Only bad thing about it is that it can be Ashed and everyone is eternally on roach so everyone is also eternally on Ash (TCG proved that Eclipse is fricking amazing otherwise). Lunar Eclipse if you can play it and good old Book of Moon are good alternatives.

Nah, it's a good card in the right meta. It turns your opponents monster effects off without triggering their floating effects, gets past destruction protection, and can be used as an interruption on top of that. But yes, it's bad in roach meta where it can be Ashed. Although maybe that can be seen as an upside if your deck is really weak to Ash, but can push through boards with their engine.
Swords of Concealing is a good alternative to avoid the Ash problem, but it's purely a going second card.

Rescue Ace and Purrly die to essentially the same cards.
Rescue Ace looks dope and just sets some interaction and it is done quickly. It is essentially Machina Fortress + Sky Striker.
kashtira and lab are very good investments for the future. kashtira still tops in OCG currently and even in TCG with diablosis banned, lab also has presence, so i'll be making those decks.

Can't believe that, Branded has no in-engine way to out Bagooska. Only non-engine like TTT or Change of Heart. And TTT can be hard to actually get off for Branded in that scenario unless you play into it. I run Change of Heart in part to beat Bagooska (and turn off Tear backrow), fairly underrated.
Also Grave of the Super Ancient Organism works good. Sometimes Branded would run Ding just to get rid of this and also Megaclops from NumeroBlack folk, but I don't think anyone is on that right now.

It is to an extent, but there is some truth to it. People like to exaggerate the kash pend matchup by saying this exactly, and while it is a bad matchup, its not like kash couldnt just zone lock 5 mmzs and win anyways against other decks. Only difference is that its easier to lock the pend zones than it is to lock the mmzs, but its still very doable.
It's the worst and enough of a reason to avoid it or play some kind of sub-variant that can actually 1-card combo or remove backrow. I've played Lab mirrors where I resolved EEV on him turn 2 and proceeded to brick against the only moron still playing 2x Labrynth field spell. He just summoned his Lovely back and won in a few turns. Realistically it does just turn into who can EEV first though

I think the ishizu cards were fine, what is not fine is that Tear can summon outside their archetype with no restrictions, this is why they can still win even with the entire banlist against them. I do too think Tear was fun, I was playing Tearlament Ultra Athlete in the WCS event and it was glorious.

Every SD beginning with Cybernetic Successor is decent at worst. To my experience, Dark Magician and Cyber Dragon tend to be the most common SD matchups lately. Learn the matchups if you plan on staying in gold.
Konami needs to do something about the first 3 SDs. They suck, but they're also tied to anime archetypes. Maybe release better Utopia and Galaxy Eyes SDs for Photon Hypernova?
I would rather have them updated so that if you already purchased them you get an additional 2 URs from the deck type.
My suggestion would be to either make the Cipher structure into a Photon hybrid with the PHYY support and a copy of Number 62, or add 1 high power staple like Veiler and some bad UR like Chicken Game. Mind Control instead of Veiler could also work, since the deck has the "change control" gimmick.
Utopia is easy AF to update, just add Dragonar and Draco-Utopian Aura to the structure
IMO, the Pendulum one as is is fine, but if it ought to be updated then add Arc-Pendulum, Revolution Dragon and maybe Pendulumgraph.
The only one that's hard to work out what to do with is the cipher one, the only reason people buy it is for the playset of Honest to frick around in casual duels
Floodgates are more fair then combo decks because at least they take like 6 turns to kill you so you have more time to draw the out, unlike coombo where if you don’t out their board immediately, they will punch you to death with 3k beat sticks that will negate any sort of defensive cards you activate

The sad thing is that anon isn't even wrong. Elma loops just aren't worth it in today's hyper consistent meta. The Six Sam infinite loop is more consistent and even that rarely sees play. If it were freed nobody would play it because nothing can consistently set it up and if you want an FTK Gem Knights are right there.
It's not a quick effect because it doesn't say "until the end of the turn". You choose between the mandatory spell negate, or the targeting protection.

The pendulum mechanic was heavily nerfed. It didn't used to have the rule that face up extra deck monsters can only be pend summoned to the extra monster zone/where a link arrow points. You could just pend summon 5 every turn with an empty hand and nothing your scales. Even today that'd be busted.

You'd have to be shotgunning it after their first spell anyway. If they targeted your monster then it'd already be too late to chain the protection effect, and if you sat around waiting to see if they were going to go into something that targets you'd risk being caught off guard by a quick effect/trigger that targets.

It's a beast of a boardbreaker in Legend Anthology in decks with piercing damage.
It's not ass itself, its downsides are irrelevant most of the time. Only bad thing about it is that it can be Ashed and everyone is eternally on roach so everyone is also eternally on Ash (TCG proved that Eclipse is fricking amazing otherwise). Lunar Eclipse if you can play it and good old Book of Moon are good alternatives.

Nah, it's a good card in the right meta. It turns your opponents monster effects off without triggering their floating effects, gets past destruction protection, and can be used as an interruption on top of that. But yes, it's bad in roach meta where it can be Ashed. Although maybe that can be seen as an upside if your deck is really weak to Ash, but can push through boards with their engine.
Swords of Concealing is a good alternative to avoid the Ash problem, but it's purely a going second card.

Can't believe that, Branded has no in-engine way to out Bagooska. Only non-engine like TTT or Change of Heart. And TTT can be hard to actually get off for Branded in that scenario unless you play into it. I run Change of Heart in part to beat Bagooska (and turn off Tear backrow), fairly underrated.
Also Grave of the Super Ancient Organism works good. Sometimes Branded would run Ding just to get rid of this and also Megaclops from NumeroBlack folk, but I don't think anyone is on that right now.

People like to exaggerate the kash pend matchup by saying this exactly, and while it is a bad matchup, its not like kash couldnt just zone lock 5 mmzs and win anyways against other decks. Every SD beginning with Cybernetic Successor is decent at worst. To my experience, Dark Magician and Cyber Dragon tend to be the most common SD matchups lately. Learn the matchups if you plan on staying in gold.
Konami needs to do something about the first 3 SDs. They suck, but they're also tied to anime archetypes. Maybe release better Utopia and Galaxy Eyes SDs for Photon Hypernova?
I would rather have them updated so that if you already purchased them you get an additional 2 URs from the deck type.
My suggestion would be to either make the Cipher structure into a Photon hybrid with the PHYY support and a copy of Number 62, or add 1 high power staple like Veiler and some bad UR like Chicken Game. Mind Control instead of Veiler could also work, since the deck has the "change control" gimmick.
Utopia is easy AF to update, just add Dragonar and Draco-Utopian Aura to the structure

The sad thing is that anon isn't even wrong. Elma loops just aren't worth it in today's hyper consistent meta. The Six Sam infinite loop is more consistent and even that rarely sees play. If it were freed nobody would play it because nothing can consistently set it up and if you want an FTK Gem Knights are right there.

The pendulum mechanic was heavily nerfed. It didn't used to have the rule that face up extra deck monsters can only be pend summoned to the extra monster zone/where a link arrow points. You could just pend summon 5 every turn with an empty hand and nothing your scales. Even today that'd be busted.
No, I was playing the game when it first came out and they still weren't busted and there were plenty of better decks that weren't pendulum related. BA, Shaddoll and Zoo all come to mind that were decks smack dab in the middle of the pendulum era and were way stronger than the best decks at the time

You'd have to be shotgunning it after their first spell anyway. If they targeted your monster then it'd already be too late to chain the protection effect, and if you sat around waiting to see if they were going to go into something that targets you'd risk being caught off guard by a quick effect/trigger that targets.
