I summon Anger Knuckle/Qliphort Genius to throw two Armies to the GY after Obbligato (total:3) locks me into machines.

Mats and gems are practically fungible you moron. Spending one poorly means you're putting more pressure on the other. If you needed 3 crossouts so badly you wouldn't have 130 CP you'd have 40. Those gems can be spent more efficiently on packs where you need more than one(1) card and that means you will need to craft less in the future.

they are indeed fricked, however since the last Swordsoul pack came out, I did the missions every day and managed to get 6k gems for today's pull, I'm now full floo player for now with some craft materials to do whatever.
Next is the Link festival which will give another 5k, so that + missions is around 10k until the next pack for me, not counting the battle pass. I've only bought the discount sale once at the beginning and realized it's not worth it.

Seriously though, the dragonmaid deck is so good. You get all the URs and SRs from the archetype, AND you get two good URs from outside the archetype that you'd want for the deck. And some good other SRs as well.
If this is the quality of structure decks going forward then that will be awesome.

That's all you need. Slap them on a deck that doesn't need their normal summon effect to go off and there's your engine
of which you play very few. 2 rite, 2 enchantress, 1 fateful adventure, 1 gryphon, 1 dracoback, and that's it. everything else is useless as an engine and as a pure deck it's war rock tier. i do know of at least 1 deck that uses gryphon by itself as a free special summon and you could potentially do the same thing with illegal knight but don't know of any decks that would use that. so besides that incredibly niche use case, it's engine or bust.
I don't know if I want to run more lightning storm to break the board though. Especially with this hand testing result like this, should I just all in going first and hoping shifter will halt me going second?

The end board is a floodgate and a quick effect bounce. Floo is good since it dodges the gy while denying other archetypes the same. It doesn't need to go into a bunch of Towers and board locks.
It shuts down a lot of decks of they have to go first, like Prank Kids since their monsters have to go to the graveyard. Just use it.
Or for a budget option, you could run Different Dimension Grounds. Same effect but one sided for the opponent and is a normal trap, so it's worse

Droplet does nothing if Shifter is active since you must send cards to the graveyard specifically to negate anything.

You can just droplet on your turn, but I'd just use evenly matched instead. Spell/Trap negation is rare

Shifter last for 2 turns. So if you going second and throw that shit on 1st turn, you still can't use droplet.

My bad. Floowandereezenuts can actually cover the cost of Droplet easily but you're right it's dead a lot of the time.

you use zeus and other generic rank 1s and links. you sometimes have a flooded board from playing on the opponents turn and can actually use the extra deck. you don't want to run monarchs erupt because the extra is too important for playing pot of prosperity to find robina/map.

Both Magikey cards are glossy so with that, the extra Enchantress and the two Warrior Lady, that's 60 UR dust and by buying one maid deck I get an extra 40 UR and SR dust, not bad at all. Funny enough, the only SR card I couldn't pull was Small World, from everything else I got 2 minimum. I won't craft Sunny yet, I'll wait until the next event gems to give the pack four more rolls.

Such URs exist to decrease your chances on good pull. This is normal Konami practice. They were called out for doing similar things in their gachashit decade ago.

Basically, they have various effects depending on the attributes of NORMAL monsters used to ritual/synchro/fusion them. So you need 5 normal garnets just to run them. They waste a lot of resource to do very little
they would be decent if all the boss monsters functioned without loading your grave with different attributes. at least they made them super low rarity cause you really only need 1 of each of the UR.
New player here. How many "viable" meta decks are there actually? I've played MtG and Pokemon before and there's usually only ever like 3 actually decent decks and everything else is just a garbage cope.
For the last 2 months, like 70% of my matches were Swordsoul and Despia. That should give you an indication. Literally ignore whatever anyone says and look up what the meta is, then copy that. You can make whatever bullshit "fun" deck you want afterwards but you NEED a strong deck to carry you and actually earn rewards. Might as well bite the bullet while you're new and get loads of free resources. Make the most soulless, copypasted meta deck you can.
Don't be me. I spent all my shit on Toons, Relinquished, and Dark Magician. All terrible, terrible decks. I guess Dark Magician is okayish but its easily like a D tier.

Yugioh differs from the rest due to its default massive cardpool and lack of resources.
Yugioh decks are basically all the same, its just which of the 17 different ways to accomplisj the same thing you prefer. So in some ways there are a ton of choices that are meta relevant. In some ways, there is really only one or two truly meta relevant decks.

Does your deck use Normal summons?
If yes, no. If no, yes.
For example, the best way to play Swordsouls now is to play them with Rose Dragons and more Tenyi cards, as you cannot "normal summon Moye" into victory.

Basically the specific cards you obtain from structure decks are untouchable. Since you can get 3 of House and Sheou you can dismantle the ones you already had.
So for me there's no reason to buy it more than once since I'll only ever need 1 hieratic and 1 red eyes?

