muhammad heard the words of satan 616 years after the true birth of christ (6 bc)
616 is the number of the beast, 666 is a mistranslation
we were warned
Jesus is literally the anti-Christ. The only physical evidence of him existing is AN EMPTY TOMB. He performed witchcraft, and the israelites are still unconvinced of his messianic status to this very day.
Muhammad is just a chill dude who married a e-girl.
Originally Zelda was supposed to have overt Christian imagery. OoT added some Islamic influence though I don't think it's been apparent or as apparent in any game after.
Zelda is VERY influenced by christianity, if it weren't for how badly christians were treated in Japan, Zelda would not be as successful a series.
>During his childhood, Shigeru Miyamoto enjoyed exploring the countryside and hillsides around his home, which inspired the creation of The Legend of Zelda.
>Miyamoto stated the tunic design was selected due to themes and hardware limitations. The NES only let the team use three colors, and since the original Legend of Zelda title had so many forests (or at least what the console could render as forests), green was ultimately selected for Link’s clothes. Moreover, Miyamoto tasked game designer Takashi Tezuka with making Link easily seen and distinguishable, so features such as the equally-iconic green cap and long ears were added to Link’s design. Also, the character Peter Pan had a strong influence on the character’s model.
>According to Arthurian Legend
The sword symbolizes justice, and the stone represents Christianity. By pulling the sword from the stone, Arthur is agreeing to pursue justice in the name of God.
In ocarina of time,
LINK, born of a UNKNOWN HYLIAN WOMAN, is ultimately the CHOSEN ONE but grows up through his childhood believing himself to be "just another kokiri (Jew)." The other Kokiri are uneasy because he is not a true one of the chosen people, because he is not guided by a fairy. His adopted father, the Great Deku tree can be seen as Joseph accepting him as one of his own ,or as ultimately YHWH the "guardian spirit" of the israelites.
Jesus/Link ultimately must end the worship of the Deku tree and usher in a new age, a new religion.
He must cast out out the evil merchants selling spiritual pardons for money in every temple and holy place, for every race before true peace can be achieved.
The hylians (roman empire)
The gerudo (Muslims)
Gorons (Blacks)
Zora (Asians)
Link is ultimately betrayed by Judas/Impa, who in order to protect zelda reveals to Ganondorf that he is in possession of the three stones.
The gerudo king uses the opportunity to enter the sacred realm once Link opens the doors of time.
7 years asleep = 40 days in the desert
Zelda, unable to cope with the shame of losing everything but her life, disguises herself. She knows she must ultimately lead Adult Link to his "death/crucifixion" or the end of OOT.
Then he is reborn as a child again.
I suppose Majoras mask happens during the three days Jesus is dead, hence the dark themes.
>Jesus/Link ultimately must end the worship of the Deku tree and usher in a new age, a new religion.
There is never any mention of a "new religion" or anything of that sort filling the void left behind after the Deku Tree's death, and Link had no part in his death. >He must cast out out the evil merchants selling spiritual pardons for money in every temple and holy place, for every race before true peace can be achieved.
There's not a single thing in the game that makes reference to any of this happening. Pure headcanon. >Link is ultimately betrayed by Judas/Impa, who in order to protect zelda reveals to Ganondorf that he is in possession of the three stones.
Not even close to what happened. Ganondorf was closely monitoring them after his meeting with the Hylian king and played 5D chess to enter the sacred realm. No one sold them out, they were outplayed because they were literal children trying to plot against a tactical warlord. >7 years asleep = 40 days in the desert
Massive stretch, as not only do the numbers not even match up in any significant way, but Link isn't tested during that time. He's just in stasis. >She knows she must ultimately lead Adult Link to his "death/crucifixion" or the end of OOT.
Wild assertion, as she doesn't lead him to his death at all. >Then he is reborn as a child again.
Very much unlike Jesus, so not sure why you even typed this.
Its perhaps the best dungeon music of OoT. Perhaps Zelda dungeon music overall. Such a great ambient.
Shame it got changed for some generic shit because some israelites got intimidated.
It's not as overt, but the other temples have strong middle-eastern influences too. Like that one instrument in the Water Temple theme, and the blocks being the crescent moon and star.
I'm assuming that by styling Hyrule after medieval Europe, it would be natural for its neighboring state to be styled after the muslim world. It's a really cool idea, but they never tried this again after having to censor everything. A damn shame. One of the many things elevating OOT over subsequent Zeldas.
Reminds me of some of Save Data's videos analyzing the music of Ocarina of Time, where he mentions the Near-Eastern vibes in certain tracks.
tl;dr the guy brings up how Geurdo Valley's flamenco-sounding music makes sense since it's where the Gerudo Desert (Arab/desert themed) meets Hyrule (Christian Europe), mirroring how Spanish Christian music and culture were influenced by the Moors and Arabs.
Pretty neat, especially since the Gerudo just get vaguely-Arab themes in later games.
I miss the old Crescent & Star Gerudo emblem. I grew up with a 1.0 cartridge, so playing a newer version of the game with the revised symbols always feels weird.
lyrics?
>"If Allah wills;
>In the name of Allah, the most merciful and beneficial,
>In the name of Allah, the most merciful and beneficial,
>There is no God, but Allah."
>"God is good, Believe in Allah"
>"Allah, the almighty God"
They sing this before blowing up themselves in public
They really should be more considerate and do it in private
oh my fricking science my duderino! you win teh internets for today... imagine no religion... george carlin so awesome..
>implying Link would that because he crossdressed
Ocarina of Time doesn't have Link crossdressing.

لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا ٱللَّٰهُ
There is no deity but God.
مُحَمَّدٌ رَسُولُ ٱللَّٰهِ
Muhammad is the Messenger of God.
>The above two statements are commonly prefaced by the phrase ašhadu ʾan ('I bear witness that'), yielding the full form:
أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا ٱللَّٰهُ وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ ٱللَّٰهِ
I bear witness that there is no deity but God, and I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of God
OCARINA OF TIME CONFIRMED HALAL
literally demonic

ONTOG ONTOG TA DAYYYY
OOOOHHHHHHH
ONTOG ONTOG TA DAYYYY
OOOOOOOHHH
Zelda was muslim???
Hyrule was christian; the demon tribes were muslim. AoL Link used a cross like castlevania.

Tell me if any of this seems familiar:

No, but the triforce is Turkish (muslim).
hurr durr
Its kino, its supposed to be a holy volcano, and the arab gives the "dessert/exotic" vibe, it gives character to the goron culture.
I can't believe they let a children's game have demonic chants in the 90s
