The only reason Luke had to step in for Yuga was because Yuga was too exhausted to keep going. Yuga had everything he needed to win. It was the combo that Luke used. Plus, Yuga did beat every major antagonist in the show during their respective arcs. And he also beat Luke in the end. And he never needed a naked floating fairy to tell him what to do. He was never advertised as the strongest duelist in the world, but he was never outright pathetic and moronic like Yuma.

The initial flood of gems for a new account is more than enough to build a few long lasting decks, and even ignoring dailies you get thousands of gems every time there's a festival.

The archetype is pretty good in terms of rogue decks, you just need some higher investment. You should also be using Heavenly Spheres and Striker Dragon at 2, Darkness Metal Dragon is also a really good extender, so you can add one or two Black Metal Dragon to search for it since is very easy to send the card to the GY by either using it as link or fusion material. You should eventually get enough UR dust to invest in the usual handtraps.

You will. You actually get a lot of gems for free in this game. Dragonmaid was a good choice for a first deck, though. It's not bad at all and the structure deck makes it super cheap to build.
The secondary effect doesn't trigger until it hits the graveyard. Inperm is a good way to stop it from blowing itself up, but you have to deal with its GY effect with a different card
Yu-Gi-Oh has this stupid rule that those conditions no longer apply once a card leaves the field. Even though it's totally illogical and not written on the card at all. The game is designed by morons.

Yu-Gi-Oh is probably the worst at this shit. In MtG, pet decks can still be played against metagays. So you can leave Arena for months, even years, come back, and your deck will still work, and get you wins for free stuff.
You leave Yu-Gi-Oh for ONE SET, and the meta has changed so much, that not even a former meta deck is even able to be played anymore.

There are two variants of Rose Tenyi auroradon combo line that makes generally stronger boards.
The one using the Adventurer safety net (and some board breaking for second turn) which involves making Baronne early with either Vishuda or Griffon.
-This one ends with Savage + Baronne + VFD (can preserve Borreload ATK with Basal shoot, making Black Garden unneccesary)
The other combo line doesn't have adventure engine onboard but have a stronger droplet proof board (Baronne+Arc Light+Savage+VFD) And can go into Accesscode turn 3 for cleanup).

You want him to come out on your opponents turn so you can use him to interrupt their plays. Best way is to have him in your hand and use libero Spiker or Midfielder to get either him or another ua card like blockbacker on the field.

Winda is a pretty fair floodgate. Super predictable and also decks that rely on Fusion and main deck (especially summons that do not start a chain) give no fricks about her. Tear is going to be pretty fricked up but that's not Winda's fault.

I can't find a deck I actually enjoy playing. Everything that sounds cool and interesting turns out to just be an underpowered gimmick deck when I actually try it out. I feel like the only way to play this game is with your standard hyper aggressive combo deck. Why is it that combo decks have more monster effects that act as control than actual control decks that are limited by traps?
Spell Speed 2 negate and banish anything that has to resolve in the graveyard is pretty good my man, it's not just good against meta stuff it's universally good, don't even have to use it for the negate part if you just want to banish a key card for their combo

That's just straight up not true. Gamma is at 3 in TCG and will frick you up. People do play Crossout also, it's not just an anti-Maxx C card. TTT is more common than on MD, too to punish handtraps. But there is truth that handtraps are more powerful overall, as it should be. MD is bullshit because the best decks just say frick your handtraps and combo off. There's also less conventional options in TCG like Sales Ban to deal with handtraps which aren't out here yet in MD. MD has convinced me Called should be straight up banned in TCG.
ghost ogre is the best way to interact with continuous and field spells. most hand traps can't deal with them outside of stuff like psy-framegear delta
Getting rid of a key piece of your opponent's combo is always good, Ogre can also destroy Map which is the card that allows Floo to play during your turn.
Continuous cards like Cont. Spells, Cont. Traps, and Field Spells need to stay on the field in order to resolve their effect
Destroying them outright stops them
Also Ogre can use her effect while on the field so things an E. Tele can bring her out realiably since shes Psychic
Destroying Halq leaves them with a tuner on the board that can't activate its effects.
Negating Halq leaves them with a Link-2 on the board that can transform into something like a Desert Locusts, discard a card from your hand, and then quick synchro on your turn for another piece of interaction.

