Hawk roar and dark are definitely the best ones. Original thunder dragon is good for letting you summon colossus and for activating titan's destruction effect. Matrix is good because it's a quick effect so you can activate titan on your opponent's turn, and it is also the only normal summon able thunder dragon. Most thundra decks play one duo also, it doesn't really come up super often but it has big stats and the effects can be useful. Lord and the link monster are kinda trash. The spells and traps are also pretty trash besides thunder dragon fusion, which is amazing.
Aloof lupine, white/black baby chaos dragons and chaos space are basically honorary thunder dragon cards.

You want two copies of anchor drill at least and still keep the fortress so you can also bring Earth slicer with it and Harvester. The rank 7 is a worse Liebe but you can make good use of it. Run the spell that works as protection for XYZ and RUM for infinitracks, but be careful that you're going to have two spell zones busy with that and Heavy forward. Don't bother with the traps, they're too slow and specific, you can run shit like the spell that targets an opponent monster with attack less than a XYZ you control and adds it as material, it's a quick spell so you can chain it
All you have to do is end a turn on Sera with a few set cards and you can still work from there, it’s not so bad Anon. In Gold I run a 60 card Traptrix for fun and I still win most of the time. It’s a really versatile deck if you want it to be.
Numerongays are consistently salty about Traptrix because one Floodgate Trap Hole invalidates their gameplan.
Also, why is Numeron even considered a coinflip meme when the whole point is that you're pretty much guaranteed to always go second. It's anti-coinflip.

"Brick" for VW just refers to "Not being able to get VFD out turn one". As someone who does play VW a little bit, its common to only get half of the cards you need to complete a combo so you end up with a sub optimal board. Like maybe the best you can do is make Shenshen or something, which is good enough honestly

VW is famously bricky because of the way their combo works. If you don't have something on field you can't do their combo, and out of eight VW card(nine if you count E Telly) four can't be placed on the board turn one. So if you draw Roshi, Lili, Chuche and that other trap you have zero plays despite having four different VW cards in your hand. This is made worse with handtraps as VW doesn't have a one card starter, so while something like Tri Brigade or Swordsoul can draw four handtraps and still get their full combo off with a single card, VW with just Lulu is a brick.

Alright anon, I gotta be real with you. By does fine in plat I mean It has like a 50/60ish percent win rate so I am stuck around plat 4 (3 on a good day). 1 lamia and nyammi is probably better but I like cute and funny cards so I run 2 (and nyammi saved my ass a few times, turns accesscode to 0 atk often). You also only need 1 echidna, I just pulled 2. The last card ogdoadic hollow is kind off a meme but it's been pretty useful for countering graveyard effects. Deck is somewhat hard to pilot
I don't recognise some of these cards, especially the ED. What's the two between Barronne and Linkuriboh? Also the one between knightmare phoenix and IP?
Rank 4 is king of the feral imps. You detach a material to search a reptile. Usually coatl since thats a free summon from hand due to her effect then just tribute king off to summon an ogdo from the grave for more plays. Rank 8 is hope harbinger dragon, negates a spell. The link is alien shocktrooper m-frame. Haven't used him much but he's there for if I get locked into reptiles. Would def be better if you run the alien package (cosmic slicer zeroll+planet polluting virus)

Its not a BAD idea but most people tend to not run much back row hate or destruction, plus Waking the Dragon falls victim to the standard negates and hand traps like Ash. If you do run Waking the Dragon, I'd recommend you also have Raidraptor Ultimate Falcon in your ED because that usually fricks people up. But you end up in awkward scenarios sometimes like

Overall its best to not rely on it. I'd say Waking is excellent as bait trap. People freak out when they see it and they'll want to spend cards to stop it. If it succeeds, you weren't relying it to win games and that's one less negate on your actual winning cards. If it does work then shit, that's a massive advantage.
Honestly as long as you aren't expecting it to win you games, its fine. Just be careful how much you rely on it.

