Guest characters have more effort put into them. MK11 Jax's arms and Frost's entire body were flesh, blood and bone during x-ray moves and finishers, whereas Terminator and Robocop had unique and accurate innards.

I could be remembering it wrong, but I'm pretty sure the only organic part of her body left was her head (except for her eyes). You can see that she has a cybernetic spine in one of her intros, but during x-ray moves and finishers, it's a normal bone spine.

But who the frick cares? The game peaked in popularity in the first week but after all the normies beat the story mode it fell the frick off and holds around like 900-1000 active players. Adding capeshit characters isn't going to bring back any interest in me and it's God awful fighting. Most people will probably do what they did for mk 11 and just watch the fatalities on YouTube

Netherrealm REALLY needs to fire everyone in their animation department and hire new people. Its just bizarre that we have Tekken 8 and SF6 with excellent animations that use the character's full bodies, demonstrate the strenght behind each attack while also being easily readable and MK is still somehow stuck on everyone being stiff as a board and attacking with only the upper halves of their bodies. Its like they're 10 years behind the rest of the industry in the animation departament
