If you want autism. You need either top dps(Florence/Cordie). And one of best buffer available(Fenrir/Merlyn). But it's fine to keep that. You probably get spooked along the way.

The problem with this shit is you need dupes to scale your character. So you can't really pump and dump. God I hate genshin for popularizing this dupes function. Now every games needs an actual dupe.
Fortina is a bait banner, she provides only healing and shielding and you can't increase her rarity without rolling her dupes, while the other supports give very strong buffs as well as heals AND are also farmable. Unless you REALLY like her or you're whaling you should avoid rerolling on her banner since the permanent banner has a soft pity at 30 rolls which gives you a random SR and the limited doesn't. I rerolled for 2 Fortinas and I don't use her anymore, I'd rather use Olivia.
I had to have her after reaching the kingdom that she UBW'd.

I don't know why Fenrir is included. I found her to be relatively useless when you're fighting enemies strong enough to kill you in 2 turns. Best use for her is probably guild boss, assuming she can survive all 10 turns.
Merlyn however is auto include because the crit buff for being adjacent to her is just too strong, especially for Florence. If you can put some decent SPD runes on Merlyn to make her faster than Cordie/Florence so she can provide them with the 30-40% atk (and crit dmg with unique weapon) buff then she will add a lot to your overall damage. Her dispel on Skill 2 is also very helpful against finishing off straggling Amleths.
Its to each of its own. Sometimes enemies just debuffs you to death and fenrir dispel will be useful. Not to mention if you build cordie, Amleth probably her best friend due to her guaranteed debuff and you want both of them to not get cc'd. And merlyn will probably need a lot of spd if she want to catch up to cordie. Florence probably better for her.

I'm not saying its good. But the approach of telling overall story bits by bits by every character kinda refreshing. The indexes giving short profile so you can check related character to them. The fact that you need to get those character is sucks though.
I thought I would care but I always skip the story in gachas anyway since I'm always in a rush to get the rewards. Still, I hope we get some events with stories tied to them, it could be an anthology type thing.

They didn't ban accounts that overly abused the Spacetime bug but suspended them for amount of hours equal to the number of uncollected red orbs. In the end anyone who didn't abuse the bug won out hard with the 100 2h red orbs. Accounts that didn't get over 100 2h orbs from the exploit didn't get suspended but didn't get any of the 100 2h red orbs everyone else got.
I think overall this was a pretty fair way of handling things.

Depends on your character class. But you don't really need sta for dps. I mean you can see the damage opponent done to you at the stage where you're stuck and ask yourself will 20k hp really help?

BP is fake you need a good team comp focused around 1 hyper carry with good runes on it (PM deaf break and some Speed)

This is essentially the 2nd half of Ch 18. The enemies massively spike in power and there's no way to overcome it without whaling really hard, only to come across another wall 2 stages later that tells you to spend another $5000. Even the biggest whales in all of the servers have not cleared all of Ch 18 yet.
Same goes for tower. The difference between floor 397 and 400 is something like a few hundred million to this.
That sounds like a death sentence and drop the game part for F2P players.
Where do you think it'll go? Will it all get nerfed as more content releases, and the big walls just end up becoming a sort of content gate to stop people from getting to the end of all chapters, or will they just hope whales are the only ones playing and everyone else quit?

We only got about 17k jims monthly assuming there's only whalefest event. F2p will probably need years to reach LR, and yet there's still moronic scaling with how you can goes beyond LR with LR+1, +2 until LR+7).
They are definitely going to nerf the difficulty. These walls highly imply that they don't have anything ready past ch 18 or Tower 400 yet. Once they update the game more they will remove the walls.
AFK Arena did the same thing iirc and this game copies a lot of what AFK Arena does. It just feels like they poorly planned about what to do about endgame if they have to resort to artificial walls to force whales to either AFK for months until F2Ps catch up to the wall or whale even harder if they want to get past. Doesn't help that gem gain is quite slow overall with the lack of actual events or other ingame activities when gems are tied to basically almost every point of progression. You need gems to roll gacha for dupes and fodder (or wait extremely long periods of time for enough friend points for fodder), you need gems to roll for the top gear, you need gems to roll Invocation gacha for specific dupes and kindling orbs, you need gems to buy dews from the shop unless you want to wait months/years to upgrade the rarity of your equips, etc. In other idle games I've played you could at least earn a lot of premium currency from guild war and spacetime but not so much here.

Phew, cleared 9 -28 after finding out that a combination of Illya, Soltina, and Ivy can potentially permanently stunlock A.A to death.
Basically Illya's 70% 2 turn stun + Ivy 30% chance to stun on basic attacks.
Soltina is optional but everyone should have her and she is there to pick up the slack if Illya fails to inflect stun. Though she'll only be able to do it for 1 turn.
Hope that Ivy can reliably stun A.A each turn so Illya's stun comes off of cooldown and stun her again for 2 turns.
If you have Fenrir, don't put her next to Ivy, you want Ivy to use her basic attack as much as possible. Otherwise, the other two units you can place can be whatever. Lunallyn and Moddey's poisons can be useful but haven't had any luck with the former because her MAG might be lower then A.A at lv 120 with no awakening.
The latter's poison is vastly weaker but 3% is 3%. That's still 84k damage each turn for 2 turns.
Cordie, Florence, whatever top tier dps is always relevant.

