It has latency of course, but if you're using a NVIDIA GPU it is super low and unnoticeable, about ~10ms. This is assuming 1080p 60fps. I don't think you can do 4k or over 60fps without more latency, or at least I've never tried that

mostly platformers and first party nintendo games
chilling with my controller on the couch. I can just turn it on from far away with just the controller (yeah the steam and xbox controller used to be able to do the same but the new wireless adapter can't on the xbox and they don't sell steam controller anymore)
mario kart with super smash bros is just fun with friends and family
