in the end wow is game for prime autist that grind through 1 corridor for 6 months and call that progress
furthermore every blizztroony should be hanged
WoD was the odd shift into "You're the Chosen One now and everything revolves around YOU," territory. You were no longer a soldier fighting larger-than-life villains as an army; suddenly you're the only hope for your people/world/cosmos/reality and every step of the way the NPCs are just there to make sure you haven't lost your massive power trip erection.
Not to mention if you try and do literally anything not in the order it wants you to play you get “you’re leaving the mission zone!”

Warlords thematically was unironically KINO
Just wish they focused more on the clans for more than the first patch, they went straight into gul'dan legion wank way too quickly
>no talent tree >gorillions of gorillions of dailies >most raids are meh >most dungeons are meh >plot is shit >furgays: the expansion
It was better than Cata, that's for sure.

Was it?
NO!!!
More proof that the only reason anyone thinks MoP is a "good" expansion is because pandas make their dicks hard. Any other excuse is a poor attempt at obfuscating from the real reason for their nostalgia.
More proof that the only reason anyone thinks MoP is a "bad" expansion is because pandas make their dicks soft. Any other excuse is a poor attempt at obfuscating from the real reason for their nostalgia.
All of the MoP original content was really fun and soullful, but the faction conflict stuff was possible at its worst in this expansion. That fricking intro quest in the jade forest where the game thinks it's fricking CoD or something was just the goddamn worst but the second your quest givers start being Pandas it gets awesome.
Top tier raids, but man the stupid fat frick pandaren silhouette killed any narrative tension. Who the frick is going to take an entire race of Jack Black cartoon fricks seriously? Especially with the eye-taping fake chinaman voice shit:
"Slow down" x F
Dracthyr are way worse than Vulpera.
The downside with Vulpera is we didn’t get based Sethrak along with it, we got shitty gnomes instead.
Dracthyr could have been cool but they made them look like someone’s e621 art
>Entire first patch is time gated daily rep grinds with dailies locked behind other reps and you need to reach a certain point just to unlock your valor vendors >Second patch is more fricking dailies and an achievement minigame for fist weapon heirlooms >Third patch was a half decent raid with a hardmode challenge for warlocks to unlock greenfire >4th and 5th patches were gay filler >Spec/Talent rework ruined class identity, turned 10(11 with monk) classes into 23 DPS specs, 5 tanks, and 5 healer specs >Turned 5 man content into speedrun fodder, most worthless dungeons in the game's history as you got valor capped just by doing dailies anyway >Welfare gear everywhere >Everyone praises the class design, despite the fact everyone's class identity was ripped out of their class kits in MOP >Everyone praises the PVP for being 'balanced', only think this because healing was so braindead and overpowered and every class had 10 defensives that you litterally could not die, blizzard had to hotfix in dampening just so Arena matches didn't come down to who's healer had to poop first >First expansion where you couldn't just raidlog, had to keep up with chores every patch to keep your ilvl high due to excessive welfare gear with high ilvl availability >Blizzard's method for combating gold sellers was to make gold worthless
Lots of problems with the game, wrath babs loved it because it was the first expansion where you could do everything without ever having to talk to another player.
I never did dailies. Ever since their inception I didn't think it'd be fun to do the same thing every day, so I didn't. I heard there were too many though, which made people feel pressured to do them, especially for rep. Let's not forget about the YEAR of Siege of Orgrimmar either. For those two reasons at least, I can see why people don't like it.
But I fricking loved Pandaria. For one tanking was great. It was the start of more personal responsibility for tanks and they erred on the tank side, so it felt really powerful. Warrior in particular was a lot of fun. And then hunting rares was really cool because they had mechanics you actually had to worry about. It was fun and rewarding solo content. As an engineer there was good money in sky shredders eventually too. Reforging was cool, I miss that.
I liked the Pandas, and Pandaria in general. Maybe it's because I had always played a gnome but I never took the game very seriously. So the more lighthearted tone to everything suited me just fine.

