Leave Merlyn and just toss coin between Nina or Ivy. Tier 0 probably Cordy, 0.5 Florence Tier 1 Amleth and Merlyn. The rest probably scattered everywhere. Dunno about new character, but you probably need dupes and new limited usually hard to get.
I really wouldn't recommend it for the long run, but if you must then Ivy.

This might be my favourite witch lament so far. Everything about it just screams despair and suffering compared to the others that at least have some sense of hope.
I dunno, it sounds really underwhelming to me compared to the other laments.
I've learnt my lesson trying to kill a level 245 ophelia in the cave, pick % damage abilities so she cant get her 50% counter during the fight or don't even bother.
HP drain is more useful, especially for higher level Ophelia where you can't just bruteforce your way through her HP bar like that unless you're one of those JP megawhales with full level 400 metatron on Florence.

NTA, but the resource management isn't much since you only need to raise 5 character and link the rest. The endgame probably hard to access unless you're whaling since it takes so long for a character to reach the highest level due to resource gating.

You'll need more character. But you didn't have to grind to raise them since you can just link the level with your best 5 roster, you still need to give'em equip unless you want to rotate your equipment though.

The only resource gates that you've to worry is red orb. Unless you reroll thousand times to find perfect stats on weapons
I did notice that bottleneck. Shits annoying beyond belief and the only way to get a reasonable amount is getting hard carried in the temple of illusions when its open. Bless those gorillon bp dudes not caring about my 1m team in the 5-6 stars rooms.

Unless you can easily get a high rank in battle league, 100+ maybe idk, get the tree dew. You need 15 to UR a character weapon and another 50 to LR it. You won't be needing it for a really long time, but if you can't buy them frequently enough from league coins then they do show up in the shop from time to time, 5 of them for 2k if you prefer that option.
Or maybe it's not even in the event shop for you to buy? Tickets of chance and Lea's weapon parts were first in the shop list for me, so either you've already bought them or you don't see it because you're still too new, and if it's just not in the event shop for you then the dew might not be there too.

All of them are useful in the long run. SR shards are obvious. Holy augments will be very useful the moment you unlock augments. And event shops and event raids (this event has both) are the only way to reliably get tons of bronze keys to use the tons of bronze boxes you get from auto/quick battle.

Olivia's buff runs off her own stats, which makes her junk at higher levels unless you specifically build for her, and only megawhales can afford to build for anyone other than their main DPS. Merlyn's buff runs off the stats of whoever she buffs, which makes her particularly useful for mid and late game.
Isn't it always Merlyn though? I don't think any char has been powercreep her buff for pushing stage.
No point getting her here when you can get her in cave every month. If you diligently do cave every time it appears you should be able to buy both her and Cordie every month.

Weapon and glove. But make sure to spend some on boots to get at least 5.5% HP drain first. 0.5% + Chiffon LR arcana works too.
