpose
Lab is the hardest matchup for Paleo because Lady chainblocks you from all of your Paleo.
Paleo if they open Grass/Reasoning can win against Labrynth though by spamming Rollback from the GY.
yeah the chainblocking is the hardest part tbh, that and if they try to hit you with the eradicator virus. If you get a decent reasoning or open grass its doable but still not easy.

Isn't the console UI for these sorts of cards absolutely awful? I've had people play out their turn then surrender when this was activated, and their timers weren't low either.
If they don't read what the card does, they won't understand they have to type in "gunkan" and pick one of the main deck suship monsters that isn't the rice or the red rice. So they probably surrender because they don't know what to do lol
The UI being only a textbox and not a "choose between these cards" is intentional for this card specifically, because irl the opponenent has to be able to name the exact card to be added to your hand. Otherwise they have no choice but to look at the Xyz card you revealed and pick the one listed there.
Remember to include at least one gunkan Xyz in your extra deck. Otherwise you won't be able to activate the effect

It's not an omni-negate, the negate is a trigger effect on summon so if you chain it to a spell the trap monster will summon, the spell will resolve and THEN the trap monster will trigger to negate something. It's basically impossible to negate anything that isn't a monster or a continuous spell/trap.

This card is not as good as you think it is because it happens on a separate chain unlike Eldlich traps, which means you can't just chain this to a normal spell to negate it. I labbed a few extensive D-Link combos that can reliably summon this beautiful bastard by using Rainbow Dark Dragon and Dragunity Arma Gram while also setting up some stuff via the Bystials and Dis Pater, the combo can even sometimes summon that one Rainbow Dragon fusion that can shuffle all cards on the field into the deck via a quick effect as a last FRICK YOU to the opponent in case everything goes wrong, hopefully they don't ban Savage in MD like the homosexuals in the TCG did, because I'm gonna lose my fricking mind if they do that.

If it's turn 3 then you have Rivalry set and are getting to activate Ohime again. And probably Arabesque again. It'd be extremely rare to not have an OTK if you set up turn 1 as Mikanko and the opponent passes.

You can summon him the normal way during your turn since verte+meteorburst combo exist but his field wipe is just more suited during opponents turn
The proper way to summon him is convoluted as shit and payoff rarely worth since is just a giant beater outside of board nuke, unless you do some meme ass OTK involving scale and draws.
Trap let him nuke board or be negated during opponent turn to act as floodgate, which is far better.

You can return Lava Golem to your hand with the fusion. You can use Aktos to swap Duke and Hojo. Field spells mean you're immune to Evenly. People will scoop because they assume you're on the Pachy stun build.
Budget Dracoslayers. Dracoslayers are absurdly expensive but can search Blackvalley/Secret Village and don't lock you into anything.
It's a fun way to play the board by moving cards like a board game, but by themselves they suffer from the same issues of all pendulums, long combos with a ok-ish end board. Sadly people use as tools for floodgates since they are so easy to special summon everything and use normal summons on the worst cards

Trains, or machina, you can use harvester plus the level 8 machina guy or regulus to make 2 level 10s. Revolving switchyard would also make it easier. Basically just try to wait to use dozer, like when you want to play ruinforce. Also you could you baronne if you're feeling cheeky, urgent schedule on turn 2 grabs magical hound and metalcruncher.

I guess I blindly stopped him from doing that, now that I'm looking at Cubic's cards I can see what he was up to. But my blind firing of negates and stuff stopped him.
Summon crimson nova, use cubic karma to drop 3 seeds and boost big boys attack to 5400, use cubic wave to make it 10,800, attack twice and burn for 3k. Pot of extravagance nerf crippled the deck. Got to tier 19 in DC during Tear 0 times due to them sending all my cubic cards to the graveyard.

You banish Empen, add Tocan, add back Empen then Normal Summon what? Robina? Then their board is either 2 birds, Map or Dreaming Town pass, which is better than Empen + Dreaming Town pass.
If they have Advent in hand, targeting effects will not work, so picking the worst target for them is the best option. Then you can always Ash the Advent even if Empen resolves, and really cuck the board.
Hitting the birds is like imperm on Mo-Ye, it can stop a bricked floo player who opens handtraps (bad for you) but is easy to punish with extenders

It's actually extremely free to play friendly. I haven't spent a single penny and I've gotten to the highest rank every season.
Though the game itself isn't very new player friendly because that's what decades of power creep without set rotation does to a card game.

Isn't the console UI for these sorts of cards absolutely awful? I've had people play out their turn then surrender when this was activated, and their timers weren't low either.
If they don't read what the card does, they won't understand they have to type in "gunkan" and pick one of the main deck suship monsters that isn't the rice or the red rice. So they probably surrender because they don't know what to do lol
The UI being only a textbox and not a "choose between these cards" is intentional for this card specifically, because irl the opponenent has to be able to name the exact card to be added to your hand. Otherwise they have no choice but to look at the Xyz card you revealed and pick the one listed there.

It's not an omni-negate, the negate is a trigger effect on summon so if you chain it to a spell the trap monster will summon, the spell will resolve and THEN the trap monster will trigger to negate something. It's basically impossible to negate anything that isn't a monster or a continuous spell/trap.
This card is not as good as you think it is because it happens on a separate chain unlike Eldlich traps, which means you can't just chain this to a normal spell to negate it. And if you want to negate an on summon monster effect you have to chain this to an effect that summon the monster you want to negate.
