Are you going at it alone? If so... well, good luck.
In multiplayer? Don't be a moron and bring lifepowder.
In general, bring the temporal mantle and health mantle, bring crafting materials for ancient potions and shit, and don't try to wallbang it when it's on two legs.
>Are you going at it alone? If so... well, good luck.
is he actually really hard to solo? im trying to do it but it seems a grand majority of Monster Hunter veterans prefer to play multiplyer than solo hunt
I've played every MH game, and iceborne fatalis is the only monster I've only defeated in multiplayer. He's got moronic amounts of health and you have to be 200% perfect to beat him, and that was me playing with SA which is arguably the best weapon to beat him with.
I'm a proud solo hunter and every single monster i hunt for the first time must be solo. If you killed fatalis in a group you missed the dopamine + Adrenaline rush of listening to proof of a hero while you struggle to finish fatalis off in its last phase. I truly pity you.
mix alatreon and gold rath gear, divine blessing 5 is an auto win. Alatreon weps for damage too. Just learn the windows, get your wall slam and your 1 mount in early and target the frick out of the head. Get the break in a bit after 50% and he's down for a minute. Then go from that into dragonator and things snowball into your field very easily
It doesnt make him stronger. He's a opportunistic predator that waits for his target to get old/awakened to pick a fight and win by outlasting its target ( Nergigante is a tank, probably the most resilient monster in the series lorewise due its massive regeneration )

>literally posts an example of what he was talking about
Your hunter basically did all the work and Nergigante just stole the kill
He's not stronger than most elden dragons, he has a title of "the elden dragon eater" because he waits for his prey to grow old or get ill to finish them off. He's an opportunistic predator.

This scene happens right after we fought this monster and weakened it, my point still stands.

I mean yes but Nergigante is a prime example of lore =// gameplay, lorewise he is supposed to be really fricking strong vs other elder dragons

Dude, it has nothing to do with "gameplay". The IN-GAME LORE says he's an opportunistic predator that waits his pray to get ill / old to finish it off. You're just coping at this point.

Most canon turfwars between nergigante and other elden dragons happen in elder's recess which is the place where elden dragons go to die, they're clearly not at their peak.
>After dozen of failed tries you finally reach fatalis final phase >Uses the dragonator >Proof of a hero starts playing
Reminder that if you dont kill your first fatalis solo you will miss the most kino moment in MHWORLD.

Monster fricker board.
Damn I'd kill her if you catch my drift.
The "Little Death", yes?
Okay fine. Source?

You'd be having an easier tie if you were using the Gun Sword from Lost Planet 2 after Capcom implements it as s new weapon class
you are in every thread
what level autism do you have
Holy crap here comes Nergigante and she doesn't look too happy
Isnt Nergigante the strongest 1v1 monster?
No lol
