In our world, carnivorous plants in which traptrix are based on, give off a scent that insects like and they capture insects, leading them with that scent. They do this in case they can't get enough nutrients like nitrogen from the soil, so they get their fill from the insects. It's a survival strategy and since they exist today, shit works. Not all of them are these plants but they do something to lure people into a false sense of security and then strike.
In short, plants offer something to the insect, insects feels like they can get it safely, they get eaten.
How does this apply to traptrix, well just look at them, what are they? They are e-girls, every single one, and they offer sex to trick and eat their prey.
Now hold on, that's absolutely ridiculous, you might say.
Sure you can argue that they offer something else, like food that their prey would like, like the scent carnivorous plants give off to insects.
However you have to consider their prey, humans. Humans normally wouldn't take food from children they never met, it would be odd, as well as the fact that humans have evolved over time that we grow our crops, and we don't need to risk our lives for a piece of fruit, especially from a strange little girl we run into in the woods. Even if the humans were lost, out of food, starving, they would have to be delirious enough to ignore safety and follow these strange children into a suspicious cave to be eaten. So the traptrix's food would only come if people were stupid, lost, alone, hungry and unlucky, so their food supply would be even more rare if any at all. Basically, if Traptrix offered humans food, they would likely die off since not many humans would risk it when they could just grow their own, have their own, and just might not like trusting strange little girls in the woods, unless they actually were moronic.

No. All witchcrafter monsters need their effects. Although you can wait until the opponent turn, but this deck is already too slow without grass
If you're running it with adventurer's engine you can just special summon a witch instead. The decks have multiple ways to achieve that end (Unveiling, Reasoning/Monster Gate, One for One, Holiday if you find a way to sack one of them). Thing is that you're better off just running Solemns or even Ultimate Providence since you're pretty much just using the cards for dracoback's bounce and gryphon's omni.
I also don't really have many problems with Witchcrafter decks that don't run grass, but I learned to tailor them with the TCG in mind. The fact that we have Reasoning at 3 copies in MD is nuts.

Yep. I run into them for some reason only when I play Agents. My deck routinely takes cards out of the GY, be it banishing for costs or Majesty Hyperion rising from the dead to rape your GY. I am almost always able to play around them and win without even going out of my archetype.

99% of decks literally can't go into Arc Rebellion, and while Raider's Knight is easier, intended, and you get the field negate, it still requires Dark Level 4s (most decks aren't playing them) and both lose to getting negated by anything. There's only so much room in the extra deck regardless

i tried 3 evenly matched it's only really good vs backrow and does nothing vs monster boards and costs me my battle phase.
i don't know, i know imperm is a strong card, it stops alot of bs, but i think in this instance if i run droplet it's value drops and backrow removal becomes much more important.especially for a go second deck.

Pull on a random pack full of good URs/SRs then when you're done spam pulls on the same pack so you can disenchant and get material for cards you actually want. At this point it seems like that's the only way you're going to be able to get new cards besides the garbage selection packs.
That was my experience with the thunder dragon solo mode deck too. I just kept clicking yellow buttons and things kept happening. Seems like a fun deck.

But then I decided to run with eldlich and holy frick I am on a 9 win streak in diamond
rivalry of warlords, skill drain, solemn judgement and strike is almost impossible for any combo deck to overcome, even with going second these cards are so devestating, doesn't matter how many omni negates they have on board
Every deck has bad matchups, some matchups are so bad that it's an autolose. The vast majority of decks in ranked play a certain way that's extremely vulnerable to certain deck compositions, it makes them seethe to no end because they refuse to build around them since it weakens their decks against other combo decks. All they can really do is call you a gay for using those cards and hope you stop.

