Lickilicky looks like a fatass baby complete with stubby limbs, a hair swirl and a bib. The pre-evo ironically looks like it should be the successor.
To add insult to injury it even has a stunted tongue. lickilicky is quite possibly one of the worst evolutions given to a pokemon.
It has stubbier limbs because its torso is bigger than its pre-evo. The whole point is that it turns into a rich gluttonous gourmand you moron.
Not really Lickitung looks fatter due to being shorter and also has a shorter tongue.

Cross gen evolution in shitnoh were the biggest mistake
Probopass is a pleb filter design in the same way Incineroar and the Galar fossils are.
The actual bad cross gen evos in gen 4 is shit like Dusknoir and Ambipom where they clearly just ran out of ideas.
Dusknoir is stupid because it completely abandoned the original themes, but Ambipom is a bog-standard evolution. It gets another one of its unique features when it evolves.
My Probopass moveset:
- Dig (for constructing underground tunnels)
- Lock-On (for targeting hospitals)
- Wide Guard (for iron dome missile defense system)
- Block (for shutting it down)

Gen 4 cross gen evos hurt the Sinnoh region forcing it to rely more on past regions as a substitute for its own mons. . . I like togekiss and magnezone but it wasn't healthy for the region, its clear why in B&W they restricted you to the unovadex.

Anon like half the new evos were post-game only in DP. Sinnoh's roster was ass for different reasons.
All the Sinnoh crossevos are great. The only meh looking one is Tangrowth because it's more blob looking and less vine-y compared to Tangela but it's an easy fix.

Just get rid of the stupid "moustache" and it would be a good design. With it it looks too much like Mr. Portato Head.
Murkrow's beta design even had a more witch-like hat. There's no point in denying its motif and that Honchkrow went in a completely different direction.
I personally think Gen 4 is the most mixed bag generation in terms of designs, one of them are excelent and others are...uh....not very good...and... a bit overdesigned.
I like some of the gen 4 cross evos. Weavile, Mismagius and Yanmega rock. Honchkrow is cool but a weird follow up to Murkrow.
Probopass is a weird design but ever since I saw this fan made set of noises for him using pitched down and modulated throatsinging I've come to like him more.
