Branded has to be top three at this point with the sheer amount of support it has if nothing else, feels like every two months they add more consistency and strength to the deck.
For what I play, I usually find P.U.N.K + anything with GY effects as a consistent deck even if it plays out a bit differently here and there.
I honestly feel like without interruption most every archetype is consistent if you understand how to play it, what it does may be bad but it'll do it unerringly.

Intent is the key. You wanna use agido/cuckbek and kitkallos to mill, with the important part being payoffs for said mills. You can bring out Millennium-Eyes Restrict and Dragostapelia pretty easily while also getting your board set up with Vice-Madame, Madame Verre, and potentially a copy of Haine or a witch to go into her, while also filling up your hand and field with spells during the EP.

To maintain the deck's identity primarily I assume. That's why Intent is such a strong factor when mixing and matching. Witchcrafters strongly benefit from GY setup, so they pair well with Ishizu stuff in particular, and you get some incidental payoffs by mixing in a few Tearlament names. It only stops being a Witchcrafter deck when Tearlament payoffs become more important for your overall gameplan, after which point you have a watered-down Tearlament deck.

I misread this as not allowing them to activate effects until their next turn after. This card would have been getting banned if anyone finds even a close to reliable way to get it out and to activate it's effect PROPERLY under that idea. Would be yata-lock levels of stupid.

Actually scratch that. The only Exosissie card that locks you is Vadis which is a trap. Tuna could be a decent option since Exosissies do have issues closing out games.
The only problem with Solfachords is that they brick so fricking much. Only one good spell card you absolutely want to have and the only way to search it is a fricking level 5 girl which you won't even need to search it if you're able to get her on the field. Pend mages just are so much more consistent and do so much more it's ridiculous.

I've found that it is completely viable to play Aleister the Invoker in this deck. Backing up Noir with a Mechaba and a Ensemblue Robin is ridiculous and was decently consistent until konami decided to limit Delicious Memory.

I already did some research though. You should consider running Diviner of Herald which can work as a starter for the deck (send Hierarchia > Tribute Diviner > Summon Cutia from deck).
Also isn't Harmonizing Magician just way better than Wing Magician if you want a tuna? You could also run 1 copy of another Magician to summon off it.
And I personally wouldn't run Darkwurm without Dragon Shrine to summon it from the deck.

The OCG is fine but the TCG is subject to israeliteart's israeliness. VS got hit particularly hard since most of their cards are URs, so they're extremely expensive to build. Upside is that in a few months to a year they'll be reprinted, but as it stands it's not worth buying into. Other sims like edopro or omega are totally free though.
As for the physical experience, mileage varies based on the people you play with. It's either a great experience or the worst thing you'll ever do in your entire life.

Kind of. Branded Fusion is still the backbone of the deck's plays. So some hands you lose to a single Ash, others you make an okay board and get guaranteed followup.

Because that's the OCG style format, it's incredibly lopsided. You either shut people down immediately or you stop them from doing that and pop off with absolutely no honderance. People scoop because no topdeck will save them and they know it.
It's way worse with this style of banlist. Called By let's you play for free if you go first. You don't see this kind of shit stomping so consistently in TCG because handtraps actually tend to resolve for the player going second. In OCG style formats you end up with the opponent trading even to negate a handtrap and they go massively plus with engine, then your hand is smaller and you're just straight up out valued. Maxx C just straight up wins the fricking game if it resolves unless you're already playing some lame unfun deck. You don't have the stupid "Maxx C minigame" to worry about in TCG, you just directly address their plays. You don't have the anti-fun consistency hits that make decks feel worse to play "sometimes" that don't address the power ceiling. Decks just feel like shit to play so bad decks can have a participation trophy win.

You don't see this kind of shit stomping so consistently in TCG because handtraps actually tend to resolve for the player going second. In OCG style formats you end up with the opponent trading even to negate a handtrap and they go massively plus with engine, then your hand is smaller and you're just straight up out valued. Maxx C just straight up wins the fricking game if it resolves unless you're already playing some lame unfun deck. You don't have the stupid "Maxx C minigame" to worry about in TCG, you just directly address their plays. You don't have the anti-fun consistency hits that make decks feel worse to play "sometimes" that don't address the power ceiling. Decks just feel like shit to play so bad decks can have a participation trophy win.

Intent is the key. You wanna use agido/cuckbek and kitkallos to mill, with the important part being payoffs for said mills. You can bring out Millennium-Eyes Restrict and Dragostapelia pretty easily while also getting your board set up with Vice-Madame, Madame Verre, and potentially a copy of Haine or a witch to go into her, while also filling up your hand and field with spells during the EP.

To maintain the deck's identity primarily I assume. That's why Intent is such a strong factor when mixing and matching. Witchcrafters strongly benefit from GY setup, so they pair well with Ishizu stuff in particular, and you get some incidental payoffs by mixing in a few Tearlament names. It only stops being a Witchcrafter deck when Tearlament payoffs become more important for your overall gameplan, after which point you have a watered-down Tearlament deck.

I already did some research though. You should consider running Diviner of Herald which can work as a starter for the deck (send Hierarchia > Tribute Diviner > Summon Cutia from deck).
Also isn't Harmonizing Magician just way better than Wing Magician if you want a tuna? You could also run 1 copy of another Magician to summon off it.
And I personally wouldn't run Darkwurm without Dragon Shrine to summon it from the deck.

How fun is paper YGO currently? I want to get into the physical game and play VS.
The OCG is fine but the TCG is subject to israeliteart's israeliness. VS got hit particularly hard since most of their cards are URs, so they're extremely expensive to build. Upside is that in a few months to a year they'll be reprinted, but as it stands it's not worth buying into. Other sims like edopro or omega are totally free though.
As for the physical experience, mileage varies based on the people you play with. It's either a great experience or the worst thing you'll ever do in your entire life.

Ironically enough, my longest duels have been of 2-3 turns because Tears mirrors can run the clock with how much the players play on each other's turns. It's not about the amount of turns, but the amount of actions you perform during the whole duel.

Kind of. Branded Fusion is still the backbone of the deck's plays. So some hands you lose to a single Ash, others you make an okay board and get guaranteed followup.

Runick is a control deck. The stun just came from floodgates because they go well with them but it's not inherently a stun / floodgate deck.
What happened to good old back and forth matches? Everyone just surrenders the moment it gets a little inconvenient for them. negated your Max C? Better surrender. One negate halfway through your combo? Better surrender. Why even build meta decks anymore if I could just handtrap my way to master rank?
Because that's the OCG style format, it's incredibly lopsided. You either shut people down immediately or you stop them from doing that and pop off with absolutely no honderance. People scoop because no topdeck will save them and they know it.

It's way worse with this style of banlist. Called By let's you play for free if you go first. You don't see this kind of shit stomping so consistently in TCG because handtraps actually tend to resolve for the player going second. In OCG style formats you end up with the opponent trading even to negate a handtrap and they go massively plus with engine, then your hand is smaller and you're just straight up out valued. Maxx C just straight up wins the fricking game if it resolves unless you're already playing some lame unfun deck. You don't have the stupid "Maxx C minigame" to worry about in TCG, you just directly address their plays. You don't have the anti-fun consistency hits that make decks feel worse to play "sometimes" that don't address the power ceiling. Decks just feel like shit to play so bad decks can have a participation trophy win.
