I'm playing BbS now. I was liking the game. I got to the fourth world with Sora, I'm fighting what seems to be Replica Riku with Mickey. Well, I'm starting to understand why people don't like these command cards games. I've never needed to grind on the series, until now.
The attack are doing chip damage, so you basically need to spam the commands. I go throughout the battle without taking a hit, and then he kills me in two hits.
There is no stagger, like KH2, so you are attacking him and it's kinda of random when to stop, so I only attack two times. I hardly finish a combo because of this. A lot of things feel random, I defended but was hit, then I fully defend and so on. It is a good system, but it seems to me that it's not polished.
So, I'll grind for the magics now, I'll try to level all the magic to tier 3. I think that the game is 100% dependent on the commands, so I'm pretty sure that I'll break the game if I level up the commands and discover some of the recipes now.
Am I wrong? I'm playing on critical. The grinding is so boring, but I'll do it on the arena, at least I'll complete more of the game while doing it.

I've finished Re:CoM too. I'm getting a feeling that it's the same as CoM, one you learn to break the game, that's it. In CoM I've destroyed the last boss with Ragnarok and all the previously battles with Chrono+attack+attack sleight.
I like the game, but I think that they are more about breaking the system than getting good, like KH1 and KH2.

Devil May Cry inspired mods that break the game and add mobility + character changes can add replayability. Also randomizer mods never hurt.
all that is only for 2. For 3 you get a bare bones rando and animation canceling at best. Most of the modding community only cares about keyblade redskins or model swaps. (Trust me, I've tried looking, I would live for 3 to be actually fun to play outside of data battles)