Nobody plays it anymore due to the win buff giving 500 compared to 50 for a loss. You have to lose 10 times to equal the points of a single win, just not worth it. Seems like they are extremely salty that so many people ruined the first event with it.

They get over 3k pretty easily and your card stays negated off field of it's destroyed by that guy. It's not the best deck but they can win with some straightforward plays. If your deck can't recur and spam beaters out then a well built war rock deck probably beats your deck at least a few times out of 10

I think this deck is really cool but maxwell c. turk shuts it down hard, you pay LP to do anything, if you don't draw into a field spell or a level 4 you DIE, has no space for hand traps or staples and you aren't allowed to even sniff the extra deck.

You're trying to add way too many handtraps yet you only add one copy of each one, focus on a certain set and cut the more situational ones, though Token Collector and Ghost Ogre might be prioritized since you'll be seeing a ton of Floo and Adventurer from now on, along the still prevalent Swordsoul and Halqdon turbo.

If your goal is to play competitively, this game and its lack of Bo3 is the worst possible way to do that. Master Duel is only good for quick casual fun in the lower ranks.
The deal is, the game FORCES you to play competitively by having ranked be the only option, and the only real way to grind freebies. Non-meta decks can't even PLAY against the meta, and the power creep gets worse and worse each set.
Sims are unironically better at this point. Only thing MD has is the better presentation but even then you can tell this game is cheap outside of the mates having 3D models, not to mention the fact MD will always be 1 year behind the physical game while sims add everything ASAP.

You should. I was actually starting to hate yugioh until I dropped MD. Omega is actually better now than it was pre-MD release so I've been playing that. Being able to side deck again is such a relief and I don't run into fricking Stun decks every other game either. It's still not as polished as MD though, except card art is actually really high quality.

Why not keeping at least one copy of Carpedivem? You also don't need so many Irene since she has the worst effect of them all, reducing it to 2 or even 1 is more optimal so you can add an extra extender like Ranryu/Inabi Fire or Dynatherium.

After playing Floo for a while, I'd say that is the field spell what makes them extra disgusting and in a game where people disregard backrow removing options, Map alone can win duels. Being able to reliably summon Statue and have access to D. Shifter and Vanity's Emptiness makes them extra disgusting too.

You shouldn't ever spend real money on this trash.
The initial flood of gems for a new account is more than enough to build a few long lasting decks, and even ignoring dailies you get thousands of gems every time there's a festival.
The archetype is pretty good in terms of rogue decks, you just need some higher investment. You should also be using Heavenly Spheres and Striker Dragon at 2, Darkness Metal Dragon is also a really good extender, so you can add one or two Black Metal Dragon to search for it since is very easy to send the card to the GY by either using it as link or fusion material. You should eventually get enough UR dust to invest in the usual handtraps.

Despite have stronger defense against the more popular handtraps, I don't think virtual world's board is anything noteworthy.
There are two variants of Rose Tenyi auroradon combo line that makes generally stronger boards.
The one using the Adventurer safety net (and some board breaking for second turn) which involves making Baronne early with either Vishuda or Griffon.
-This one ends with Savage + Baronne + VFD (can preserve Borreload ATK with Basal shoot, making Black Garden unneccesary)
The other combo line doesn't have adventure engine onboard but have a stronger droplet proof board (Baronne+Arc Light+Savage+VFD) And can go into Accesscode turn 3 for cleanup).

You want him to come out on your opponents turn so you can use him to interrupt their plays. Best way is to have him in your hand and use libero Spiker or Midfielder to get either him or another ua card like blockbacker on the field.

