What stats? From what day? I used twitch to be as fair as I could to the game. On twitch about 10k people worldwide are engaging with that content for sf6. On steam it’s about 5k. I don’t even watch twitch but I know enough to know that it’s popular. Just because you and the gays you play with don’t accept it doesn’t make it so.

Fighting games lend themselves to being gate kept. Maybe back in the old days when it was punch, kick and special move it was accessible. moron fighting game devs don't understand what makes a good fighting game. They blow their load on spectacle and sacrifice nuance. There's a reason Melee has such insane staying power; combos are shortlived, you have directional influence when taking damage, characters have different weights and floatiness, everyone gets knocked back more as their damage climbs. There's a lot of nuance in the little things, whereas every modern fighter is kind of just autistic frame data and glorified rock paper scissors
I would very much like a new big fighting game that isn't bogged down by a billion mechanics. I just want everyone to have their normals, their specials, their supers, and that's it.
