Thanks anon, it took more than ten tries but I finally beat it. honestly I usually give up if I can’t beat something in less than 5 tries but your tip about staying away from its feet really helped
ER's world design is very similar to DS2 in the overall structure of it so not too surprising.The first half of both games is very open and can mostly be done in whatever order you like once you get some knowledge about the game, then narrows into a single path (Drangleic Castle in DS2 and Leyndell in ER) for the final stretch of the game. There's also other smaller things like power stancing and twinblades, but what DS2 had ER tends to improve on
