it's just the generic cool lady, all I remember from her is that line in the intro video where she says something about the "wrong side of the road is the right side" something like that. Very forgettable overall.
Funny you should say that considering the Burnout series demise is emblematic of the stratification, or to be kind, changing tides that have thinned the herd so much since like....the middle of the 7th gen. Burnout, OutRun, FlatOut, Auto Modellista, Midnight Club, Test Drive, WipeOut--and then, all the extreme sports games from MX to ATV to snowboarding and Splashdown and so on--if you want to count those. That entire category doesn't exist anymore, it's practically microscopic. I think it's a real loss.
As for Burnout, the series was basically rejected by the market citing a chief concern: the cars were not licensed, not "real". So they got sucked into the ass of Need for Speed, managed to squeak out a pretty good NFS game, and then became another "Support Studio" casualty.
I greatly prefer SSX3's DJ.
*Burnout Paradise
Never played/not retro
It's the same guy, DJ Atomika.
Loved Burnout Paradise - hated the DJ.
What, not enough gay EDM for your tastes?
>EDM
gtfo zoomer
gay euro dance is retro
For my Burnout revival concept game I'd have Stryker and Atomika as co-hosts on the radio.
The DJ in Revenge was so forgettable
Probably because the game doesn't have a DJ...
she's there just not on the radio. she does the class transitions I think and tutorial videos.
Only the tutorial videos. The class transitions have no voiceovers.
Burnout Dominator uses the same woman's voice in the same way.

Atomika is female or was that just >our dub?
Are you talking about Burnout 3? Because that's DJ Stryker.
worst take on /vr/
The DJ is fun but when I'm racing I just want my 2000s alt rock, he talks wayyyy too much
this was a big annoyance, too many repeat lines and the jokes that don't land the first time are annoying to here the 10th time.
Burnout dominator feels a prequel to 3. Atleast I can see further in this one. No crash events? No radio host.
It was made by a different studio
I don't love it, but I like the atmosphere he brings, idk how to describe it but he just adds to it, feels a bit empty without the dj.
*throws disc back into the bargain bin or trash*
>ah much better
the entire franchise does nothing but remind me of the end of gaymen- its all AAA normie crap now

They are in charge of the newest NFS game so I wonder how that turns out
*turns it up as loud as possible*
Stryker is a good man and you're a goddamn pleb.