I can't find a deck I actually enjoy playing. Everything that sounds cool and interesting turns out to just be an underpowered gimmick deck when I actually try it out. I feel like the only way to play this game is with your standard hyper aggressive combo deck. Why is it that combo decks have more monster effects that act as control than actual control decks that are limited by traps?

That's just straight up not true. Gamma is at 3 in TCG and will frick you up. People do play Crossout also, it's not just an anti-Maxx C card. TTT is more common than on MD, too to punish handtraps. But there is truth that handtraps are more powerful overall, as it should be. MD is bullshit because the best decks just say frick your handtraps and combo off. There's also less conventional options in TCG like Sales Ban to deal with handtraps which aren't out here yet in MD. MD has convinced me Called should be straight up banned in TCG.

ghost ogre is the best way to interact with continuous and field spells. most hand traps can't deal with them outside of stuff like psy-framegear delta
Getting rid of a key piece of your opponent's combo is always good, Ogre can also destroy Map which is the card that allows Floo to play during your turn.
Continuous cards like Cont. Spells, Cont. Traps, and Field Spells need to stay on the field in order to resolve their effect
Destroying them outright stops them
Also Ogre can use her effect while on the field so things an E. Tele can bring her out realiably since shes Psychic
Destroying Halq leaves them with a tuner on the board that can't activate its effects.
Negating Halq leaves them with a Link-2 on the board that can transform into something like a Desert Locusts, discard a card from your hand, and then quick synchro on your turn for another piece of interaction.

They get over 3k pretty easily and your card stays negated off field of it's destroyed by that guy. It's not the best deck but they can win with some straightforward plays. If your deck can't recur and spam beaters out then a well built war rock deck probably beats your deck at least a few times out of 10

If your goal is to play competitively, this game and its lack of Bo3 is the worst possible way to do that. Master Duel is only good for quick casual fun in the lower ranks.
The deal is, the game FORCES you to play competitively by having ranked be the only option, and the only real way to grind freebies. Non-meta decks can't even PLAY against the meta, and the power creep gets worse and worse each set.
The 1 year behind shit is what kills it for me. I just wanna play Labyrinths but it'll be ages before they're out. Meanwhile on a SIM, the moment a card is leaked, it's playable.
I'm asking myself why I'm even bothering with this shit at this point...

Ranked isn't competitive. It has everything from people who know how to play the game and play the latest meta decks to people who stubbornly stick to bad pet decks and people who have meta decks but are bad at the game and lose even when they have good matchups. What exactly is your idea of causal if not that?
Just cause there's bad competition doesn't mean it's not competitive. Even at Gold you'll run into Asians with their meta netdecks.
No, if it was competitive the people who aren't playing to win would drop out before getting there. You can find all sorts of decks and players in every rank because there really isn't any real consequences for losing, unlike in a tournament. Sure you can de-rank, but nobody actually cares and you can go up in rank again. If that's not casual then what exactly is casual?
Sims are unironically better at this point. Only thing MD has is the better presentation but even then you can tell this game is cheap outside of the mates having 3D models, not to mention the fact MD will always be 1 year behind the physical game while sims add everything ASAP.

You should. I was actually starting to hate yugioh until I dropped MD. Omega is actually better now than it was pre-MD release so I've been playing that. Being able to side deck again is such a relief and I don't run into fricking Stun decks every other game either. It's still not as polished as MD though, except card art is actually really high quality.

Why not keeping at least one copy of Carpedivem? You also don't need so many Irene since she has the worst effect of them all, reducing it to 2 or even 1 is more optimal so you can add an extra extender like Ranryu/Inabi Fire or Dynatherium.

After playing Floo for a while, I'd say that is the field spell what makes them extra disgusting and in a game where people disregard backrow removing options, Map alone can win duels. Being able to reliably summon Statue and have access to D. Shifter and Vanity's Emptiness makes them extra disgusting too.
