I hate that this dude gets praise, he was in charge of Outerworlds which was dogshit (if you do not belive me go and refresh your memory by rewatching perhaps the stalest 'final boss' battle in history) god what a shit and empty game why do people like it.

him, Sawyer and Avellone are concrete proof that a game studio is the sums of its parts and that these 3 morons are nothing without the code monkeys and writers working together with them.
the main writer of NV wasnt even any of them, it was Gonzales, and he doesnt get any reddit following like they do

maybe so, I haven't played that.
but his random dev tidbits help me a lot working on my own game rn.
might be more of a "do as I say, not as I do" type situation, but he's no dummy.

That I agree with, a lot of his lessons are valuable and quite mature in some sense, shame hes too weak of a character to implement any of them in his own life.
They could've been decent if they reprogrammed the synths into good people or some shit, but they insist on wiping their memories and making them think they're just average joes.
Eeh. Caesar and House are more interesting. He would've stood out in New Vegas though and a far harbor esque storyline who definitely be a big highlight in New Vegas. He wouldn't be the best character though
>like what if you were a replicant? >(B) I’m not >yeah, but what if you were a replicant?
Thrilling writing. If only Ridley Scott and Philip K Dick had half as much brain damage as Emil.
I like Deacon though. And I thought it was an extremely on the nose allegory for racism/slavery. To the point where there are very few human slavers to be found despite being pretty common throughout practically every other Fallout game. They didn't wanna muddle their message of synths = slaves and Desdemona & co are Harriet Tubman by including "normal" Fallout slavery in any major way (until the Nuka DLC I guess)
But then I don't see trannies in absolutely everything like so many of you do now
Is it really? Felt like there was enough to show that the Synths and letting them live was ultimately a bad thing because they were taking other people's personalities and Far Harbor emphasized this more by showing how the Railroad reprogramming them messes them up and can cause them to do bad things. So the best thing is for them to not exist at all.
>the Railroad reprogramming them messes them up
No it doesn't. If you're talking about that chick with the brain problems, that was Dima's helper that did that by trying to "fix" her. The synths given new lives and a place in the world by the Railroad are, in the vast majority of cases, just fine.
You are an idiot. Synths are an allegory for Black folk. >synths are made by wealthy to be slaves for them >Black folk are imported by wealthy to be slaves for them >synth masters refuse to see them as humans because they build them >Black person masters refuse to see them as humans because skin color >a movement called railroad helps synths escape from institute and become free >a movement called underground railroad helps Black folk escape from cotton farms and become free
The only thing that one could consider "troony" about synths is whole "new personality" shit that railroad does, but this is clearly an allegory on fake ids or whatever that real world railroad probably gave to saved Black folk (I dunno, not in a mood to read up on this any further), and also a shitty attempt to provide an argument why synths are not humans ("you can easily overwrite their personality, so there, not human").
And it's shitty because technology involved is complex enough that it could just as well be something to brainwash actual flesh-n-blood humans into believing they are someone else. It could work if synth could on a whim "switch" personalities, which is clearly not the case, as previous personality along with all memories is erased for good.
Is it just me or did they use Dima to showcase the different mindsets about anti-racism, with the Railroad representing the more sane 'we're not different, let's all learn to fit in with eachother and find common ground to facilitate assimilation into a greater whole' angle with Dima representing the modern resentment toward that with a more isolated pessimistic view of 'acknowledge and celebrate my differences while I align my in-group in contrast/peaceful rivalry to yours, we can get along and form alliances but we will always be separated and always treat one another as alien/"the other" on some level' sort of approach? The way he disliked the Railroad gave me that vibe. Another reason I didn't like him much.
Why do zoomers love this shitty Point Lookout knock off? The writing is meh and they try to gaslight you into think your an android. Which is a rip of of Bladerunner and they didn't even do anything interesting or new with it.
fr fr doe ong no cap bruh ong fr fr bussin yeet fr ong no cap
why was the railroad so moronic?
Because everything in Fallout 4 was moronic.
Railroad is exceptionally bad though.
Synths are Black folk and railroad is zoomer white BLM worshipers.
Yeah I can see that.
So does that make Arthur's BoS chapter the KKK?
Proud boys.
>"Proud Boys"
was it homosexuality?

That makes more sense. So what is Covenant?
>post-apocalyptic world where every man is out for themselves
>would you le die for a synth
frick no dude. What were they thinking?!
They could've been decent if they reprogrammed the synths into good people or some shit, but they insist on wiping their memories and making them think they're just average joes.

Brought him in to face justice. It was the only right choice. Nothing positive will come of coexistence built on bad faith and lies.
He'd just keep murderhoboing anyone that showed up that he deemed a bad influence on their respective communities.

youre being reductive
wasnt there some kind of new test about pretending if you ate breakfast or not?
The SAFE test is bogus in all its forms. It's essentially Fallout astrology. But even less likely to provide any relevant insight.
>[Intelligence 2-] I did eat breakfast though.
Anon how would you feel if you didn't eat breakfast this morning?
When I realized that the whole synth thing there was an allegory for trannies, I shot up the whole place.
go outside

It isn’t, if it was it would’ve been more obvious and you wouldn’t been able to destroy the railroad.

Are you talking about DiMA OR MALCOM X????????? (i had to wait a while to make this post)
Heh (I got that too earlier then the captcha seemed slightly different for a while)
The best FNV character is YOU <3
Thanks for reminding me that Guilty Gear is dead to me. Hated what they did with Dizzy after #Reload anyway.

>Why yes, I WILL solve the synth inequality problem by killing people and replacing them with synths.
if FO3 fans are pajeets, NV fans trannies. then what are FO4 fans?
normalgays
Synths
furries
16 year olds with broccoli hair
16 year olds with broccoli hair don't have the attention span to play bethesda games
I killed them all. I do what‘s best for humanity and Synths are a rival un-life form competing with us.
I literally can't even remember who this is.
>I forgor XD
He is as moronic as Shaun.
A very blatant shill thread.
>shill
what am i selling exactly
A pile of shit known as Fallout 4.
Far Harbor was great, the best part of all Fallout 4, but lets be honest, the DLC is on pair with any other New Vegas DLC.
i like it more than OWB honestly