I wouldn't really recommend DPE for traptrix. Its not BAD or anything but it eats up a fair amount of space and it doesn't really benefit you to draw the pieces. Dasher for example is a 6 star and doesn't fit into the usual traptrix rank 4 xyz summon toolbox, and Celestial usually isn't summoned either.
You also don't have a lot of traps, especially trap hole traps. This isn't too bad since traptrix can always just search for the traps they want, but you do want to make sure you draw a good number of them in your opening hand. There's no point in making Sera and nothing else is on your field
I'd recommend you make a Gallant Granite >Rank 4 XYZ so its easy for traptrix to get out >Adds one rock monster to your hand when you detach a material >Lord of Heavenly Prison is rock >Nibiru is also rock
My deck isn't perfect and I'm sure it will trigger people for being over 40 cards. But traptrix are good at searching for traps and each other, so as long as you get enough starters it works out fine. Some of these traps are especially useful too.

I'm a firm believer in the Utopia package in Traptrix. Basically, you do your usual thing for Traptrix going first, interrupting their plays with your traps. Then kill them on the next turn with a 10000 attack monster. Also, run at least 2 Maxx C, only one copy of Shade (multiple copies tend to brick badly since it can't be used immediately) and a third copy of Sera for the more grindy games.

Utopia Double combo - now that's a real brick. Utopia Lightning is good enough for punching over most shit without becoming useless the second you draw Double or Nothing.
I agree, it's a phenomenal card on turn 1. I meant to call it a shit card to draw two in the opening of or get on any turn after 1. It's kind of clunky as compared to the other extender, Paralell eXceed which works better if your opponent survives your first turn.
Too many Trap Hole cards, usually you'll only want Bottomless at 1 and Floodgate and Gravedigger at 2, then fill the rest with general use traps depending on your play style, but the more popular ones tend to be Torrential Tribute, Ice Dragon's Prison, Lost Wind, Solemn Judgment and the obvious Imperial Order and Impermanence. You don't want Crossout either, you're better replacing it with Pot of Prosperity. Add more utility Rank 4 XYZ cards in your ED, stuff like Time Thief Redoer to steal cards from your opponent's deck, Gallant Granite to search for Heavenly Prison or Drill Driver for piercing damage. Zeus is also a given and a good emergency option.
Regarding DPE, I'm currently using him in this ranked season and I have some mixed opinions about him in Traptrix, is a very good disruptor and is very easy to bring him to the field if you ever get interrupted, but on many occasions it feels that he does nothing but extend duels when I could have quickly ended it with the Double Utopia engine. Another problem is that I can't add Utopia Double and Double or Nothing because that would be adding yet another garnet and bloating my ED even more. Also, with Utopia it didn't hurt that much pulling DoN because I also have Lightning as a backup strat.
This is the Traptrix DPE deck I'm currently using, I had added Utopia and Lightning just to have a damage dealer but I haven't summoned him at all so I might remove him for Gallant Granite and a generic Link.

it's pretty consistently 1 year behind OCG. 6 months behind TCG. Certain things get fudged by a month or two because of them doing these split releases.
Either really broken like "Special summon zombies that was banished or sent to the graveyard to the field", "Level 4 or lower Zombie monsters cannot be effected by card effects" to something mundane like "Once per turn (except the battle phase), if a Zombie monster was removed from the field by the opponent's cards, special summon it back to the field or return it to hand."

Duel Links and actual are extremely different. The only benefit of DL is learning what cards do. 90% of Meta DL shit will never work in MD or any version of the card game.

Are you playing 60 card? If so you could play Scythe Lock if you hate your opponent. Could throw in Nemeses Corridor to get a banished card back and you can also play TD Colossus along with it. One Token Collector is good if you wanna rape Chinksoul players.

