ASF has been unlimited since forever even back when the vast majority of decks were running broken spells as 2/3 of their deck. It's too slow and can't be played around like Imperial Order.
Stun decks tend to want to maintain field presence and don't have gy recovery which is usually too difficult to pull off. If they need floodgates in hand they just run multiple copies and use a bunch of draw cards.

Quite a few Macro decks can do it. A lot of monsters have efects that activate when theyre banished, and Skill Drain wont effect those guys

There was a fun deck in one of the DS games I played that had Macro Cosmos, Dimensional Fissure, and Skill Drain. It used monsters like D.D. Survivor, Guardian Eatos, and beatsticks like Chainsaw Insect, and Majestic Mech - Ohka whose negative effects are nullified by Skill Drain. That game must be more than a decade old by now. The deck sucks, although it was alright for the time, but you'd be able to cheese wins against some decks if you go first and manage to set up Macro Cosmos.
Reminder that Hidden Village kills the deck and the only play is to summon enchantress which puts them in a awkward position or as I like to call it, "The instant scoop". Of course there's Skill Drain, Gozen Match, Super Poly for the idiots who run Verte into DPE or Borreload Savage.
Honestly might run the triple DRNM and Evenly Match just for fun considering adventure always wants to go first.

There is only one real game mode and that is ranked. You are forced to rank up until gold. You WILL be forced to learn all that goofy shit if you don't want to end up in the "forced to rank up to Gold IV, immediately get de-ranked to Gold V, forced to rank up to Gold IV" loop for weeks.

Finally a list using behemoth fiendess
I got a million copies of her and 0 Gurus so the deck has just been sitting on the bench for two months now, alongside Generaiders without Harrs
SubTerror is my shit. I roll into ranked and become the PubTerror with SubTerror. I don't use Behemoth Fiendess much unless I'm wanting to force out Pot of the Forbidden. Most of my wins come directly from getting Waking the Dragon popped on turn 2 into Raidraptor Ultimate, or being a c**t and locking down the opponent with Skill Drain + Final Battle because of a really good interaction with the two. Basically it turns skill drain into every effect monsters BUT SubTerrors negated. It's pretty fricking funny actually. Also SubTerrors are one of the few archetypes I know of that can casually bring out and face up monsters with 'The Last Warrior from Another Planet' on the field. Due to card effects that flip (Final Battle, and Hidden City) allowing you to force flip up face down monsters
SubTerrors are love, SubTerrors are life.

I used to think the kaiju trap card was use less but I've been able to kaiju a monster, summon one to my side, flip their kaiju over and then have archer just bounce it back to my deck. I don't know what the frick to do in the ED or ratios but I'm enjoying it
You should replace man eater bug with some Krawler cards. They have more support and will give you advantage when popped. They're mostly N/R rarity too.

Yes 2 final battles is more than enough.
You want three Fiendess since if you draw more than 1 in your opening hand you can use her as an emergency turn 1 negate if you fail to draw Guru or the field spell and possibly force the opponent to enter the battle phase early. Having 2+ on turn means you'll be able to negate a turn 1 hand traps while searching out Final Battle. I also recommend warrior at one. He puts you into a minus at first but his effect is really useful for dodging effects and he'll come back every time a Behemoth monster is flipped face up. 2 for one is a fair trade for being able to easily summon Umastryx

Let me suggest you drop 1 ash and 1 fiendess and stuff 2 cave clashes in your deck. Just deal any amount of battle damage to your enemy with a SubTerror and you can pull ANY card with SubTerror in the name back into your hand form the graveyard. Basically letting you reuse fiendess. Not to mention the free +500A/D for every face down monster card AND due to it being called SubTerror it lets you quick effect Guru as the only SubTerror monster on the field. So you don't need 2 SubTerror monsters to do his shit as a quick effect. As far as ED I barely use it and just pull out the RaidRaptor when they pop Waking the Dragon for a free boss monster that isn't effected by shit.
Oh a final fun trick you can pull is if your face down gets attacked and you can beat over it with final battle FIRST use hidden city to flip att position, DO NOT neg att, then apply the final battle and make him kill his own monsters.

Depends on what deck you're playing against me. I can beat Swordsoul with some luck and a good hand, I cannot beat Invoked Shaddoll (the Dogmatika doesn't matter) or Prank-Kids no matter what I do. I will usually stick it out for the Invoked ones, but if I see a Prank-Kid I immediately leave because it's probably my most hated deck.

