Something about how they could only improve some of the graphics by cutting back on other graphics for the Switch. Some hardware nonsense explained here. https://youtu.be/0oiIm5Ymu6s?si=ckyrdbiOJWhTYCw5
Yes. And on gamecube you had to use a controller with tank controls. It was kind of soulful because movement was more deliberate and like you actually were in a giant metal suit. The game actually feels a lot different since the motion control/dual stick option. I'm not saying either one is better but definitely different and the metroid prime from 20+ years ago is a much different metroid prime from today
>frees metroids from tube jail >hides in the other room and watches them suck the pirates dry >blows up the remaining metroids by walking through a door with one attached to your face
prime isn't so bad on hard except for the beam pirates at the end of the game. killing them takes forever and ignoring them hurts.
prime 2 has a ton of ass boss fights that last forever + Samus can get hit 2-3 times max. prime 3 isn't even in the running, the shitty DS game was harder.
i still say prime 3 in hypermode difficulty is the hardest, especially early on since hypermode enemies are nearly unkillable and will kill you extremely quickly unless you hypermode yourself, using up your resources
>except for the beam pirates at the end of the game.
You mean wave pirates specifically. The other three are fine because power and ice have good missile combos and plasma is strong enough on its own that its missile combo being shit doesn't matter. But there's absolutely nothing you can do about killing a wave pirate fast because wavebuster is fricking garbage. I really wish they had buffed it in the remake, piece of shit is fricking worthless.
I remember when Nintendo didn't ship this game to stores for weeks to promote their gay and fake rarity meme, people were buying Metroid Prime for $120 on ebay.
I've been confused about this for a while now so I'll just go ahead and ask OP: Do you mean Hard Mode or Hypermode? What even is it in the remaster? Because in Prime trilogy, Hard was just the real normal mode and hypermode was the actual hard mode.
>he doesn't know how to rapid fire missiles
sad!
They took out the rapid fire missile in the remastered version.
Wrong.
Is it done the same way as the gamecube one or is it different?
It's exactly the same.
>implying
I shiggydiggy.
>three generations of improvement in consoles
>still can't do simple lighting
HOW?
Video games have stagnated and even regressed in many cases.
>make a game run on old ass nvidia mobile tech
>wtf why does it use simple lighting!
are you moronic?

>single player FPS hard mode
>everything takes forever to kill and has an aimbot for your head
Stop this.
Dragon milf from fire emblem
Is that fricking Dawn from Andaron Saga?
yeah
why
I wanted to post an image to bring attention to my post and Dawn is hot.
I love metroid prime but the hard mode is pretty shit
Isn't the hard mode exactly the same as the standard NTSC Metroid Prime for GameCube?

Are you serious? It's not that hard unless you're using motion controls.
It's not hard, it's tedious. I did it once for the unlock and won't touch it again.
2 is worse. Some boss fights are nearly 20 minutes.
I haven't died in this game in probably 20 years even on hard. Not even the boost guardian in 2 kills me anymore.
How can I be cool like you?
jerk off a lot.
Holy shit you’re like a god gamer! Can you send us all some of your shower water????????
>he thinks I shower
Lord I hope Prime 2 gets the same treatment.
The first Metroid Prime reminds me a lot of the N64 Turok games.
Same. It's why I like them so much.
The director did both.
Literally made by Turok devs who got sick of the publisher.
Playing right now and just noticed you can't use the plasma beam's flamethrower underwater.
>can’t use fire underwater
Hmmmmmmm
The explanation for everything is chozo magic lmao

3 is not even remotely close to being as difficult as 2, 2 on normal is more difficult than 3

>Buying from scalpers
They deserve it
Maybe so, but why does Nintendo do it, and especially on a product like this?