Foolish Burial, Uni-Zombie, Gozuki and Avendread Savior are pretty good. Shiranui Soltaire and Spiritmaster are good too, although they dont dump cards into the graveyard they do get cards out of the deck. Same with One For One.

i wouldn't say he's 300 iq, he's just difficult to bring out because of his summoning condition, if you just make a deck solely to bringing him out and nothing else it's probably a bad deck. i think the most human deck that can turbo him out without sabotaging themselves is odd eyes, i have a pend magician deck that is mainly for bringing him out aswell but the deck does not rely on him since he requires a godly hand + not get hand trapped once(imperm/ash), i managed to get him out like 5 times.

For me it's just 3 cards (hawk, roar, dark) for banish decks and accessing colossus.
Other cards just look like filler
Hawk roar and dark are definitely the best ones. Original thunder dragon is good for letting you summon colossus and for activating titan's destruction effect. Matrix is good because it's a quick effect so you can activate titan on your opponent's turn, and it is also the only normal summon able thunder dragon. Most thundra decks play one duo also, it doesn't really come up super often but it has big stats and the effects can be useful. Lord and the link monster are kinda trash. The spells and traps are also pretty trash besides thunder dragon fusion, which is amazing.
Aloof lupine, white/black baby chaos dragons and chaos space are basically honorary thunder dragon cards.
They should make toys of the Superdreadnoughts

You want two copies of anchor drill at least and still keep the fortress so you can also bring Earth slicer with it and Harvester. The rank 7 is a worse Liebe but you can make good use of it. Run the spell that works as protection for XYZ and RUM for infinitracks, but be careful that you're going to have two spell zones busy with that and Heavy forward. Don't bother with the traps, they're too slow and specific, you can run shit like the spell that targets an opponent monster with attack less than a XYZ you control and adds it as material, it's a quick spell so you can chain it

As someone who does play VW a little bit, its common to only get half of the cards you need to complete a combo so you end up with a sub optimal board. VW is famously bricky because of the way their combo works. If you don't have something on field you can't do their combo, and out of eight VW card(nine if you count E Telly) four can't be placed on the board turn one. So if you draw Roshi, Lili, Chuche and that other trap you have zero plays despite having four different VW cards in your hand. This is made worse with handtraps as VW doesn't have a one card starter, so while something like Tri Brigade or Swordsoul can draw four handtraps and still get their full combo off with a single card, VW with just Lulu is a brick.

By does fine in plat I mean It has like a 50/60ish percent win rate so I am stuck around plat 4 (3 on a good day). 1 lamia and nyammi is probably better but I like cute and funny cards so I run 2 (and nyammi saved my ass a few times, turns accesscode to 0 atk often). You also only need 1 echidna, I just pulled 2. The last card ogdoadic hollow is kind off a meme but it's been pretty useful for countering graveyard effects. Deck is somewhat hard to pilot

Usually coatl since thats a free summon from hand due to her effect then just tribute king off to summon an ogdo from the grave for more plays. Rank 8 is hope harbinger dragon, negates a spell. The link is alien shocktrooper m-frame. Haven't used him much but he's there for if I get locked into reptiles. Would def be better if you run the alien package (cosmic slicer zeroll+planet polluting virus)

Its not a BAD idea but most people tend to not run much back row hate or destruction, plus Waking the Dragon falls victim to the standard negates and hand traps like Ash. If you do run Waking the Dragon, I'd recommend you also have Raidraptor Ultimate Falcon in your ED because that usually fricks people up. But you end up in awkward scenarios sometimes like
>Opponent just never draws their backrow removal because harpy feather duster is limited to 1 per deck
>So Waking the Dragon never activates and just wastes a trap slot
>Waking gets activated too early and it gets negated
>Your ED super special boss monster gets Kaiju'd anyway
Overall its best to not rely on it. I'd say Waking is excellent as bait trap. People freak out when they see it and they'll want to spend cards to stop it. If it succeeds, you weren't relying it to win games and that's one less negate on your actual winning cards. If it does work then shit, that's a massive advantage.