People have been mentioning Belle replacing Florence, but again we'll have to wait and see for the whales to max her out.
Why is Merlyn all the way in the bottom next to Olivia? Shouldn't she at least be next to Florence to buff her crit? Or is Florence's crit so high she'll never have an issue critting anyways?
At level 201 she gets 6% crit at the start of each turn that goes up to a max of 90%. So I guess he want to make Olivia hit hard since her skill 2 gives all allies a shield equal to 40% of its damage, making the team survive longer.

Looking at the endgame tab here has entirely killed my motivation to play. Frick this. I'm just gonna daily log-in and do minimum until Carol releases, get her and then frick off. Soltina is still pretty decently fast with a shield to make sure she can live to turn 2 to proc her stun.
Illya just has her 2 turn stun going for her and really mediocre damage. She's really only good against 1 character boss fights since being a R character means her base stats fricking suck compared to a SR.
Speed is all that Soltina has. I've never once seen her stun anything. All the stuns I've seen were inflicted by Illya.
This game really needs more story content. That abrupt end at chapter 1 and no more banter makes me unsatisfied
It's really bizarre and weird how they have decided to handle story. To begin with, the little bit of story you get in chapter 1 is bizarrely handled, you're just dropped in middle of some stuff with a bunch of characters, all of whom seem to know each other. But to us, nothing is told. Not even who the player is, or how he knows any of these people, what the hell even is the staff, where are we.
All of that is handled through characters' stories. Characters' stories are also how the "story" is delivered post-chapter 1. Illya's story will give us a backstory, who she is, what the staff is, what the curses are, who the player is. Iris will tell us more of the player's backstory and his position and disposition, a duke and someone friendly to witches. Soltina's story will tell us how the fight against Lunalynn went. Most of it is just her backstory, but a brief bit gives a summary of Lunalynn encounter. I imagine Belle will deal with Val's fight. Fenrir tells us exactly how the Cerberus encounter goes, even though literally no one has even reached Cerberus yet.
Instead of a proper story, we get summaries of witch encounters. We don't even get these summaries by, you know, progressing through the game, like you'd see with literally every other game. These summaries are all instead locked behind gacha. Which means you technically don't even ever have to progress in gameplay to keep getting story summaries. Just tiny little bits of summaries and they're gacha locked. You won't ever see interactions between characters, actually see events play out, only be told about events. Someone heard about "show don't tell" and decided to do the exact opposite of that for this entire game. This approach also means events don't mean jack shit. If this game ever even has events, they won't have stories. Which is a bold choice, to say the least.
You'd think a game like this would double down on story. People are only drawn to this for the characters and their songs.
Cerberus is reachable. The ones who aren't are Rusalka, Armstrong, and Efriede or something since those are ch 20, 23, and 26 iirc. Cerberus is 17 which quite a few spenders have passed already. 18 is the big wall.

Kek, my main game only had stories for one event type, and stopped bothering with that event type long ago because it was unpopular.

Was it Soul Tide?
In Soul Tide the event story actually played like a complete separate RPG. You get to use the characters that show up in that event whether you have them or not, they start out as lvl 1 and you have to grind EXP by fighting respawning mobs in that mode to actually get them high level enough to beat the event story. There's an instant skip for it, but it's only usable if you've leveled them way over the enemies. The thing is though, that once you start a new chapter, you can't leave until you've beaten the chapter at least once. So if it turns out you only overleveled the previous chapter by 2 levels instead of 5 or whatever, you're stuck very slowly fighting enemies in the new chapter until you're finally high level enough that the game decides you're allowed to instant skip the trash mobs now.
As you can imagine, that type was so unpopular they never did it again, and the event was so annoying that it literally killed the game on EN. The rewards were legitimately good too
I'll have to wait two more days for the orbs to level a character past lvl100 and I will still need 1500 (4days) orbs to do it for the fifth just to rise my level link to 120, the next step will need me to wait for at least a couple of months, this shit is dead on arrival, they wont give you a single orb even for clearing a story level, how many whales do they think will stick with this? No story, no events, everything just cost more exponentially, what a waste
They'll have to do something drastic to keep this thing going beyond the initial release period. At least in its current state, it's not looking good.

That's how far a seiyuu can carry, these characters literally have no interaction with (You) nor personality for them to create fanarts
Seiyuu can only carry you so far when the said seiyuu barely get to talk at all. Most characters in this game have fewer spoken words than the character limit on Ganker posts. One post's worth of dialogue, max. Most of it just telling you their backstory in a rather mundane way.

I don't know about you guys but it looks to me that Ophelia is the strongest limited in terms of utility since she has a taunt, damage/crit resistance, and lowers the enemy's chance to crit so that she doesn't die right away. Downside is that she's chaos so she doesn't give color attribute bonus and that you need lots of her dupes to raise her rarity. Still she might still be good in spite of all that.

