This game is like a group of soulless bugs with no understanding of what makes a game appealing gathered in a basement to make a bunch of spreadsheets glued together with premade fantasy assets. Truly horrendous.
Both have decent art direction, though Diablo has a far more memorable one. Hence why anyone would be able to point out Diablo art from a mile away but would struggle to know Torchlight from many similarly styled games.
Nobody could even tell this game apart from a basic asset flip though.
Are you a coping artist? No one else cares about "art direction" and D3 is an abomination that is hard to look at when one has played even something older like Titan Quest before.

I was speaking out against "art style", not aesthetics. Graphics as in resolution and detail are extremely important but the former brought us the blurry mess that is D3.

Hyper detailed shit is irrelevant if the art style is not on point. It's why TLOU is eaten like trash food while talking about looks while similarly hyperreality crap is forgotten in a millisecond, like most Ubishit shovelware.
I'm playing a fire necro too, just got the chest that gives you 2 more golems in exchange for the skellies. Swapped to a permanent abomination too but I feel like it's a bit useless, might get more mileage out of swapping in 2 permanent wraiths and just spamming puke zombies.

And it's not just meteor, Blizzard also looks like a rain of blue needles. How the frick did they manage to make them look worse than D2 and D3 combined?
How come every diablo "mogger" has never beaten the numbers d3 had during the launch? The game had one noteworthy expansions since then, and it is conaidered to be the worst diablo.