I wouldn't really recommend DPE for traptrix. Its not BAD or anything but it eats up a fair amount of space and it doesn't really benefit you to draw the pieces. Dasher for example is a 6 star and doesn't fit into the usual traptrix rank 4 xyz summon toolbox, and Celestial usually isn't summoned either.
You also don't have a lot of traps, especially trap hole traps. This isn't too bad since traptrix can always just search for the traps they want, but you do want to make sure you draw a good number of them in your opening hand. There's no point in making Sera and nothing else is on your field
I'd recommend you make a Gallant Granite

My deck isn't perfect and I'm sure it will trigger people for being over 40 cards. But traptrix are good at searching for traps and each other, so as long as you get enough starters it works out fine. Some of these traps are especially useful too.

I'm a firm believer in the Utopia package in Traptrix. Basically, you do your usual thing for Traptrix going first, interrupting their plays with your traps. Then kill them on the next turn with a 10000 attack monster. Also, run at least 2 Maxx C, only one copy of Shade (multiple copies tend to brick badly since it can't be used immediately) and a third copy of Sera for the more grindy games.

Utopia Double combo - now that's a real brick. Utopia Lightning is good enough for punching over most shit without becoming useless the second you draw Double or Nothing.
I agree, it's a phenomenal card on turn 1. I meant to call it a shit card to draw two in the opening of or get on any turn after 1. It's kind of clunky as compared to the other extender, Paralell eXceed which works better if your opponent survives your first turn.
Too many Trap Hole cards, usually you'll only want Bottomless at 1 and Floodgate and Gravedigger at 2, then fill the rest with general use traps depending on your play style, but the more popular ones tend to be Torrential Tribute, Ice Dragon's Prison, Lost Wind, Solemn Judgment and the obvious Imperial Order and Impermanence. You don't want Crossout either, you're better replacing it with Pot of Prosperity. Add more utility Rank 4 XYZ cards in your ED, stuff like Time Thief Redoer to steal cards from your opponent's deck, Gallant Granite to search for Heavenly Prison or Drill Driver for piercing damage. Zeus is also a given and a good emergency option.
Regarding DPE, I'm currently using him in this ranked season and I have some mixed opinions about him in Traptrix, is a very good disruptor and is very easy to bring him to the field if you ever get interrupted, but on many occasions it feels that he does nothing but extend duels when I could have quickly ended it with the Double Utopia engine. Another problem is that I can't add Utopia Double and Double or Nothing because that would be adding yet another garnet and bloating my ED even more. Also, with Utopia it didn't hurt that much pulling DoN because I also have Lightning as a backup strat.
This is the Traptrix DPE deck I'm currently using, I had added Utopia and Lightning just to have a damage dealer but I haven't summoned him at all so I might remove him for Gallant Granite and a generic Link.

Fabled is trash. Duel Links's meta is nothing compared to Master Duel's. Whatever's good there, is most likely shit here.
fabled are playable but they end on extremely generic boards with 0 fabled monsters and their combos last forever from what I've seen.
Duel Links and actual are extremely different. The only benefit of DL is learning what cards do. 90% of Meta DL shit will never work in MD or any version of the card game.
I stopped DL when MD came out and I find it amazing how there is nothing new here except wightprincess.

Foolish Burial, Uni-Zombie, Gozuki and Avendread Savior are pretty good. Shiranui Soltaire and Spiritmaster are good too, although they dont dump cards into the graveyard they do get cards out of the deck. Same with One For One.

i wouldn't say he's 300 iq, he's just difficult to bring out because of his summoning condition, if you just make a deck solely to bringing him out and nothing else it's probably a bad deck. i think the most human deck that can turbo him out without sabotaging themselves is odd eyes, i have a pend magician deck that is mainly for bringing him out aswell but the deck does not rely on him since he requires a godly hand + not get hand trapped once(imperm/ash), i managed to get him out like 5 times.
I'm too small brained for combo decks. You tell me if this is something if you caliber.