At least until later on, no. F2P can use runes just fine. Best runes are Speed, PM. Def Break, ATK and Crit ones. You shove all of them onto one character you want to be your DPS, and then let them loose.

Yes. Not just in the case of ATK, same is true for HP. HP is better than Stamina. Not only are they better, but they're also generally more flexible and useful. For instance, if you have a level 9 ATK rune and a level 9 STR rune, you use both on, say, Florence, but if you're transferring to Cordie, the STR is useless while ATK remains just as useful. So in every way, ATK is superior to the raw stat runes like STR, MAG and DEX.
The only exception is when skills on certain characters scale based on how high those raw stats are, like some mage doing damage that's 400% of her MAG rather than ATK. But these characters aren't that useful generally. Never buy the raw stat runes.

ATK, PM. Def Break, Speed and Crit on all of your attack equipment. These are the four runes to maximize your damage output.
I don't know how much you're gonna whale, so if you have to prioritize between these, PM. Def Break and Speed > ATK and Crit.
That's Runes, but besides that, just in case, I'll ask about Augments just in case. You know Holy and Dark augments on equipment give some of these stats too, right? Like leveling dark augment on Armor gives you Def Break, which is the one you should prioritize?

Yeah, and Gauntlets for Holy too, because Crit Damage boost. And it's best to just get weapon/armor both to dark level 7~10, and then just start pumping armor for that Def Break as much as possible, getting it to 30s and 40s before going back to weapon. It's just much better.

And he couldn't do jack shit to stop all of them from being wiped out, just barely managed save Rosalie at the cost of his own life. Not a particularly hard legacy to overcome, if you ask me. All the current duke needs to do is save like 2 people from being wiped and while taking out a demon and it's already an improvement.

Florence needs full lvl 9 spd runes at higher stages to outspeed, all I know is I spent $1.5k to beat ch 18-17 with 43m bp with solo cordi while almost every other clear is near double my bp with 240+ flo and cordi, it is really efficient as long as you invest fully into def break armor lvls and only pm def break/spd runes, I can end rank 2 every day in NA w1 even. Also the 50% or less 2x dmg on s2 is what will make you win stages in late ch 18, I do like 33m aoe crits on 5 targets with it

There's not much in terms of gameplay since everything after you click battle is auto. Chars will have some skill rotation depending on their speed to decide their turn.
The battles are mainly turn-based RPGs where you and your opponent share a turn where the priority is based on each chara speed.

Gameplay is entirely auto, you don't control battles at all.
Battles have no sprites, only the animation you see in the youtube videos, so nothing else to be gained there from playing that wouldn't be found in just the video.
All battles are skippable, so primarily, gameplay consists of mashing that skip button on a battle over and over again until you get RNG that lets you win.
It's heavily P2W. You NEED dupes of gacha characters to progress, otherwise you're actually fricked. It takes up to 28 dupes to max a character. Almost everything in the shop requires gacha currency, few things that don't require you to be strong through gacha to earn said currency.
"Progress" for F2P will be stalled for weeks or even months depending on where you are, hoping one day you'll draw a dupe. Daily work will consist of just mindlessly skipping a few battles.
There's no events to keep you entertained. Like 4 different gacha characters a month to make you whale more. F2Ps cannot even hope to keep up(getting enough rolls to pity a character once every 2 months).
So here's what we're left with. No story. No battles or gameplay. Progression is impossible for F2P beyond a certain point. Dailies are mindlessly repeating the same skip button a few dozen times. Literally the only thing this game has to offer is a money sink. Do you hate your wallet? Then throw a few thousand dollars on this game to "progress." What do you get for progressing? Nothing. The progress is the reward :^) kind of shit system. Did any of that sound appealing? If so, this is the game for you.

I've been playing nikke, its unironically full of soul the only soulless shit it has is the standard idle game garbage but its got a story, the characters are endearing and fun to interact with, it has these little side stories of you texting your girls and having conversations with them full of typos and the standard text room dialect, the music is good, and has decent gameplay. I really love the aesthetics and the whole concept of Memento mori but they really dropped the ball with it in alot of aspects. I'm only playing still because I love the characters and music and thats all this game has. Making the gameplay be fully idle is what killed MM.

You can switch to a different world but you will have to start over. On the title screen (not home screen) tap on the world number and you can pick.
Personally I think it's better to play on a relatively dead world because the top PvP rewards are so good and you'll have a better chance of getting them with less competition.

No, keep all of those, you don’t need debuff acc even when you have cordi UW.
It's her Unique Weapon. If you want to remove, it's atk since it's probably doesn't matter when your base atk are like 200k. Anyway, debuff acc suggestion is just because it's useless on flo while cordy can utilize it.

You declare to attack some bases on preparation phase. Then raid the base with your homies with your squad when its time for you to attack. Also, you need to be top 16 on guild stock to even declare attack.

Buff merlyn is based on position and only single target unless your merlyn is level 200 or some shit.
I mean her Like Master Would do buff that she casts on turn 1 on the ally with the highest ATK.
Did you reforge florence equipment to strength? That's where usually the value atk gap lies between character.
