Demo datamine showed a lot of weapons got negative elemental multipliers changed to at least neutral and a lot of shit like Lance and the new combo GS switch skill get elemental bonuses

My main issue with the Magna we got really is it's fatass top-heavy look. It's basically the same as Zinogre, who also doesn't reall feel like an actual wolf. A design closer to an actual tiger would be far more unique for MH as we don't have any true cat monsters, just vaguely cat-like ones.

Bone dragon was barely a fight against a cuttlefish. Half the fight is boney tentacles and a big shell. His cuttlefish face doesn't even come out most the time.
They could just start him off in his face reveal phase like his G-rank fight. They could even revamp him a little by letting players use wirebugs to get on his back and attack his weakpoint to force him out of his boney phase.
He is still a boring fight like pretty much all large monster fights. Most his body is submerged the entire fight and you only ever "fight" his tentacles. His body exists only to swim into you or beam near the end. All enemies where you "climb" on them to hit stationary shit is boring design and needs to be removed. It ruins the pace of the fight and makes for terrible movesets. Like the stupid mecha phase of mantis is boring and useless despite being a cool spectacle. They do this shit all the time like the first phase of sound dragon in IB, boring as frick all despite the 2nd phase being really cool.
True, that fight was giga kino, but I've already beat that fricker a million times both solo and with friends

Thinking of picking up Sword and Shield for the first time in Sunbreak and learning it. SnS mains, could you give me any advice on armor or armor skills to look out for besides the generic offensive ones like attack boost, WE, Crit Boost, etc. Do you prefer elemental, status, or straight RAW? Which are the best to start out with, I've got materials galore so crafting won't be an issue besides maybe running out of cash.
Hmmm, is status good for SnS in general? Used to use DB for elemental damage so switching between the two depending on the monster's weakness could prove to be quite fun actually. SnS for status and DB for Elements
I go raw and just shield bash everything. Hitting with the shield doesn't actually use any sharpness so you don't need sharpness boosting skills so I run max attack boost, crit eye, crit boost, WEX and then just speed sharpening for good measure. It's super easy to build.

The raknoids that hop on-and-off rakna's back during her fight probably have a different set of animations and AI than the small ones that just hang around in the map. There was probably a bug that caused them to start behaving like normal small monsters.

Why has Qurupeco been banished to the shadow realm? He is one of the ONLY good bird wyverns in the entire series. They keep bringing back boring ass prey/jaggi ones as starter mobs or inventing new versions of those like stupid egg raptor or tail raptor but Qurupeco is superior to all of them and never comes back.

My main issue with the Magna we got really is it's fatass top-heavy look. It's basically the same as Zinogre, who also doesn't reall feel like an actual wolf. A design closer to an actual tiger would be far more unique for MH as we don't have any true cat monsters, just vaguely cat-like ones.

Bone dragon was barely a fight against a cuttlefish. Half the fight is boney tentacles and a big shell. His cuttlefish face doesn't even come out most the time.
They could just start him off in his face reveal phase like his G-rank fight. They could even revamp him a little by letting players use wirebugs to get on his back and attack his weakpoint to force him out of his boney phase.
He is still a boring fight like pretty much all large monster fights. Most his body is submerged the entire fight and you only ever "fight" his tentacles. His body exists only to swim into you or beam near the end. All enemies where you "climb" on them to hit stationary shit is boring design and needs to be removed. It ruins the pace of the fight and makes for terrible movesets. Like the stupid mecha phase of mantis is boring and useless despite being a cool spectacle. They do this shit all the time like the first phase of sound dragon in IB, boring as frick all despite the 2nd phase being really cool.

Thinking of picking up Sword and Shield for the first time in Sunbreak and learning it. SnS mains, could you give me any advice on armor or armor skills to look out for besides the generic offensive ones like attack boost, WE, Crit Boost, etc. Do you prefer elemental, status, or straight RAW? Which are the best to start out with, I've got materials galore so crafting won't be an issue besides maybe running out of cash.
Personally, I've always been a fan of sleep SnS bombing. Need to pack a bunch of fire herbs and barrels though.
Hmmm, is status good for SnS in general? Used to use DB for elemental damage so switching between the two depending on the monster's weakness could prove to be quite fun actually. SnS for status and DB for Elements
Bombing SnS is niche but is pretty good since SnS is the only weapon that can deploy bombs (or use items) without needing to waste time sheathing.
I go raw and just shield bash everything. Hitting with the shield doesn't actually use any sharpness so you don't need sharpness boosting skills so I run max attack boost, crit eye, crit boost, WEX and then just speed sharpening for good measure. It's super easy to build.

The raknoids that hop on-and-off rakna's back during her fight probably have a different set of animations and AI than the small ones that just hang around in the map. There was probably a bug that caused them to start behaving like normal small monsters.
