It's not really good. It's redundant in Eldlich where if most of your interaction is through Trap Cards, then it doesn't matter if you negate your opponent's monster effects during your turn if you're able to stop them from building their board in the first place.
In other trap decks where your interaction is helped by monsters, it's basically useless. Even shit like Stun needs their Boarder/Fossil Dyna to work on the opponent's turn.
It's still a free "frick you" to anyone trying to build their board with effect monsters. Any deck that can run Skill Drain could run this too, it just wouldn't be as effective because it doesn't block quick effects on the opponent's turn.

This reminds me, why are people only saying that Druidwurm is Albaz when both Magnumut and Saronir have identical stats, are both dragons, have the same type, the same level, the same summon effect, and Branded support abilities, while Cartesia also includes Albaz support as her effect?
No one seems to mention that these "other" dragons could just be the corrupt or forcibly altered versions of Albaz's other forms, like Saronir being very beastlike. Druidwurm just looks most similar to Albion I guess, and he appears in the art of Rebranded.

She's a woman so she's the final boss of the storyline and is going to introduce another new apocalyptic archetype after they separate everyone from the body and she's on her own
Entirely and wholly different project from Maximus.
I can only guess Maximus/Dramaturge made a deal with Aluber since Aluber lent his dragon mask to Maximus and put the mask to the Saintess' Armor and it turned into Quaeritis.
Which then sought out to try and gather the rest of the Branded, got Iris first with White Relic, and was there when they put Iris into Proskenion.
White Relic is the Saintess' Soul harboring the vessel of the Red Headed girl, and took over her body while in the process of finishing the ritual Maximus was doing to revive her body whole.
Because she's the first saint of Dogmatika, hence why her temporary body was the White Relic of Dogmatika. Her title reflects this in that while Ecclesia is the "White Saint," she is titled with "Red Saint" in the same way Albaz's power was Branded in White while Aluber's power was Branded in Red.
Note that a lot of Abyss story monsters that are related to each other don't directly have their names together, like Mirrorjade the Iceblade Dragon (Icejade/Swordsoul) or Masquerade the Blazing Dragon (Despia).
Cartesia herself is just Albaz support cardwise, she's not a Despia, Dogmatika, or Byssted card despite working fine in Despia.
But is she evil and actually affiliated with Despia/Aluber or does she have her own agenda, because the Branded Central Dogmatika art is giving mixed vibes
No one knows, we'll have to wait until more spell/trap cards are released.
Right now given what we know it seems that Maximus's goal has been achieved and Quem is revived, while Aluber's always been a man who worked for himself (his tagline is "an existence that mocked the light and deceived the darkness) and he's been merged with the new form of the Dogmatika Nexus (The Byssted Alba Los). Cartesia's only actual action at this point has been to Rebrand the Byssted Druidwurm in an art that's seemingly meant to evoke the same scene as Ecclesia calming down Albion. She's an Albaz card, and we'll have to see what the rest of the Byssted are supposed to be (they all have identical stats, levels, attribute, type and are similar to the Albaz Dragons).
So Byssted is a new Abyss archetype, are those Kshatri-La cards also an Abyss related archetype or are they just a thing

Byssted is for the Abyss storyline, Kshatriya are the new villains in the Visas Starfrost storyline and are currently abusing the Tearalaments girls while Visas brandishes his Scareclaw blade to fight them.
There are two current main card stories currently happening in the core boosters.
One is the long running Albaz storyline, commonly known as the Abyss plot (from what I remember, this is the name of the world in it). This is all the Tri-Brigade, Despia, Dogmatika, Albaz, Sprite, Therion, Springan, etc. lore.
The other is the very recently started Visas Starfrost storyline. This follows Visas Starfrost and his journey across many worlds, beginning with the Clear New World, then going to the 4th World, Reichphobia, world of the Scareclaws (themed after Fears). He is currently in the 1st World, Perlereino, home of the Tearalaments.
The Kshatriya have just kidnapped the Tearalaments princess and are currently assaulting Reichphobia as well apparently, designating them as the certified villains of the storyline.
What about the Withcrafter/Magistus/Endy, storyline?
The Spellbook story is a very long running story that only gets smatterings of stuff in side sets usually, like Genesis Impact. They've never been a "main" one and their story contains comparatively less stuff despite having several archetypes like Invoked and Prophecy in them. Remember Gagagigo? It's sort of like that but on a grander scale, they only get thrown a bone every once in a while when a new archetype comes out relevant to it or one of their archetypes gains support to accommodate new cards. It's a lot slower now that there are no more new card mechanics being introduced though, no more randomly slamming down a link monster to fix an archetype out of nowhere, or at least a lot less of this.