In our world, carnivorous plants in which traptrix are based on, give off a scent that insects like and they capture insects, leading them with that scent. They do this in case they can't get enough nutrients like nitrogen from the soil, so they get their fill from the insects. It's a survival strategy and since they exist today, shit works. Not all of them are these plants but they do something to lure people into a false sense of security and then strike.
In short, plants offer something to the insect, insects feels like they can get it safely, they get eaten.
How does this apply to traptrix, well just look at them, what are they? They are e-girls, every single one, and they offer sex to trick and eat their prey.
Now hold on, that's absolutely ridiculous, you might say.
Sure you can argue that they offer something else, like food that their prey would like, like the scent carnivorous plants give off to insects.
However you have to consider their prey, humans. Humans normally wouldn't take food from children they never met, it would be odd, as well as the fact that humans have evolved over time that we grow our crops, and we don't need to risk our lives for a piece of fruit, especially from a strange little girl we run into in the woods. Even if the humans were lost, out of food, starving, they would have to be delirious enough to ignore safety and follow these strange children into a suspicious cave to be eaten. So the traptrix's food would only come if people were stupid, lost, alone, hungry and unlucky, so their food supply would be even more rare if any at all. Basically, if Traptrix offered humans food, they would likely die off since not many humans would risk it when they could just grow their own, have their own, and just might not like trusting strange little girls in the woods, unless they actually were moronic.
So they must offer something else right?

Money or treasure? That must be it right? As they can speak to humans, are sentient and offer something valuable. The answer is still no, what sane man would believe a little girl telling them that they have a million gold coins stashed away in a cave and that it's theirs for the picking? They would get suspicious and suspect they may be attacked, rightly so. Also why would the little girl tell a stranger, instead of taking it for themselves. Again not many people would fall for it even if they were a trustworthy little girl, yet traptrix live, they must be doing something else.
You may also think they play the role of a lost kid, and the people they trap are good Samaritans trying to help them. Well they clearly look dressed, aren't in distress so they wouldn't look the part of a lost kid, that they'd help either, why would they follow traptrix? They must be doing something that humans want, would risk their lives for knowing the risks despite being smart, something that in their mind would be worth it.
The answer is sex. Sex with children is looked down upon. It would be something normal humans would not be able to obtain. Traptrix offer sexual favours for men and instead of being pleased they get killed and eaten. It makes sense too.
If they offer food, or treasure, no human would take it our of suspicions.
The only other explanation is their ripe fertile bodies.

If they only targeted e-girlcons, wouldn't they die off since there are so few e-girlcons? None of this would make sense we take that into account, except what if this was wrong? No. All witchcrafter monsters need their effects. Although you can wait until the opponent turn, but this deck is already too slow without grass
If you're running it with adventurer's engine you can just special summon a witch instead. The decks have multiple ways to achieve that end (Unveiling, Reasoning/Monster Gate, One for One, Holiday if you find a way to sack one of them). Thing is that you're better off just running Solemns or even Ultimate Providence since you're pretty much just using the cards for dracoback's bounce and gryphon's omni.
I also don't really have many problems with Witchcrafter decks that don't run grass, but I learned to tailor them with the TCG in mind. The fact that we have Reasoning at 3 copies in MD is nuts.

Yep. I run into them for some reason only when I play Agents. My deck routinely takes cards out of the GY, be it banishing for costs or Majesty Hyperion rising from the dead to rape your GY. I am almost always able to play around them and win without even going out of my archetype.

99% of decks literally can't go into Arc Rebellion, and while Raider's Knight is easier, intended, and you get the field negate, it still requires Dark Level 4s (most decks aren't playing them) and both lose to getting negated by anything. There's only so much room in the extra deck regardless

Pull on a random pack full of good URs/SRs then when you're done spam pulls on the same pack so you can disenchant and get material for cards you actually want. At this point it seems like that's the only way you're going to be able to get new cards besides the garbage selection packs.

If you wanted to build a deck to run them at the same time, I guess you just load up on three of each of the big motherfrickers and jam as much of their support cards as you can into the deck. I once saw a guy whip out fricking Armityle and win, so Sacred Beats are somewhat viable at least.
You can play a Sacred Beast deck, they got an entire structure deck not very long ago. It won't be crazy or anything, but very playable.

So umm I've always struggled in ranked, sure I can get diamond 1 but at the cost of my sanity.
But then I decided to run with eldlich and holy frick I am on a 9 win streak in diamond
rivalry of warlords, skill drain, solemn judgement and strike is almost impossible for any combo deck to overcome, even with going second these cards are so devestating, doesn't matter how many omni negates they have on board
It's like playing on easy mode
Every deck has bad matchups, some matchups are so bad that it's an autolose. The vast majority of decks in ranked play a certain way that's extremely vulnerable to certain deck compositions, it makes them seethe to no end because they refuse to build around them since it weakens their decks against other combo decks. All they can really do is call you a gay for using those cards and hope you stop.
