I do wish I could get into it, though. The story was frickin awesome and I played up until the blonde guy did his thing to the tree.
The problem is honkai impact both powercreeps its characters AND weapons
you have to spend more money than the game is worth to enjoy the extra modes

too much powercreep also=no fun, but that's a problem genshin will NEVER have in it's lifetime, and no c6 does not count. when you say "x powercrept x", usually it's a minor sidegrade at best until c6. the last character that was actual powercreep at c0 was nahida, well over a year ago, and before that...maybe ganyu? and before that nobody, that's the extent of powercreep in genshin other than maybe post-change zhongli for comfy gameplay, which they eventually took away by introducing damage that bypasses shields.