A lot of people have assumed she is Ecclesia corrupted or possessed but she could also just be a counterpart to Ecclesia that came from the Abyss at the same time the 3 "Byssted" dragons did (like how Albaz and Aluber are counterparts who share the same stats and effect theming).
Truth is we will need to wait for the lore and further cards to know for sure, right now it could go either way (though I lean towards it being corrupted Ecclesia entirely because Konami loves making corrupted versions of cute girl characters in their stories).
How good is Despia + Shaddoll? It looks fun, but I can't imagine it being more consistant than just pure Despia + Albaz.

Links are fine I guess, it's just that there's lots of cards that do effects based on the opponent's monster level that xyz just slip by making those cards worthless unless you know your opponent isn't using any xyz cards.

Yeah we are definitely getting "new" (the rest of Burst of Destiny) cards but that's all that we can safely confirm. Not new modes, not custom banlists for duel rooms, not more frequent events, etc. If they it takes them multiple months to release assets like new icons and fricking main menu backgrounds that are some of the lowest effort things they could make, don't really have high hopes for anything that would renew interest.

Nah DT was considerably more convoluted and only got even moreso with the legacy support they added, like Steelswarm Origin implying The Fabled had a hand in the creation of the Steelswarm long ago, or the Qliphort Genius and Shaddoll SD cards showing Tierra's essence physically.
WL was very straightforward, putting it in last place as far as convolutedness goes. Point A to B to C with some backstory slotted in, and all the legacy support has been post-story showing how they've fared after Avida's sacrifice, like Krawler Soma.
It's not really convoluted, it's split into "things that matter" and "things that are going to matter in the future". The main storyline is easy to follow with Albaz meeting Ecclesia, them running off, doing their own thing to find themselves and learn about the world, then the serious plot picks up with Aluber and Maximus and they have the supporting cast with the big Tri-Brigade guys and Theo/Adin/Fleur. Kitt, Therions, Splight are the sideshow that will end up important.
Meanwhile they were pulling final bosses out of their ass constantly in Duel Terminal. Every new antagonist archetype felt like it was "uhhh it's this previous archetype but evil now" and because of the heavy focus on entire GROUPS you end up forgetting about more than half of them and what they accomplished. Partly because they're bad surely Vylons and Ally of Justice and maybe Jurracs are next to get support after they gave it to Fabled and Ice Barrier, right?, but it's just hard to keep track of it all.
What I want them to do for Ally of Justice support is to unlimit Birdman
AoJ wouldn't even be playable if they got multiple cards that made it so their effects could be used on/with anything, not just Light, or turned all your opponent's monsters to Light.
I'd love Vylon to get new support though, I feel like I'm the only one who loved them because the only feedback I got when trying to construct their deck in MD was that they're weak with shit designs. They're salvageable, especially because they're a Synchro/Xyz archetype that glues itself to other DT ones lightly.
Jurrac is dead, generic Dino support might get a Jurrac tagged onto the name in the future but it's unfathomably shitty, almost early GX anime tier bad. Same for Flamvell and Laval without their busted generic. Gishki could be saved.

You ideally want something like:

>3 Water Elf that searches the spell card in case you don't open it (or to bait a negate if you do open it)

>1 Gryphon that the previous spell searches for you
>Potentially 1 Dracoback if the bounce effect appeals to you
Depending on your monster lineup you can play less Elf and use Small World to search her (or use Small World to use her as search fodder) instead.

The majority of the low level monsters are extremely bad but Hanzo and Yellow are fine (especially since neither of Hanzo's effects are OPT). Green is another body on the board. Notebook + Alchemy is a draw 2. Problem is really the monsters themselves, the Dragon Ninjas have decent attack but not a whole lot else going for them so you need other boss monsters, which you want to use their backrow to make.

Looks like he succeeded and Cartesia is the result. Yes White Relic is the monster version initially though, with a name that also means holy corpse apparently.
Quaeritis is one of 3 artifacts Fleur wielded that Maximus poured cursed soul power into.
Together, they make "Quem Quaeritis" which is latin for "Whom do you seek?" which is a line from a 10th century religious drama.
Why the hell does Maximus go through these hoops to do this, by that i mean what the hell does he get out of it?