The cards that stop/hinder negates from being set up are good against 90% of decks. The cards that stop the common floodgates are good against like 20% of decks and will kill your consistency vs the rest.
Negates can potentially be baited out. Floodgates are purely draw the out or lose.
Floodgates, they literally prevent you from playing. Also the best deck currently can only put up 2 negates (3 with the highroll hand), playing through minimal negates if far more manageable than something like TCOBO or Skill drain

as a pure deck, it's genuinely abysmal. you literally can't do anything at all if you don't open a way to get to the token. and with both enchantress and rite at 2, you aren't going to be opening them very much, even with engines to help.
Wait what? My understanding is that Griffin Rider or whatever required the token to pull it out, right? So you need Water Enchantress? How does using Adventure as an engine even work, you just hope you draw an Adventure card in your normal deck?
It feels odd to me that the actual deck it's from apparently can't use its own gimmick but everyone talks about how it's SO easy and everyone will be doing it. Am I misunderstanding something?
They're getting more ways of summoning the token in the future but it'll be limited to within the archetype. They had to neuter the archetype because of how powerful the token combo was in every other deck.
if you're using adventurer as an engine in a different deck, you don't need to draw into the adventurer starters in order to do your plays; you just get additional protection, disruption, and removal. in a dedicated adventurer deck, you NEED to draw into rite or a way to get to it in order to do anything at all because all your cards require it.
It sounds like if Adventure can't search for it, no one else can? In that case aren't you sacrificing ateast like 5 cards and hoping you draw into the starter just to get an online Negate? It doesn't exactly sound feasible? Maybe I'm misunderstanding something about how Adventure works, but like.. if Adventure needs those starters to get their cards going, wouldn't you also need those starters? This kind of feels like having 1 Nibiru and hoping you draw it in your opening hand against a combo deck, or hoping you draw your one Feather Duster against a backrow deck?

People already play 4-5 unrelated cards on their main deck + Verte to make DPE, so this is nothing new. Enchantress has a number of ways to be sent to grave, such as foolish burial or using 2 lvl 3s to go into Cherubini, and if your deck already sends stuff from hand to grave normally like VW or Plunder Patroll, then it's even better.
I posted like 4 or 5 decks here once and they all had DPE in them. I was told to get rid of the engine because jt was hurting my consistency, and it worked. So I was under the impression DPE only fits kf you have the space or the ability to run it regardless?
Your deck has to be able to make Verte without much effort
Take Dragonmaid for example. On average they just barely put enough monsters on the field turn 1 for Seal, so they can't realistically summon DPE turn 1 without hard drawing the 2-of spell, at which point it doesn't become worth the 2 garnets.
You have 4 starter, 2 rite of aramesir and 2 elf. Either you banish elf from hand or GY to search for aramesir, or straight up using aramesir if you have one in your opening hand to search & activate fateful adventure, the use it to generate token and the special summon gryphon rider or dracoback depending on circumstances of whatever you need protection or bounce.
And it's fine if it's get negated by Ash, Baronne etc, because it's premium bait to protect your main combo or wasting opponent's negate

Griffon can't negate unless there's a token, yeah. It also can't negate if it gets destroyed before being shuffled into the deck, so Ghost Ogre could be getting more popular. It stops Fateful's effect to search too.

There are more than enough ways to get to the token in a dedicated deck, that's not the problem at all. Enchantress and Rite themselves, Fateful, Foolish, Small World with Handtraps, Prosperity, 1 card Cherub engines etc. I've built and tested the deck like that.

So in the end the only good cards are Rite, Enchantress, Fateful, Dracoback, Gryphon and Illegal Knight, which is exactly the Adventure engine that all decks play. There is no reason to play a pure deck if you will end up just playing the engine by itself when you could instead play an entire other deck with the same engine packed in.
This, you only hear about certain cards from the deck because the others are all bad, it's like looking at O-Lion/Auroradon/Enterblathnir and then looking at the other Mecha Phantom Beast cards. I would say hope for better support but given the two new cards they revealed both lock you into Adventure monsters it would have to be really, really good support.

