They will be releasing Starfield and all future Microsoft games on PlayStations in the future. They tried to have Xbox exclusive games on consols to get more people to buy Xbox, but it only resulted in 2/3 of the market being unable to purchase their game.

There's no incentive. The Xbox user base doesn't buy games.
Probably not in the short term. Partly because Sony wants to present themselves as the winner of le console war, partly because we don't know how long Xbox's hardware business has left. If Xbox's upcoming "adorably all-digital" console can keep itself alive then it'll probably happen in the future.
Realistically they'll just turn the xbox into a full on windows machine and gradually move away from making hardware. consoles are a loss leader and the xbox already runs on windows anyway.

Now that everything is backwards compatible nobody is going to ditch their whole library to play an exclusive on xbox.