They don't play more than 1 REDMD (do DMaids even play REDMD?) but with merely 500 gems you complete the Housemaid/Sheou set and get 2 Spheres which is perfect.

Very good engine if you don't want to soil your maids with dirty Rokkets and is a great extender and useful Sheou fusion material, you usually carry one Darkness Metal and one or two Black Metal Dragon.
You can't dust structure deck cards, but you can dust the copies you already have. On your case, just buying one deck will give you 40 UR dust plus SR dust from cards like Kitchen and Chamber for just 500 gems, really good value.

It hinges on making Halquifibrax and not being interrupted at any point. The combo becomes second nature with enough repetitions
Also, the deck combo pieces would prefer to be in the deck for hand advantage and drawing them will suck. And as you point out, it involves a lot of generic boss monster URs which thankfully carry over to a lot of different decks, but still are lower priority over Ash and Maxx C

it's mosy used as a backup plan for other decks. all you need to start the combo is 2 monsters including a tuner, and if you've already wasted all your opponent's interactions with your main combos you can easily re-route into this if you just have a way to get halq on board.

Most of these cards are staples though so it doesn't hurt having them. Baronne and Savage are crazy good and definitely worth the costs.

Zefra usually does that as they go for 60 cards, use Yang Zing, and they have their own counter trap for added negates
This list is pretty standard. No Maxx C in the deck right now cause I don't know how much of a problem Floow will be. A lot of the hand traps and spells can be swapped out as needed.

Seriously though, the dragonmaid deck is so good. You get all the URs and SRs from the archetype, AND you get two good URs from outside the archetype that you'd want for the deck. And some good other SRs as well.

That's all you need. Slap them on a deck that doesn't need their normal summon effect to go off and there's your engine
of which you play very few. 2 rite, 2 enchantress, 1 fateful adventure, 1 gryphon, 1 dracoback, and that's it. everything else is useless as an engine and as a pure deck it's war rock tier. i do know of at least 1 deck that uses gryphon by itself as a free special summon and you could potentially do the same thing with illegal knight but don't know of any decks that would use that. so besides that incredibly niche use case, it's engine or bust.

Lightning storm is once per turn anyway so you only ever need one. With DRNM + LS you can break most boards already, although I prefer Droplet since it it lets me bait out LS first and chain droplet to one of their negates.

You can easily recover the discard cost with d-shifter. Plus you can chain droplet to lightning storm and use lightning storm as a cost too.

If you already got d-shifter. You probably don't need droplet since the end board is kinda weak.
The end board is a floodgate and a quick effect bounce. Floo is good since it dodges the gy while denying other archetypes the same. It doesn't need to go into a bunch of Towers and board locks.
Dimension fissure is usually better
Droplet does nothing if Shifter is active since you must send cards to the graveyard specifically to negate anything.
You can just droplet on your turn, but I'd just use evenly matched instead. Spell/Trap negation is rare
Shifter last for 2 turns. So if you going second and throw that shit on 1st turn, you still can't use droplet.
My bad. Floowandereezenuts can actually cover the cost of Droplet easily but you're right it's dead a lot of the time.
It shuts down a lot of decks of they have to go first, like Prank Kids since their monsters have to go to the graveyard. Just use it.
Or for a budget option, you could run Different Dimension Grounds. Same effect but one sided for the opponent and is a normal trap, so it's worse

you use zeus and other generic rank 1s and links. you sometimes have a flooded board from playing on the opponents turn and can actually use the extra deck. you don't want to run monarchs erupt because the extra is too important for playing pot of prosperity to find robina/map.

Both Magikey cards are glossy so with that, the extra Enchantress and the two Warrior Lady, that's 60 UR dust and by buying one maid deck I get an extra 40 UR and SR dust, not bad at all. Funny enough, the only SR card I couldn't pull was Small World, from everything else I got 2 minimum. I won't craft Sunny yet, I'll wait until the next event gems to give the pack four more rolls.

New player here. How many "viable" meta decks are there actually? I've played MtG and Pokemon before and there's usually only ever like 3 actually decent decks and everything else is just a garbage cope.

You can make whatever bullshit "fun" deck you want afterwards but you NEED a strong deck to carry you and actually earn rewards. Might as well bite the bullet while you're new and get loads of free resources. Make the most soulless, copypasted meta deck you can.

Yugioh decks are basically all the same, its just which of the 17 different ways to accomplisj the same thing you prefer. So in some ways there are a ton of choices that are meta relevant. In some ways, there is really only one or two truly meta relevant decks.

For example, the best way to play Swordsouls now is to play them with Rose Dragons and more Tenyi cards, as you cannot "normal summon Moye" into victory.
So basically, this engine makes meta decks way better by giving them another free omni-negate, while decks that need their normal summon get neither jack nor shit? Sounds like Yugioh.