Games use Catholic imagery all the time, especially JRPGs, and it's rarely censored, like in Atlus stuff or the various gachashit that slots in religious, historical, and mythical characters. The latter but it's very fun regardless. A proper non-hybrid Gren Maju banish deck with multiple wincons is rogue tier so it's pretty strong and good at squeaking out a lot of different wins, but it's moronicly expensive to the point where it's on par with Kaiju Luna for some builds.

I agree, the light blue honeycomb aesthetic of the background, and the design of the links themselves and the link rating are too cybery looking for a lot of cards. It'd be like if fusion cards all had some slimy tumory background to evoke mutations, or dna strands or something. It just wouldn't fit with 90% of fusion monsters.
It'd be cool if they made link arrows look different for some cards too. Like Relinquished Anima having a big red millennium eye for its arrow.
Yeah that's the whole point of the arrows, or at least it was initially. It's why cards like Traffic Ghost exist, more link arrows meant more spots for special summons in MR4.
I agree it doesn't fit well with some card archetypes but I still love how it looks, blue is my favorite color and the deep blue on Links is a little nicer imo than the light blue on Rituals.
Yeah, Links look nice. XYZs are the ugliest. Black does go with anything, but it's kind of a boring color to put on a border. It makes it look a bit drab.

Dunno. I've never tried those archetypes. I've used her in Spellbooks, since that deck has plenty of spells to discard and it's all spellcaster support. Fun fact: since her effect skips the equip spell's activation she can use some pretty crazy stuff, like pic related. But I don't think Rella actually improves any deck right now. She'd need something with more useful equips to work with. If Fairy Tail got some support with a good field spell that could switch Sleeper's battle position and some actually meaningful equip spells for Rella to use, that would be great.
Probably the prettiest of the Fairy Tail princesses.
As for your problem, I don't know if some kind of Noble Knights could work. Many Fairy Tails don't tend to work together, instead helping certain kinds of decks, as you may know. Sorry I couldn't help you more, Fairy Tail anon.

Because of the Bo1 format, you'll see a lot of the same decks. You need decks that fit 20 handtraps using a 1-card combo engine, so Swordsoul and Tribrigades run wild in ranked and thats all you will fight in the upper ranks

In terms of learning the mechanics, it has a tutorial that teaches you how summoning works.
Learning the meta is of course another thing on its own.
For learning decks, yeah you can just watch guides but depending on how niche your choice is, the number of resources changes.
At worst you can just watch TCG format vids and try to adapt it to MD if nobody made that deck specifically for MD.
Some decks are good enough that you can be ignorant of what other people do but it'll definitely bite you in the ass for some games if you don't learn how other decks operate.

Floodgates. Omninegates can be baited/forced out just by playing your deck. Floodgates require you to run cards specifically to deal with them, and then you have to luck into drawing them when you need them.

Omni negates only get cancer when your opponent can set up a board where they have negates more than or close to the number of cards you have in hand.
i'd say more than one omni negate is cancer because only meta can play through 2 disruptions unless the non meta deck opens good

I play Dark Magician DPE because as it stands now REDD is banned. It's also a Called by the Grave magnet and I suppose my 2 copies of Maxx "C" too. I'd rather lose the DPE than lose my Dark Magician, Dark Magical Circle and Eternal Soul set up.

I remember I told an anon on a month or two ago that cut Skill Drain to slot it back in because they were struggling a bit with DMs, not sure if it was you but glad to see some a DM deck make it that far
Not me but Skill Drain is core to the Dark Magician build as it only really hurts Magician's Rod and worse case you can ditch it via Magicians' Soul's effect as a cost. Once you get your Dark Magical Circle and Eternal Soul set up it's usually scoop city.
It's really funny really. Cards like Forbidden Droplet don't do jack to Dark Magician as it can only affect effect monsters and won't be used as Rush Recklessly. Skill Drain makes Imperm a brick and Ash to some extent. Maxx "C" at best will only get 1 draw. The point is despite its short comings there is some funny advantages.

I thought Reinoheart was dissolved (Tearalements Grief) after going full octopus and getting defeated (Tearalaments Crime), or at least that's what it looks like. There's a small possibility that the capsule contains his chibi version though.
Kshatriya Prepare would make sense as the conclusion of her clash with Unicorn in Tearalaments Scream.
