No it doesn't, it's a much worse remake than Kiwami 1. K2 is so bad of a remake that it actually makes me appreciate K1 more in hindsight because at least that game had the justification of being a total conversion mod of 0 that they charged 30 bucks for.

Okay that was pretty kino, and it got me. Adachi was a good recast over the OC, but holy fuck the Aizawa boss that preceded it was genuine aids, the Watase one too with the lightning card attack, they really went out of their way to make bosses completely unenjoyable in this game.

It's complete trash just like JCC, except it gets in the way of actual content. The gravure shoots are terrible but at least you don't have to wander around the city collecting the conversation choices by hand in order to fight amon.

I don't understand the hate surrounding this game overall. I thought it was a good game even with the combat changes and despite some annoying moments in the story I had plenty of fun overall