For example Prank Kids need their Normal Summon but their monsters don't do shit when Normal Summoned so the Adventurer Engine is giga good for them
That's what I want to know. I run traptrix and skystrikers. Skystrikers don't want cards on the main field so I feel like a token would ruin everything. And my understanding is that Adventure stops normal summons for some reason? I still want to be able to normal summon traptrix monsters for their normal summon effects, so that's no good either.
So is dragonmaids worth 1500 gems since I have a bunch left over I've never played them before

As for Dragonmaids themselves they're a pretty decent Rogue deck, and that package is insane value, probably the best structure deck they released

If you buy it 3 times you can dismantle the old cards you have tho.
Basically the specific cards you obtain from structure decks are untouchable. Since you can get 3 of House and Sheou you can dismantle the ones you already had.
So for me there's no reason to buy it more than once since I'll only ever need 1 hieratic and 1 red eyes?

You want two Spheres minimum in a Dragonmaid deck, though.

They don't play more than 1 REDMD (do DMaids even play REDMD?) but with merely 500 gems you complete the Housemaid/Sheou set and get 2 Spheres which is perfect.

Very good engine if you don't want to soil your maids with dirty Rokkets and is a great extender and useful Sheou fusion material, you usually carry one Darkness Metal and one or two Black Metal Dragon.
Dragon Link is better with two seals from my experience.
You can't dust structure deck cards, but you can dust the copies you already have. On your case, just buying one deck will give you 40 UR dust plus SR dust from cards like Kitchen and Chamber for just 500 gems, really good value.

I remember going on Hearthstone after not playing for like 2 years and only facing clearly netdecked meta-decks in the bottom ranks.
Not in this case. If you stop playing for a month you'll be ranked down two spots even if you use meta decks and the quality of decks is not dependent on the price so you can make strong meta decks for cheap right from the start.

These are like 4 or 5 totally different boss monsters, that's easily like 6 URs including aurodoron and I haven't even looked at how rare the component pieces are. Why haven't I seen anyone play this, it sounds really good? Is it like, actually super hard to pull off or something?
It hinges on making Halquifibrax and not being interrupted at any point. The combo becomes second nature with enough repetitions
Also, the deck combo pieces would prefer to be in the deck for hand advantage and drawing them will suck. And as you point out, it involves a lot of generic boss monster URs which thankfully carry over to a lot of different decks, but still are lower priority over Ash and Maxx C

Savage Dragon is usable any deck that can make Links and Level 8 synchros, but again, is at most consistent with Auroradon
Coltwing is a garnet it’s useless in your hand people play 2 copies in the deck for this reason
So is the Nine Pillars and 001/Jet Synchron and Creation Resonator on top of whatever Halq engine your deck is on
it's mosy used as a backup plan for other decks. all you need to start the combo is 2 monsters including a tuner, and if you've already wasted all your opponent's interactions with your main combos you can easily re-route into this if you just have a way to get halq on board.
Most of these cards are staples though so it doesn't hurt having them. Baronne and Savage are crazy good and definitely worth the costs.
Also, the Colossus line uses Jet Synchron instead of Deskbot because it gets you the banish you need.
You actually use Auroradon’s second ability to tribute itself and a token to summon O’Lion from the deck
O’Lion plus two level 3 tokens is Savage Dragon
Then O’lion generates another token once it’s sent to the GY to Synchro with the Deskbot to make Arc Light
For Thunder Dragon Colossus, you need Cupid Pitch, a banished monster and Nemeses Corridor. It’s a different O’lion route but basically you use the tokens and tuner to synchro into Cupid Pitch(level 5), then synchro it off to get Nemeses Corridor from the deck, use Nemeses Corridor’s effect to shuffle a banished monster and summon itself, and then Thunder Dragon’s alternate condition of using a Thunder monster using its effect on the field as a Tribute to special summon itself from the extra deck

No, you either just go straight up into Baronne and keeping Auroradon as a pop around or you use one token and Don to search O-Lion, then make Savage and Herald or you use O-Lion to go into Denglong, search the Yang Zing counter trap and then go into Savage, Herald and Denglong floats into another Yang Zing monster, giving you 3 negates. It all depends on how room you can make for these combos and wether you like running garnets.
Zefra usually does that as they go for 60 cards, use Yang Zing, and they have their own counter trap for added negates

This list is pretty standard. No Maxx C in the deck right now cause I don't know how much of a problem Floow will be. A lot of the hand traps and spells can be swapped out as needed.

Judging by your post you stopped around DM/GX era
You need to catch up to the summoning mechanics which the tutorials cover
Handtraps however are not covered by the tutorial so you need to figure that part on your own

This game is F2P friendly as long as the first deck you build is actually viable

deck sucks especially if your opponent knows what the cards do but its probably decent enough to get you to diamond 1 if you have a good list/play well/get a bit lucky
