I see these guys get posted from time to time. Are they good? I know they get played with some sort of mech card which feels like it's right up my alley.
Melffy Rabbit and friends arent that strong but they are often paired with Spright which works well with it
Technically, any black card can turn into the giant mech, all you need to do is attack with a black card and he can come out, it just so happens that the Melffy cards are one of the easier ways to do it
They're a better than people give them credit for. Wally alone is a one card combo for a pop, a hand rip, and then a pop 3 that leaves a big towers that floats on the field. And it leaves you with a lot of hand advantage and a starter in hand for followup. Obedience Schooled or Rescue cat give you stronger one card combos.
Then you have easy access to Kerass on subsequent turns to cheat out a Shuraig who can trigger on the opponent's turn easily too and probably more links or rank 2s.
I use primarily melffy with some nimble and tri brigade cards, spright gamma burst is an easy OTK if supported with joyous melffy detach skill. Great fun deck with lots of raw defense, search and card advantage, its not viable in high ranks, but high rank yugioh is joyless misery

There's nothing discourteous about surrendering when you have no chance of winning. I've never had this happen to me because I hit the surrender button when I've lost instead of wasting both players' time.
I always see people complaining about others surrendering just before the other player wins, so I don't do that.

But extending the duel for no reason but to be a c**t is a c**t move.

I've lost a game because I didn't continue comboing since the opponent's hand and field were empty, and oops it turns out they were playing an Electromagnetic Turtle that they milled 10 minutes ago and I should've made a negate first. So either I make you wait spending time reading every card in your GY that I don't know by heart, or I continue increasing my chances of winning by continuing to combo since you clearly think you have a chance of winning because you didn't surrender.
Those things only make me more likely to expect getting fricked over by some extremely gimmicky bad card that will just so happen to be really good in this one situation that almost never comes up.

What's a better combination right now for dark decks >Relinquished Anima, Dharc >Linkuriboh, Knightmare Phoenix
On EdoPro, I use Anima, because the same 3 mats then give you S:P Little Night, basically 2 removals and 1 interrupt without a discard
But on MD, I don't resove Anima that often, and using it means no Linkuriboh/Phoenix colinking and the free draw.
Anima/Dharc rely on interaction with the opponent, while Linkuriboh/Phoenix don't. Dhac's search is really good as it searches everything in my deck. Anima's attack sucks when it has no equip.
I dont really know what i want really. Dragonlink really scratches the itch i like in just clicking a trillion buttons every duel while also being able to just brain off, spam big dudes every single turn.
gate guardian is very funny, so i guess ill play that as well. right now, im heavily contemplating on investing in purelly, but just towers pass is not really a game plan i heavily enjoy

Yes. You equip it on one of them alongside Mayowashidori, attack for 4k, then use Mayo to return that monster to hand, sending Double Edge to the GY and use Ohime to equip Double Edge to herself and swing for another 4k.
It's just really strong for Mikanko in general. You can equip it to an opponent's monster with 2k attack which boosts it to 4k, then swing into it once and they take 8k damage.

If your ash resolves and stop their trap card or Hanzo, then you're probably good. Otherwise, using link monsters. They can't flip link monsters down.
Tricky ninja players will have multiple traps and/or extenders in case their combo starter gets stopped though. Ninjas are easier to beat if they go second. Just be wary of the ones that have DRNM and Kaijus.

Arise at 1 is going to make Diablosis overpowered for the mirror. Arise at 2 still allows the moronic double Arise board and resists Diablosis.
I don't think its justified. Fenrir behaves completely differently outside the Kashtira deck.
For one, Fenrir search Fenrir doesn't happen when Kash is at full power. You are searching Rise or Scareclaw to continue extending. So hitting Fenrir "because it can search itself" does nothing to Kashtira the deck.
Fenrir is fricking obnoxious though and I've love to see it gone. It's not comparable to Pank at all, hell Druiswurm is the new Pank when you think about it.
Killing their main deck power should be the first course of action if you want to weaken the deck. The TCG banned Ariseheart while leaving most of their main deck untouched. Did that kill the deck? Hell no it didn't. People can just lean into their main deck plays more since they have disgustingly strong removal power from Fenrir, Unicorn, and even Ogre since you can cheat it out with Shangri-Ira. Worst yet is that you can afford to splash fricking Runick into their deck now since their endboard doesn't have macros on legs.

