Holy frick this synchro event is so fricking terrible. I just sit there and watch people spend all day slowly doing combos, sometimes even on my turn. I'm not even gonna bother for the gems let alone the field part
learn the synchro combos of one of the decks. suffer through until you hit 30 synchro summons, then swap to a deck for going second or kaiju/burn/trap shit. i got more wins with my kaiju trap burn with lord of the heavenly prison than the loaners. only way i was able to get the tokens for all the gems
She's using the anime version of Soul Binding Gate. Basically she decided to work with the definitely-not-Yusei antagonist after witnessing the apocalyptic future that pretty much wiped out humanity. The cause was the rampant Synchro summoning system (related to evolution) that cause the Momentum system to run out of control causing massive "Zero Reverse" disasters that basically caused continents to implode. Which the system tried to overcompensate for this disaster by creating killer robots to trying to wipe out the source of the excess Synchro summoning (the humans)

Why is EEV limited? Doesn't Furniture Lab just run 1 and search it anyway? Surprised they're hitting Branded Fusion with Branded support still in a selection pack. Hope it actually gets limited later so that stopping them from recycling it is enough.
Look at what the new Branded support does. It offers alternative fusion options. They wanna push people into running 3x Cartesia to replace the former 3x BF. Branded is also a deck that pretty much EVERYONE has as it's been pushed time and again by the devs as the "beginner meta strategy."
So they're not concerned with people "building Branded" as much as they are with them "upgrading Branded."

They can't ban it that quick in paper because the card was literally just reprinted in the newest set they're already getting flak for rarity upshifting in a horribly unbalanced way.
In addition to what was said, Lab has been doing okay in the recent Asian tournaments, placing in the top 10 regularly, but it hasn't made that huge of an impact. All of them run a single copy of DDV and EEV in their side-deck to combat certain meta decks.
The Lab player in the German finals just drew his one-of EEV in his starting hand after side-decking it in and then won off it+Lovely. It was a high roll situation. If he didn't start with EEV in his hand, he likely would've gone into Lady to search it from his deck.
Limiting it MD is not that impactful for Lab and will likely impact other trap-based archetypes more. Lady will be able to search it out and it's yet to be seen if EEV will see much use in Lab decks in the coming months since it's a very meta dependant card, especially in a Bo1 format. It's mostly a hit to trap trick/track into EEV like the other's mentioned.

There is a secret tier list that the developers have and it's called the pet deck tier list. It's decks that the developers love, usually a higher up in the company that enjoys.
Branded and Swordsoul are at the top of the list in MD, since they've been out the longest and recieved the least amount of hits. Branded is the best pet deck in Master Duel because of how expensive it is. It's why they got their own secret pack. And Surprise! Guess what other archetype is getting their own secret pack. SWORDSOUL!
Floo and Spright are high tier on the pet deck list considering no limits on Robina and Elf ban.
Runick too, fountain 100% needs to get limited.
Meanwhile in the TCG the moment Superheavy Samurai became meta they got absolutely demolished by the banlist, making them pretty low on the pet deck tier list. Eldlich is low on the tier list considering all the floodgate shit banned. That's a good thing though.
the only thing that is stopping me from playing eldlich now is the fricking bystial cards, you don't really need floodgates in your golden lord deck, you can just play them pure now and they've unlimited some golden land trap. But playing Pure Eldlich in the current meta is literally suicide.

I guess it makes it so you have to deal with both to get rid of their skill drain, but most floo decks ive fought just go for avian or raiza for their 2-tribute summon.
Kitkallos won't get banned because with KotS at 1, you effectively make the deck unplayable. And that's something MD wants to avoid, especially since they wanna distinguish themselves from TCG/OCG who use the bablist for rotation. MD benefits much more from keeping as many decks as possible playable. So if Tears can remain legal in MD into the future, that's a win for them.
Tears are not meta in the OCG. It's an engine reliant on Chaos Ruler to enhance other decks. It's not even a deck anymore, and it's a pure Copium barely competitive list.
KotS to 1 was a deliberate decision to attempt to try a different approach with Tears. They won't go back on it just cause you're salty and want to kill the deck.
That is all tearlaments has ever been because tears are a moron archetype that doesn't have any locks.
The decks still use Kaleido, they still use Rukallos, and they still use the tear names themselves in order to do their ED plays. Here's a question for you. WHY is the deck reliant on Chaos Ruler? Because Chaos Ruler is the cope way to dump tear names into the grave. It is still a tear deck.

They can't ban it that quick in paper because the card was literally just reprinted in the newest set they're already getting flak for rarity upshifting in a horribly unbalanced way.
In addition to what was said, Lab has been doing okay in the recent Asian tournaments, placing in the top 10 regularly, but it hasn't made that huge of an impact. All of them run a single copy of DDV and EEV in their side-deck to combat certain meta decks.
The Lab player in the German finals just drew his one-of EEV in his starting hand after side-decking it in and then won off it+Lovely. It was a high roll situation. If he didn't start with EEV in his hand, he likely would've gone into Lady to search it from his deck.
Limiting it MD is not that impactful for Lab and will likely impact other trap-based archetypes more. Lady will be able to search it out and it's yet to be seen if EEV will see much use in Lab decks in the coming months since it's a very meta dependant card, especially in a Bo1 format. It's mostly a hit to trap trick/track into EEV like the other's mentioned.

There is a secret tier list that the developers have and it's called the pet deck tier list. It's decks that the developers love, usually a higher up in the company that enjoys.
Branded and Swordsoul are at the top of the list in MD, since they've been out the longest and recieved the least amount of hits. Branded is the best pet deck in Master Duel because of how expensive it is. It's why they got their own secret pack. And Surprise! Guess what other archetype is getting their own secret pack. SWORDSOUL!
Floo and Spright are high tier on the pet deck list considering no limits on Robina and Elf ban.

About to build tears. I thought it was ban bait but this has convinced me kitkat simps run the ban list decision process.
Kitkallos won't get banned because with KotS at 1, you effectively make the deck unplayable. And that's something MD wants to avoid, especially since they wanna distinguish themselves from TCG/OCG who use the bablist for rotation. MD benefits much more from keeping as many decks as possible playable. So if Tears can remain legal in MD into the future, that's a win for them.
Tears are still meta on OCG with Kitkallos banned. They’re fine. KOTS can go back to three.
Tears are not meta in the OCG. It's an engine reliant on Chaos Ruler to enhance other decks. It's not even a deck anymore, and it's a pure Copium barely competitive list.
KotS to 1 was a deliberate decision to attempt to try a different approach with Tears. They won't go back on it just cause you're salty and want to kill the deck.
That is all tearlaments has ever been because tears are a moron archetype that doesn't have any locks.
The decks still use Kaleido, they still use Rukallos, and they still use the tear names themselves in order to do their ED plays. Here's a question for you. WHY is the deck reliant on Chaos Ruler? Because Chaos Ruler is the cope way to dump tear names into the grave. It is still a tear deck.

They already released all the Furniture Labrynth cards as N and R. They have to make Chaos Angel and Muckraker as URs to compensate because the furniture build doesn’t play traps outside of the Welcomes.
They are semi-limiting so much stuff from Spright that I am starting to think that they won’t ban Elf in MD. If they wanted to ban Spright Elf then this card would be banned already. But instead they are only hitting the consistency of the deck.
