Most people think of Monster Hunter as one of those series where every game is just better than the last, like the old days of things like Monster Rancher 1 and 2, how the sequels were literally just the same game but with more content and balance fixes. Monster Hunter World has superior story, better looking, overall more interesting.
Rise appeals more to the oldschool style, which is also nice, but adds different monsters and increases mobility by a hundred.