Banning meow meow is a direct power hit. Also the real power of prankids is that having 15 one card starters let’s you fill the deck with instant win blow out cards. The actual end board of double raigeki or HFD isn’t a big problem

Do Sacred beast decks even run Armityle? It keeps getting support but I don't think I've seen it on field outside of certain win scenarios and meme strategies.
I like to run one of him and the fusion spell. He's not part of your standard gameplan but he does come up when you need to nuke your opponent's board with Phantom of Fury or just slap them for an easy 10k to finish them off. I would appreciate a Quickplay Dimension Fusion Destruction retrain though.

Yeah. Funniest thing is that Revolution Synchron makes Beastking of the Swamp better in Tear than King of the Swamp because of AFD and the Rank4 toolbox. But even back when Tear came out it was fricking dumb because it was just straight up worse in Ishizu Tear than not playing King of the Swamp.

Melffy Rabbit and friends arent that strong but they are often paired with Spright which works well with it
Technically, any black card can turn into the giant mech, all you need to do is attack with a black card and he can come out, it just so happens that the Melffy cards are one of the easier ways to do it

They're a better than people give them credit for. Wally alone is a one card combo for a pop, a hand rip, and then a pop 3 that leaves a big towers that floats on the field. And it leaves you with a lot of hand advantage and a starter in hand for followup. Obedience Schooled or Rescue cat give you stronger one card combos.
Then you have easy access to Kerass on subsequent turns to cheat out a Shuraig who can trigger on the opponent's turn easily too and probably more links or rank 2s.
I use primarily melffy with some nimble and tri brigade cards, spright gamma burst is an easy OTK if supported with joyous melffy detach skill. Great fun deck with lots of raw defense, search and card advantage, its not viable in high ranks, but high rank yugioh is joyless misery

What's a better combination right now for dark decks

On EdoPro, I use Anima, because the same 3 mats then give you S:P Little Night, basically 2 removals and 1 interrupt without a discard
But on MD, I don't resove Anima that often, and using it means no Linkuriboh/Phoenix colinking and the free draw.
Anima/Dharc rely on interaction with the opponent, while Linkuriboh/Phoenix don't. Dhac's search is really good as it searches everything in my deck. Anima's attack sucks when it has no equip.

If your ash resolves and stop their trap card or Hanzo, then you're probably good. Otherwise, using link monsters. They can't flip link monsters down.
Tricky ninja players will have multiple traps and/or extenders in case their combo starter gets stopped though. Ninjas are easier to beat if they go second. Just be wary of the ones that have DRNM and Kaijus.

I don't actually think Kashtira will be gutted beyond the Fenrir semi. Maybe they limit Arise-Heart to 2 or just a ban on Diablosis.
Arise at 1 is going to make Diablosis overpowered for the mirror. Arise at 2 still allows the moronic double Arise board and resists Diablosis.
Fenrir will be the first member of the kashtira goon squad for the chopping block. Even the OCG was able to acknowledge how moronic the card is.
I don't think its justified. Fenrir behaves completely differently outside the Kashtira deck.
For one, Fenrir search Fenrir doesn't happen when Kash is at full power. You are searching Rise or Scareclaw to continue extending. So hitting Fenrir "because it can search itself" does nothing to Kashtira the deck.
Fenrir is fricking obnoxious though and I've love to see it gone. It's not comparable to Pank at all, hell Druiswurm is the new Pank when you think about it.
Killing their main deck power should be the first course of action if you want to weaken the deck. The TCG banned Ariseheart while leaving most of their main deck untouched. Did that kill the deck? Hell no it didn't. People can just lean into their main deck plays more since they have disgustingly strong removal power from Fenrir, Unicorn, and even Ogre since you can cheat it out with Shangri-Ira. Worst yet is that you can afford to splash fricking Runick into their deck now since their endboard doesn't have macros on legs.

It can't summon 2 of the 3 Wicked Gods since ? is actually not equivalent to itself. Not that they do anything. It's really just for the Sacred Beasts and Yubel. Pyro and Thunder have no targets besides them anyway.
The only Fiends which would even be remotely useable outside of Ravioli would be Dreadroot, Onuncu or Demise, and none of them would realistically be worth it to run anyway
