2 was a step in the wrong direction and the franchise never recovered from it.
They should've stuck with the minimalist gameplay and movement options, instead they wanted to be more like Mario64, a title the original Crash already surpassed.
It was my first game so i love the shit out of it. I love exploring the worlds and how the escalate naturally, it's weird to say but most 3D platformers don't naturally do this >For example the school has you explore outside, sewers, then the classrooms, then finally the roof.
It feels seamless and even jak and daxter had the levels feel seperate rather than in one place
just downloaded this along with Wrath of Cortex for my PS2 emulator collection since I missed the PS2 entries as a kid, is Twinsanity the better game I should play first ?
Twinsanity is usually said to be the better game, but it’s also shorter and a bit more glitchier. Wrath of Cortex is just Crash 3, but worse with a few solid levels sprinkled here and there. I would say play both since both have something enjoyable
Crash was pretty huge in the mideast back in the PS2 era, It was like one of the must-have games there, Too bad it didn't help boost the sales since i assume most of those copies were pirated versions of the game like those bootleg discs from Hispanic countries where they sell the full game for cheaper price on a cheap disc.
It has intense sovl, very charming writing, and the soundtrack is superb - my personal favourite crash game though I wouldn't argue hard to try to convince someone's the best one
>Wrath of Cortex >Haven : Call of the King >Finding Nemo >Twinsanity >Lego Star Wars : The Video Game
First five games by Traveller's Tales from the PS2/Gamecube/Xbox era. Twinsanity was made by a different and less experienced branch than the others (which came from the same branch)
2 > 1 > Twinsanity > N-Tranced > Huge Adventure > 3 > Wrath of Cortex > Crash Purple

What does the N stand for?
homie cortex
This game is my entire childhood kek I must have beaten it 15+ times
I have played it at least 4 times, Something about it just makes it replayable.

In-game cutscenes are awful. Like, how does a PS2/Xbox game have worse in-game cutscenes than the Banjo games or Conker on N64?
Haven't played that since I was around 10. What a dumb game. I loved it
Why do all the gems look the same besides the color? It wasn't like that on previous games.
I still want a fully fledged remake with all the cut content in the game, It would be perfect
Twinsanity reminds me of this game, which came out less than a year before.
>At some point in the future we can use AI to remake (and finish) this game
Literally the only reason I haven't ended myself yet.

can confirm
Post favorite track from the insane OST
Good song wasted on a shit boss
I thought it was neat. Only problem was the hitbox was bugged and stayed on the corpse so you'd die when you touched it walk out of the arena
