Unpopular opinion: EA makes really solid games. Their publishing is a fricking disaster (pricing & DLC models, for example). They're real pieces of shit. But the games themselves are solid. Like Hitman. Great devs, shitting publishers controlling them.

From and Platinum no question. Former has rehashed the same mediocre dungeon crawler for over a decade and Platinum has 0 good games. ND has a few good games in their catalog
I voted Rockstar and FromSoft. It feels too easy to point at fromsoft they've kept the same problems in all of their modern action games and Elden Ring was essentially just all of their assets plus bonus content in another incomplete overly simplified action game with a jump button and horse. DaS3 was obviously far less impressive than Elden Ring but it gets exhausting expecting improvements and just getting more of the same shit with underwhelming content tuned to be as tedious and annoying as possible. Rockstar always just made normalgay games with bad gameplay after vice city. The focus on realism and now with pol correct stuff is a miserable combination when they should be gamifying mechanics to look realistic but play well
I don't think there's any top tier devs that are over-rated. All of them have some bad stuff mixed with the good. Strengths and weaknesses. I wouldn't say any are over-rated, as such. Fanboism and brand loyalty are annoying, though.
Because no one gives a frick about Blizzard games anymore. They consistently output trash, and everyone knows it. And if you think Diablo 4 will be good, then you are a naive goyim.
