heres an example from the rainbow six. I used to play a lot of buck because he could breach walls and throw frags. This was fun because you could get nades where they normally couldnt reach and kill unaware players hiding in corners.
A couple months go by and the devs decide this is simply too good and nades are entirely removed from his kit. Now that entire style of play is gone and he is just a dime a dozen soft wall breacher chasing frags like ash

Tarkov has great "realistic", slow gunplay, especially now with the new recoil.
For anything Quake-like where skill is king, being a good Widowmaker in OW is the goal to aim for.

battlebit was boring, the minecraft theme was funny for like 5 minutes, then i just got sick of everyone looking like identical npcs and i couldnt care less who won or lost.
It is like a far less ambitious, far lazier version of Planetside 2, which was a far superior game on launch to Battlebit. But even that lacked a real "endgame" at launch and it took them over a year to implement a better grind-reward scheme to make people care. By then the crowds had moved on.
Which is a shame, because PS2 was a technical masterpiece of a game and the fact that no console or pc game since has even tried to emulate anything PS2 did is a disgrace. I hope UE buys that propietary engine and incorporates some of the code at some point.
