It was a game about lots of guns
2 perfected the variety of equipment and how it interacted with various skill tree combo(s), 3 made all guns feel like wet noodles and only reward tryhard CODgay tier gameplay
Didn't even bother playing on whatever they called ng+, sold it after >ThIs GuRl Is In FiYaAaAa
The series is doomed to irreversible failure unless they ditch the woke shit, bring back the "umph" equipment and skill trees used to have, and quit making it so plot intensive
2 had the worst feeling guns by far, and had the most egregious bullet sponging in the series. Sniper rifles were the only guns that did any real damage
this game gave me a mental breakdown from how bad it was and my years of shitty behavior, peeking with this, made all my friends drop me from our friend group and it was the best thing that ever happened to me
borderlands 3 saved me.
Played a little more of the presequel last night. Helping some wienerney kid foil a wacky nerdy villain and his femdom nazi girlfriend for an AI but I forgot why we needed an AI.
to hack the moon base, it doesn't matter though, since moxxi just knows how to hack it anyway which begs the question as to why she was letting bandits run train on her in 1.
I understand the sentiment of wanting oranges to actually feel rare but do you not remember how fricking awful the farming in 2 was? That shit was beyond atrocious, especially before the patch.
>BL1 legendary guns are more common at late game, but you might be able to get a few through out the game >BL2 legendary guns are more common in the 2nd playthough, very few chance to get it in your first playthrough >BL3 legendary guns are common throughout the first playthrough
we'll never get the balance of BL1 ever again
I average like 4 legendaries in playthrough 1; Jack/Warrior is a guaranteed, and then opening up the side quests tends to net me two, and i generally open a world drop around the preserve.

The legendary equipment may have been more common, but was moronicly watered down in effectiveness
I found myself enjoying Wonderlands just a bit more. The classes were more interesting, the different gear effects lead to a lot of variety in playstyle while leveling, and the game took just a slight bit longer to become mindlessly easy. The areas were pretty cool too, especially the beanstalk.
>GearBox didn't think Wonderlands would sell >It does >Does jackshit for it and doesn't add DLC >Game dies >They think New Tales will sell because everyone loved Tales >It's worse than 3 in every way possible >Bombs hard
I'm praying the Borderlands movie flopping or BL4 flopping results in Randy getting fired by 2K.
>they'll love New Tales will sell because everyone loved Tales
I wouldn't assume they thought that, because from all I've heard about New Tales, it sounds like a spiteful ragefic about how everyone liked Tales and its characters more than anything they wrote, so they made something to stick it to that and show how THEY would do it
I was immediately turned off by the character creator. I tried to make the least ugly face I could, still failed, pushed on and hoped that since it's an FPS it hopefully wouldn't matter too much, only to find out you navigate a tabletop with a big head chibi.
>least ugly face I could
You're supposed to tick the box that turns off the size limitations and create an absolute fricking goblin.
>You're supposed to tick the box that turns off the size limitations and create an absolute fricking goblin.
I don't fricking want to, I want to make someone cool looking.

Am I the only one who kinda wishes we got this version of Borderlands instead of the "le epic meme xD" version we got?: https://youtube.com/watch?v=hjFO3jrQcDo
I disagree it's the most fun; the game is too easy for its own good, there's almost know need to looter in the looter shooter.

yeah, i had to stack a shit ton of anarchy with Gaige to get good damage
this game gave me a mental breakdown from how bad it was and my years of shitty behavior, peeking with this, made all my friends drop me from our friend group and it was the best thing that ever happened to me

How in the name of God is that thing going to run on the switch?
I've no idea
Runs fine

I really disliked how common legendary equipment was.

got a legendary grenade mod from the jack/warrior fight, totally underwhelmed me hard

No, you'll create a nose the size of a watermelon to larp as the devs and you'll like it

Wrong again 2 was the best OP remains a gay
I wouldn't even care if you were allowed to fricking avoid it but it's like every fricking second with this shit millenial writing
Just turn the voice volume to 0
That's how I got through hi-fi rush
I can only imagine how fricking poorly this will run
>le gazillion guns
>80% of them are recolor
It's like 8 bucks on PSN right now. Worth it just for the shoot shoot aspect?
Yes, it's a solid game, the writing is painfully modern and cringy but it doesn't matter.
No, it's complete trash. Not worth playing for free.
Sure. Just switch the language and turn off subtitles.

Why does this BL3's writing get so much hate when BL2's writing was just as bad?
>BL2's writing was just as bad?
cause BL2 didn't have Ava or the moron twins
butt stallion
Butt stallion was a funny one-of joke, it only started getting eye rolling territory after the tina DLC.
Soon in VR. Waiting for fixes to use with UEVR
1 is the only good borderlands
what a shitty cover art
2 still is the cornerstone of lootershooters
