It did not. It's been proven countless times that it doesn't delete save files, the only one that does is in yellow version and that one even took MissingnoXpert a lot to get it. You doing it at 7 would be laughable at best.

In Pokemon RBY, there are 39 Missingno. and only 1 can corrupt your game so hardcore that it crashes and eats your game but that one is so hard to get that as I said earlier that Even MissingNoXpert had trouble getting it.
In yellow version, there's 1 MissingNo. That has a 12 minute cry.

It's sad that these kinds of "global glitches" which can affact Input, Visuals, Gameplay and Audio simultaneously kind of died out with the seperation of memory areas. On a usual computer, you can't even directly access the VRAM, it's all through DirectX / Vulkan / OpenGL through the video card driver.
