      Gamma World

These would be my two choices. Gamma World for those interested in playing out the adventures from the franchise. Thirsty Sword Lesbians for the enormous number of blue-haired sjw's, who put virtue signalling above either gaming or the franchise.

        Sword lesbos

Why is He-Man associated with sjws & lesbians? It came out long before that shit. He-Man is a literal male power fantasy.

Anyhow, the idea would be that the PCs are low level guys in Eternia, trying to make a name for themselves

There's multiple systems including Masters of Umdarr (?) for Fate and various homebrews. Megabloks makes cool minis to use.

Masters of Umdaar is a mess though turbo fate would be a good choice.
Masters of Umdaar offers some nice tables for randomization, if you want to play a campaign with a lot of what /tg/ would call freakshit.

I ran a campaign in and it made me realize that for a longterm game Genesys would be a better choice. For one shots and short campaigns turbo fate is sufficient although I would only grab MoU if you want the randomization for playable races and character creation.
If you go for Genesys include the heroic abilitys from the "Realms of Terrinoth" source book and if you want the race randomization from MoU add the one from the "Secrets of the Crucible" book. In general I would advice looking at the SotC book for content since the settings are very close.

And yeah, GURPS & Savage Worlds are obviously workable.

Under a Broken Moon or Barbarians of Lemuria for fairly light systems. There's also DCC under the Mutant Crawl Classics label if you want more crunch.

If you're okay with things being a bit silly you could play Cartoon Action Hour.

The games meant to emulate the structure and feel of a Saturday morning cartoon. You wouldn't be playing a game set in Eternia, you'd be playing a game set in a cartoon about Eternia.
