Worse. It's not dying. It's undead.

It's literally being held hostage by Empress. A mentally ill troony with a rotten bleeding front hole.

The fact that pirate chads have to get our booty from a literal troon freaks me out. I still have PTSD of that night Empress held the Hogwarts Legacy crack hostage until he got like 100k people on his telegram group

just accept her as a woman she is and you'll get your games, is it so hard chuddie?

I will never kneel to a man who calls himself a woman! And even if it was a real woman, i would never kneel to a real woman EITHER.

I only kneel for our lord and savior Jesus Christ.

My theory is that new games are so trash that usually is not even worth the time to crack them.
Like I haven't played an AAA since years and 90% of the stuff I play is either emulable, old, or indies, and that's coming from someone in his mid 20s.
I assume most boomers or whatever that are actually into vidya care even less about new stuff than me

I'm thankful that Armored Core 6 isn't using denuvo. It's got stupid anti-cheat and some weird ancient DRM called Arxen, but it's supposed to be laughably trivial to crack.

Last one I bought was 18 but I downloaded a demo of 23 on my PS5 and it was the full game and I can still play it. Now that I finally have a PC I was kinda looking forward to pirating Madden 24

Do you also have an imaginary controller in front of you when watching a game you're not controlling?

          >when watching a game you're not controlling

That would imply Yakuza titles or their spinoffs have gameplay, the most amount of gameplay you can get in those games is playing Space Harrier or Fantasy Zone on the arcade machines.

As a piracy consumer with 99% of new games I don't even bother checking to see if they've been cracked or not. Not worth the download.

Zoom zooms don't know how to do anything with computers except open apps. Plus, games have basically never been cheaper, with most going half off within 3 months and 75% off within a year.

Denuvo is a fairly tedious task to crack so the supply is limited and good games don't use Denuvo so there is no demand.
The simple fact is that good games with good service do not suffer when pirated, because the pirates will still participate in public discourse and there will be a bigger userbase that can ultimately be converted into a paying userbase. The people who would always pirate were never going to be your customers to begin with.
A bad game with bad service will not gain any kind of benefit and if more people even deign to participate in the public discourse due to piracy, they will do so with an informed negative opinion
