    Think I've got a hit.

It lists his grammar school as Toowoomba; under various activities he claims to have published a board game in 1985. Profile pic looks a little young to me but maybe contact him, see if he's the author.

I know my way around Toowoomba and I have never heard of any of this.

It cant be him then, mercenaire is not a board game

Profile tailoring. IDK if Australia was ever part of the Satanic panic, but 'board game' is friendlier than 'roleplaying game'.

Little bump. Occurred to me there were 2 leads in ; 'Virgin Group', the UK distributor. Is that the Richard Branson megacorp? Did they distribute any other /tg/ products back in the day?

Bump to keep this alive, but better do it in a janny-approved way!
How does social media influence your game world, tabletoply speaking?

Rampant online progressive leftism made me run my game as if I was running it in a Christian Church Backroom.
No edge, No emotional support safety tools, no religion, no relationships or love. Random name generator, the boys would laugh at anyone who brought in a pokedex entry on their level 1 character.

I play a game in a near future SCP/Delta green type setting. Social Media and managing it has become a pretty important part of the game and can have a large part in some sessions.

Zamn OP, you got a weird one.
That's clearly the guy, as he does have quite a few "TTRPG" stuff and has the military background to go with it. Guesstimating he wrote it on his off time or when he was bored at basic. Seller seems to be a a reseller of anything that looks vaguely neat. Probably picked it up at a flea market.

    Curiouser and curiouser.
