Genuinely low iq. You know nothing of games, don't pretend you do. DMC1 is flawlessly designed outside of mundus and griffon. Being a complete casual pile of trash that doesn't engage with the game in any meaningful way doesn't give you any right to speak on it or anything.
Felt like just mashing square over and over on the most spongey enemies to ever exist most of the time. Movement and everything feels clunky too. You can't really do much to control your legion either, only force it to do its one command move.
Fair, but CL is one of those few games that lets me actually play a summoner while not being so useless myself, wrapped up into an action RPG. I guess it was more about the theme, I don't even remember the story myself besides losing Thanatos after the prologue, only the gameplay.
It probably didn't age well but I remember at the time for being a very fun game, hard to believe I picked it on random after my cousin told me she'd buy a cheap game for me.
>NieR Automata on crap
I like this homie, tho putting OG Bayonetta on the mid tier below 2, 3, Revengeance and freaking Darksiders 3 tells me that you don't really like hack n slash mechanics as much as you like the superficial elements
I remember Sw:ep 3 being fun when I was a kid, but come on, the same as Astral Chain?
I clearly remember those "force Jump" spots failing to activate half the time.
I played DW5 and Samurai warriors back in the day. Loved them both. Wish someone else would give the genre a go but I havent tried Hyrule Warriors.
Also a quick shout out to LOTR: Return of the King, that game was fun AF
Yes Bayo 2 is better than 1 overall as it trimmed down the gimmick sections which makes the game more replayable, and added countless other improvements. Gameplay wise, apples and oranges it depends if you prefer a focus on style of efficiency. Personally I don't care much for tryhard juggles so it doesn't bother me. On the other hand I like that B2 enemies are more reactive and engaging.
>MGR Godlike
You wouldn't understand unless you for for at least all A ranks on Hard. The game's depth only shows if you're going for high ranks with all the variables you have to balance.
>bayonetta 3 masterpiece
The sole reason I like it so much is because of the combat, how does that mean I "hate good combat"?
ninja gayden has dogshit bosses and trash defensive options
not to mention the terrible non existent balance on moves that makes 2-3 combos dominate the entire game and the rest worthless garbo not worth using ever.
Attempting to have an opinion on something you have a raindrop of knowledge in.
Keep it to yourself, most people that actually know what they're talking about can see straight through you.
No way in hell RE and ESPECIALLY vanilla NG3 are in the same tier as Bayonetta. I really enjoy RE but that games' design is absolutely horrendous at times, whereas Bayonetta 1's game design (for the most part) is fantastic and there clearly was put a lot of thought into every single aspect. Vanilla NG3 is just so unbelievably dogshit that anywhere but crap is an insult to NG in general. >inb4 the DoA avatarschizo joins the thread and shares his delusional takes on how Razor's Edge is a masterpiece.
RE is quite rough around the edges but still has great gameplay and exciting set pieces.
Bayonnetta 1 has awful level design, there's only a handful of stages that are even worth replaying due to how gimmicky the stages are. The core gameplay itself only really shines against a few enemies like g&g and joys, a huge chunk of enemies are passive and just exist for you to do juggle combos on them. RE enemies always engage you.
This post makes no sense to me. Your taste is both based and cringe simultaneously.
I feel like this isn't an organic choice, and doesn't reflect your true taste.
It's like you're basing it of a general consensus of what you think is the right choice.
Overall, I agree with about 30% of the list.
5/10
i dont like it
cope and seethe
>dmc1
>ok
>mgr
>godlike
lmao, this list is made by an underage. Did an ok job with crap at least.
NEW GAME BAD OLD GAME GUD.
ANYTHING OTHERWISE IS HERESY!
And i'm 23.
I'm just willing to admit that a lot of old games like DMC1 have aged like milk gameplay wise and in general.
Post DmD clear and then I will take your opinion seriously. It's the best game in the series by a mile even with mundus 1 and griffon.
I don't need a masters degree in the game to realise its gameplay is barebones. It's an observable fact.

>play again the game you didnt like at all, you might change your opinion!
Bro...
dmc1 is not that good when compared to what came after it.
It's vastly superior to Devil Gay Cry [Number]
I don't fully agree with it but I respect any fellow Bayo 3 enjoyer
>darksiders 3
>masterpiece
Did it get a major overhaul or something because it was really garbage at launch
Classic mode was added to make attacks cancellable and instant healing.
I'll give it a try again. Sounds interesting
It's not for everyone however keep that in mind.
Don't go in expecting to do flashy juggle shenanigans like in DMC. It's meant to be a fusion of souls and a hack n slash game.
i was about to call you on darksiders 3 until i read this.
maybe now the game wont be so shit
CHAOS LEGION MENTIONED!
Felt like just mashing square over and over on the most spongey enemies to ever exist most of the time. Movement and everything feels clunky too. You can't really do much to control your legion either, only force it to do its one command move.

Hurt to see chaos legion at the bottom
Did you not play Ninja Gaiden 1
Im looking to play it sometime but it doesn't look that special to me.
I simply want to thank you for using the proper term and not "character action" or some shit like that.
>NieR Automata on crap

Where’s all the Fromsoft garbage?
>NOOOOOO I GRIND EXP AND INCREASE 3 NUMBERS IN THOSE GAMES!!
Where are they
>no Viewtiful Joe
>no Lucah Born of a Dream
>no Fairy Bloom Freesia
Go back to whatever normalgay shithole you crawled from.
Viewtiful Joe is a beat 'em up, not a hack n slash.
>Rising that high
The power of memes, how embarrassing
>no Bloodborne in GOAT
Shit list
>darksiders 3 higher than 2
>3 even being that high
shit taste regardless of the rest of the chart
>musou genre is dead
What was your favourite warriors game?
Last game I enjoyed was DW8XL
I played DW5 and Samurai warriors back in the day. Loved them both. Wish someone else would give the genre a go but I havent tried Hyrule Warriors.
Also a quick shout out to LOTR: Return of the King, that game was fun AF
hns vros, any games with easy trash mobs to hack and difficult boss to slash? only one i could come up with is path of exile with pinnacle bosses
hack and slash games are games like diablo and path of exile.
trash list
>Rising
>Godlike
Shit
>hack and slash
Looking at this list made me remember Never dead, I wonder if another human being played that game
>bayonetta 2 above 1
>mgr godlike
>bayonetta 3 masterpiece
i guess you just hate good combat?
what teh frick

God of War 3 is miles better than all that weeb troony shit you just posted
I could hardly read that. Did everyone forget how to copy/paste/resize in paint or photoshop?
No mention of CV: LoS and Dante inferno
>list aknowledges the existence of the Ninja Gaiden games
>they're not on the very top of the list
Objectively wrong tier list.
ninja gayden has dogshit bosses and trash defensive options
not to mention the terrible non existent balance on moves that makes 2-3 combos dominate the entire game and the rest worthless garbo not worth using ever.

dmc1 had a unique charm nothing else had. like horror-esque action. it was nice.

The exact opposite actually.
People cant stand it when someone prefers Bayo 2 over Bayo 1 for one because muh video essay said its dumb dumb mashing game or whatever.
I concur with somw of those, others I cringe. Also, add FF16 in great tier
While GOW1 might only be square square square for some people, it really has more to offer than that, and shouldn't be on the same row as DMC2
It shouldn't be on the same row as DMC2. It should be lower. My bad.