Dude it's ojama. Ash is fricking pointless in this deck because they're so easy to get past. A single pop, or imperm, or even knightmare phoneix blowing up ojama country and your monsters are useless
The only way Ojama's win is if they go first and can get a full lockdown, even with a full lockdown you can still lose to lightning storm or imperm. Adding ash doesn't actually help you because 90% of decks can get around an ojama board that only sits on knight or something
Pajama is also too slow for the same reason. It's something that doesn't help you achieve full turn 1 lockdown and will be useless for your gameplan going second

I lose the cointoss and go 2nd. Opponent opens with virtual world spell so I maxx c and he ashes it. I have crossout and called by in my hand and it didn't give me the chance to negate ash with it. Game glitch or am I missing something?
You need to set quick play spells to use them on your opponents turn.

Quick plays are like traps, you have to set them to use them during your opponent's turn. Go read the rules.

Your general combo should be something like:
>Get Chuche out, use Lulu to pitch Qinlong and draw Jiji
>Get Jiji out(doesn't matter what you pitch here), combine Lulu and Jiji into Stardust
>Use Qinlong to search Roshi, use Roshi to pitch Nyan, ress Jiji which also ress Nyan
>Roshi+Jiji into Croc, Nyan+Stardust into Shenshen, then the two into VFD
So you go -3, draw two and get one card from Jiji's effect, ending on VFD, Chuche and five cards in your hand. This will give you a lot of grind potential. Of course, combo is different depending on your exact hand

Phantom Knights.
Nobody knows if they work alright pure because no one has ever bothered to try in the history of Yugioh.
They're good in anything that doesn't need an on-field effect of their normal summon. They're better in anything that needs to discard stuff. They're even better in anything that uses equips.
Plunder Patroll is one of the decks that gets the biggest boost from them for those reasons.

Adventure works well with Subterror since Guru activates his effect on flip rather than normal summon. Guru control becomes more viable with easy access to DPE.

Adventurer also gives you two bodies in your MMZ of which one isn't easy enough to get rid of, so you'd be trading the ability to use your spells for one (1) negate.
The strength of the adventure engine in Skytriker is that it instantly dumps 3 spells into the GY and afterwards you can just go into Verte and DPE if you don't need the negate to clear your field.
That's not how you use Adventure in Striker, you use it to break boards, make Verte and dump spells into the grave.

It's not going to make a major difference, but you should probably try to pay attention to what cards are letting you down the most and then removing them.
Going over 40 is alright, if cutting cards would mean hurting your ratios. For example, it's better to run 41 cards than to cut an ash or something.

Maybe, but it's weird now because they hit your starters. You probably want to run Sangan or other Cherubini engines to compensate for the consistency loss and that fricks with being able to run stuff like Amano.
But I don't know for sure because maybe in pure Adventure you would play multiple Fatefuls which can also find Enchantress and you would also probably play Prosperity/Extravagance.

I must be misunderstanding something about VW. How do you get VFD put so often? People say you should be able to get it out turn 1 but it's more like a turn 3-5 summon for me. And actually most games I can't get him out at all.

They use level 9 synchros that give them advantage like the big fish synchro, link it away, then bring it back with cloud castle. Cloud castle is not once per turn btw. I've seen some decks use pot of avarice to recycle them for turn 2 and 3.

I deeply regretted not getting the selection pack with Eldlich and Shuraig when it was out.

That pack sucked. It left you without the key parts of the archetypes, and then you had to pull from their secret packs to finish it which meant getting the ones you got from the selection pack anyway. You were better off getting their secret packs from the start unless you wanted to craft a bunch of SRs.
The blue-eyes one was ironically better because it had linkuriboh and melody of awakening dragon which are both master pack only URs.
Weirdly enough, that's what I got making the BEWD deck in the first day it was ever released back at jan.

What should my general play be to get sheo out asap? can you even get sheo out before the battle phase turn 1? I know I want to pull changeover with chamber but I don't know how to go about getting multiple maids down on the board in the same turn. and I have no idea what i'm doing with my extra deck other than summoning sheo and I'm supposed to get spheres out too but what do I want to tribute to get it out?
You want to open with a dragon and parlor/chamber. Then search chageover and fuse into Sheo.
You summon Spheres in case you cant summon Sheo as plan B. Normally it goes summon maid->Link into Stryker Dragon->Pull maid from GY with Hospitality->Summon Spheres.
If you have noctovision dragon you can special summon him after summoning Stryker and Link them both, Nocto's other effect draws a card.
Parlor can drop Changeover to the GY and the Chageover pulls itlsef and a maid back to hand.
I'm debating on adding to my Dark Magician deck but I learned the hard way trying to keep it under 50 cards, I really like it right now but it can easily improve but I'm not sure what to add or remove
