Incredible gunplay and combat. Still the best combat of any Rockstar game ever made. What's wrong with it? I know it's very different with the setting compared to 1/2 but it feels like a Max Payne game but with great combat.
Unironically I like the characterization of Max in 3 and I enjoy the story. People say it isn't Noir but it does interlink and connect and wrap around. Plus the Gunplay is the strongest of the series.
I honestly can't remember 1 and 2 that well, I know I enjoyed them but I really want to replay them. I love Max Payne 3, I replayed it a few times and it still holds up.
2 is the best one. 1 aged badly. 3 isn't max payne, just a typical console shooter of that time where you sit behind some kind of cover and shoot npcs peeking from behind cover, totally defeating the point of bullet time. if 1 gets a remake it would be on par with 2.
2>1>3
I like 3 quite a bit, but I still dislike how they handled Max. He went from seemingly moving on and accepting the loss of his family at the end of 2 (amazing ending), to a depressed, painkiller addicted alcoholic in 3. And the resolution to it didn't feel nearly as satisfying or emotional as it did at the end of 2. Writing in general felt more GTAish
I think they handled it well. Especially considering he lost Mona, murdered Winterson without knowing she had turned on him. Not to mention he was a mass murderer. I think realistically all things considered they took the right direction. I mean I would probably be a Depressed Pill Popping Alcoholic if I went through half the shit Max went through.
2>1>3
Cutscenes kill 3
1 3 2
cutscenes were used as loading screen there was no choice
2>3>1
Love Mona
>Max Payne on consoles
Xbox was better than PS2 but still.
1 > 2 > 3
when are they remastering the first 3
Remedy is remastering 1+2 as a single game right now.
Max Payne 3 is the best.
It was downhill for Remedy afterwards.
2>1>3.
3's terrible location and non stop cutscenes ruin it.
3 > 2 > 1
not a zoomer btw
3 = 1 > 2
I honestly love all three, but the third game I've learned to love more as the years have gone by.
1 > 2 > 3 for me, but I think Ganker's consensus is 2 > 1 > 3.
Why do Gankertards like MP3 so much? It's okay but seriously flawed and definitely not as good as 1 and 2

>Incredible gunplay and combat.
I've watched MP3 videos and it looks like the first two games but with 7th gen graphics.
What makes it so Incredible?
while the unskippable cutscenes are a massive drag, its probably the single greatest 3rd person shooter from a gameplay perspective

Ganker loves moviegames
I honestly can't remember 1 and 2 that well, I know I enjoyed them but I really want to replay them. I love Max Payne 3, I replayed it a few times and it still holds up.
2>1>3 is the correct order
2 is the best one. 1 aged badly. 3 isn't max payne, just a typical console shooter of that time where you sit behind some kind of cover and shoot npcs peeking from behind cover, totally defeating the point of bullet time. if 1 gets a remake it would be on par with 2.
1>>2=3
1 is pretty much the perfect video game
1 > 3 > 2
1 > 2 > L.A. Noire >>>>>>> 3
L.A. Noire never getting a sequel is a crime againtst humanity. There is evil holding back further development of the best franchises, i swear.
I don't care much for LA noire but it did give us these two videos so i can't really complain.
You frick young boys, anon?
2>1>3

Thoughts on the new HEALTH album?
I really like the Godflesh sample on Sicko, the video is also pretty decent with all those scenes from old amateur horror movies.
I like 3 the most and 2 the least.
3=1>2
but only by a little bit
they're all kino in their own way
Degenerate.
MP1 is the only good one. MP2 just feels like a knock off and 3 is simply shit.
1 = 2 = 3
all are good and worth playing
Mogs Max Payne 3 in every conceivable way
The only thing about that game that mogs 3 is the cover art.
1&2
if you like 3 you are sub human
Do you think James McCaffrey got to record his lines for the remakes in time?
no way. the only thing he might have prerecorded was alan wake 2 dlc.
they're probably going to change the voice actor. there would be incredible backlash for ai voice.
Doesn't Rockstar own the IP now? That's pretty much why the Alex Casey character exists
Gameplay 2 > 3 > 1
Everything Else 1 > 2 > 3