Didn't even feel like Warcraft anymore. Cata was quite the departure already but MoP was the confirmation that WoW is now forever unrelated to the RTS games.
Is shadowlands as bad i keep hearing it is? A friend of mine told me it isnt bad but he's legit the only person I've heard anything positive about it from.
>turned a single joke character from warcraft 3 into a whole xpac >came out right after the kung fu panda movie >raped the talent trees >new talent trees where the same for all 3 of your specs >was the start of sticking mount recolors to everything as 'content' >solidified LFR and having 4 difficulty tiers of the same raid >made freebie legendaries the norm
I could keep going, MoP had so many issues and it fully deserves all the hate. Nobody wanting to play MoP private servers is further proof that the xpac is worthless.
>people seriously saying good raids like they were all noteworthy
It had 2 good raids out of a frickton, all non ToT or SoO raids were generic as frick to boring. What the frick are you guys smoking. The raid lock system was also at its worst during MoP so you were generally stuck with the boring ones for longer.
Cata+ gameplaywise with only one unique zone, the rest were just chinkified vanilla zones
Shitty raids till last two patches
Worst talents ever
On top of Cata's garbage class designs, enforced two hour long pre potting for every class even if you had nothing in the past
The Wrathion questline
Cata basically dropped the bar to the floor and the devs went full chinamode to sell as many copies in asias as possible. No joke they even bragged about it when it happened.
I quit the game because of dailies. It was just ragequit. I hated that i should do them instead of playing the game and leveling my alts, ehat was stupid because you also needed do dailies on them too. I was NEET and even I didn't want to waste time on it.
After game became better but i still remembered those dailies
I didn't mind a few dailies but now it's most of the fricking game. Just world quests and speedrunning the same linear af dungeons on repeat as an "esport"
It was offensive and insulting. The panda cinematic tells all. The city hub was also annoying.
Both alliance and horde are accused of fighting each other and “being evil”. They are living on an island and it’s like a diversion from the real story about Arthas, which they never return to and they claim he is gone, like Nu-Disney killed off Buzz Lightyear, Han Solo and other characters. They wish they could kill Darth Vader but the Vader actor died and thank God the Vader story arc redemption already is complete so they can’t do anything to it except make up fan made side stuff that is debatable if it even really happened in the original dimension, like with Cal Kestis. The pandaran have their own demons and it goes into Buddhist religion stuff which also took hold on our own horde and alliance classes, which upset and stressed us out, especially holy priests because of the auras and stuff. It wasn’t even like Warcraft 3 anymore, I felt like the game was possessed and everyone I used to play with all stopped playing and went back to irl.
This meant the game went on for far too long for most people, and it was getting too old. And for people like me who didn’t mind that it was getting old, it just wasn’t as great as wow used to be. There is a song, and the lyrics are “the thrill is gone.”
It’s like American McGee’s Alice. The first one was great. The second one robs the game and takes it to China.
Vlad the Impaler / Vlad Dracula Vampire isn’t funny.
Gameplay was fun but it was the turning point for turning WoW into pixar shit. They tried to redeem it a bit with WoD but once the remodels came, it was fricking over. The game hasn't had a good art direction ever since.
why is the game just a rush to get to endgame then poopsock the epic gamer raids
bump

pandas are gay as frick, no matter how "based" you think its raids are
like every npc in wod/legion didn't look like it walked out of a gay bdsm club, nipple rings included

I just remember dailys, that shitty farm you had to constantly grind and the setting looked like shit.
The farm was completely optional
Frickin dailies and shit lore
shitter problems, i had real epics not welfare
>Frickin dailies
BC was worse, but oh wait, that was babbies first expansion and did no wrong.
>babbies first expansion
Bro it was literally the first expansion
I'm not even taking the bait, go back.
Been here longer than you, homosexual
dailies made me want to kill myself.
The zones and raids were great though.

I remember doing like 2 pet battles and thinking that entire system was crap. I can't believe there are people that do nothing but pet battles.
Being able to trade them around too kind of took the fun out of collecting them as well.
I never did dailies. Ever since their inception I didn't think it'd be fun to do the same thing every day, so I didn't. really all you'd miss out on was one normal epic item at the start of the tier
It wasnt.
Being a warlock during MoP was the most fun I ever had with the game
Same with resto shaman tbh, man that spec was busted I still get sad I never got gladiator
>really good raids
>probably the best class/spec design since forever
I liked it

stormforge is going strong, mop's big problem is it sits on top of cata and everyone fricking hates cata content
>joke character
Chen wasn't a joke character
>people seriously saying good raids like they were all noteworthy

Why do people hate cata again?
It definitely was a step down from wotlk but it was way better than anything that came after (except maybe legion)
Throne of Thunder was pretty cool
I
AM BORN
OF THUNDER
Better than cata and wod.
Panda character was cool as one unit in WC3.
Making an entire expansion look like china with that cool.
*was not cool
kung fu panda was gay
>Everyone in my guild said they were going to quit when it was announced
>None of them did
the classic wowcuck dilemma
Cata basically dropped the bar to the floor and the devs went full chinamode to sell as many copies in asias as possible. No joke they even bragged about it when it happened.
Cata had a lot of great content, the monetisation was fricking gay though and Deathwing/LFR patch fricking ruined the xpac.
it wasn't and all the people who complained it was childish are the ones to blame for why wow is now written like a 15-year-old's anime fan fiction.

mop's cinematic is kino, orcs and humans, pure warcraft and not faction leader capeshit
Anyone who uses the word capeshit with Warcraft is automatically a moron for combining marvel movies for comparison with Warcraft videogames.
you can thank metzen the israelite for shitting israelite capeshit all over warcraft
Yes, it's a filler expansion just like everything betweek WOTLK and Legion, as well as everything after it
Gameplay was fun but it was the turning point for turning WoW into pixar shit. They tried to redeem it a bit with WoD but once the remodels came, it was fricking over. The game hasn't had a good art direction ever since.
