No, the other maps are fine, the problem with new shatter is there are only 2 entrances to the pits which means you are pinching yourself to attack one that isn't attached to your spawn. Old shatter had 3 HUGE pathways into each pit area so all 3 teams could show up.

hilda was always a very minor character who inexplicably had a unique model. she's in hw's main story for 5 minutes before they ran out of things for her to do. fordola got more screentime and development than her before we ever went east.

The Studium quests did establish that Zodiark being gone is causing aether to return to a sort of equilibrium which is ultimately good long term but is fricking things up short term.
I do hope they do more with this lifestream serpent thing. I'm more optimistic since there was a legit ouroboros in the background of P12S.
You can see a relief of the Golden Dhyata on an altar in one of the dungeon previews too.
I can't remember if they say the Dhyata is specifically Allagan or leave open the possibility that it's older.

The entire instance felt weird and out of place. I actually think that patch 6.55 might serve as a new player experience for Dawntrail in that new characters can choose to create their character at that point in the story, and the instance will serve as a tutorial.

Gilgamesh trials weren't challenging but Kugane Ohashi could easily wipe the party and Ultros pre-nerf required you to observe mechanics and while Big Keep wasn't particularly dangerous it was entertainingly varied at least.

I used to off-tank Garuda and Titan EX on MNK using Skull Sunder, Fists of Earth, and Featherfoot. It was fun.
I remember people preferring the solo-tank route for Garuda EX, since the extra DPS can crossclass Provoke to manage the feather tankswap gimmick, and you could burn down one sister before the tethers mattered.

so i think white mage did very well in the relic department, as it usually does. probably the best track record. don't know if i prefer it over blade's mercy though.
