Why does MH World have so many more players?

Rise is ugly, a visual cluttered mess and the grind is korean tiers of boredom.
The dogs get in the way , the positioning focused combat killed by wirebug jumps (and late mosters having rockets on their asses to match that)
I just hope that whoever worked on Rise doesnt get near the next game

Thanks for the daily thread. Here's the answer I'm giving you every thread: MHW has more players because it looks better and because of Chinese ERP

Every fricking day with this dumb thread. The playerbase is on the switch, it has a large Japanese userbase you stupid c**t.

        >The next game will be in the style of World.

They ain't going to go back to using the MT Framework engine to make Monster Hunter 6. All Capcom games now use the RE engine. Monster Hunter 6 It will have the same look and feel as as Rise, but with more graphical fidelity.

          >Monster Hunter 6 It will have the same look and feel as as Rise, but with more graphical fidelity.
The frick does that mean? Rise is just world with PS2 era graphics. You think they're gonna keep the feudal Japan aesthetic?

this is pure cope lmao. there are far, far more TA speedruns by japs for world & iceborne than there are for rise & sunbreak which gives you a good metric

sunbreak is too easy which kills longevity

Yea thats what makes a good game lots of speed runners. Hope world fans are ready for palamues, wirebug style moves and a faster pace of combat to stay.

oh no no no no no the nintendo defense force is not going to like this

Why is it always an attack on Nintendo, most people enjoy all the MH games, world fans are insufferable. Yea spiribirds are aids but clutch claw sucks too.

          >but clutch claw sucks too.

Clutch Claw wasn't World's problem. Tenderize was, ruins the whole game. Remove it and it goes from a 5/10 game to a 9/10.

I haven' played it since, but didn't one of the last patches in Iceborne help with the clutch claw bullshit? Like increase tenderize time and a new skill or something, did any of that make a real difference?

world not having absolutely fricking dogshit multiplayer that makes you feel like you travelled back in time 20 years helps, also that world & iceborne are far better games, sans the fricking godawful clutch claw

Combat was better in Rise. Both World and Rise are worse than 4.

Getting to Anomaly level 300 in Sunbreak is fricking boring and there isn't much incentive to keep playing besides bragging rights

The anime style system has always seemed very out of place.

Based and same. The monsters they added where great. While Valor dodge was broken the Valor movesets where great. The sheer amount of content, and the endgame is the best the series has to offer.

World went too casual. Wich is why it has more casuals playing it.
Rise got more casual and arcade like as a result of World.

Monster Hunter fans have spent like 15 years convincing themselves that it's a good thing that the games are clunky pieces of shit.
Of course they don't like a game that actually addressed that.

Both are SHIT. I just want a challenging game not some moronic baby tier game with 1000 gimmicks. The series became casualized trash since Portable 3rd.

So why are you so obsessed with people playing games instead of playing them yourself?

because it influences the games that come next? I just want to be able to sharpen my weapon while running, is that too much to ask?

MHW was busy but had lots of thing to compensate for.

Rise feels just too arcade and a visual clutter. I like to feel as a hunter going into nature, watching the scenery, immersing myself in the game. That's what I liked in MHF when I began to play. Game was rather minimalist in terms of its presentation, and the gameplay was solid.

Rise ruins that for me. There's - can't believe I'm going to say that - TOO MUCH gameplay elements. Screen is cluttered, zones are full of interactables, zones do not feel organic like MHW does.

I like the nature in MH games, and this game does not feel very natural. I used to dislike armors being a bit too sober in MHW at first, but I realise long term it's not that bad.

Rise is too dificult for most casual players. World is more a cinematic game with less need for reactions or knowledge of the monsters attacks

    >What went wrong?
Both games are shit. World stared it so World is what went wrong.
    >Why does MH World have so many more players?
Some shit games blow up in popularity and some don't.
