PC + Switch, un-ironically
Just about every worthwhile game is getting ported to the PC.
You may miss out on the odd exclusive, but frick getting gouged by paying first-party prices.
Not always, more often than not the fast optimizations happen for big first party Nintendo releases. I'm sure something like Gal Metal didn't work on Yuzu on release. Not to mention the lack of multiplayer.
It's not perfect, but you're correct
Was sorely considering emulating Tears of the Kingdom, but then I remembered the odd gyroscopic puzzle in Breath of the Wild >Lo and behold they dropped those puzzles though, lol
I tried connecting a Pro Controller to the PC, but it was so janky that I stopped trying. Curious if I would have better luck with high-end third-party controllers.
>It's not perfect, but you're correct
It's perfect if you have nvidia or dual boot to linux for amd
>I tried connecting a Pro Controller to the PC
skill issue. There is a native driver built into both emulators for switch controllers that has 100% accurate gyro emulation
Bro it's not perfect. Anyone can go to the comp wikis and see every single issue, stop lying for no reason. This isn't even like console warrior tards who spent money and feel an obligation to defend their choice.

You can play Zelda and all the obligatory bingshit perfectly. idgaf if some multiplat that has a native PC port isn't optimized

I'm not talking about multiplats. If you think every console exclusive on Switch is just the Nintendo stuff then that's on you.

That's fricking why
Last time I looked into it, you needed a third-party program to enable gyroscopic functionality
9 months ago
Anonymous
you don't need any third party shit to enable gyro. it works out of the box with dual shock/xbox. that setting is specifically if you have a Nintendo Switch controller.

You forgot the bit where I wanted gyroscopic controls, chill dude
Splatoon 3's scratching a very specific itch so the Switch + subscription stays
Otherwise, it's PC gaming all the way >paying a sub for a single game
All my other favorite shooters have become unbearable pieces of shit, like CoD, Siege, Apex
I'm still filtered by the graphics
Ironic I know, considering I mentioned Splatoon on my initial reply, but maybe I'll give it a try one of these days

(not him) >filtered by graphics
why are millennials like this?
I can play DOOM and quake just fine, and the graphics are quite basic, but millennials can't handle even PS2 graphics. (I get being an FPS snob, that's totally fair, i just mean fidelity)

I can understand your friend, been playing on a laptop with a 1050 Ti for a very long time before bothering to build a desktop with a 3060 Ti just a few months ago
I don't play like that anymore, having good graphics (for a 1080p@144Hz monitor at least) feels so good, might upgrade to a 4K setup and a better GPU once pricing makes sense again
My PC doesn't play many Switch games even in an acceptable state. No I'm not falling for the Nvidiaisraelite just to more successfully emulate games you moron. I can play actual PC games just fine.
Switch exclusives: >Mario Odyssey >Smash Ultimate >The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom >Splatoon 2 + Octo Expansion >Xenoblade Chronicles 2 >Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Torna the Golden Country >Snipperclips Plus >1 2 Switch >Fast RMX >Arms >Golf Story >Mario+Rabbids Kingdom Battle + Donkey Kong Adventure >Gal Metal >Kirby Star Allies >Mario Tennis Aces >TWEWY ~Final Remix~ >Super Mario Party >Pokémon Let's Go >Fitness Boxing >Yoshi's Crafted World >Pokémon Sword & Shield >Animal Crossing: New Horizons >Fire Emblem Three Houses >Luigi's Mansion 3 >Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 >Super Mario Maker 2 >The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening >Astral Chain >Box Boy! + Box Girl! >Tetris 99 >Cadence of Hyrule >Mario & Sonic at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games >Bayonetta 3 >Metroid Prime 4 >Shin Megami Tensei V >Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition >Ring Fit Adventure >Famicon Detective Club remakes >Brain Training Switch >Sports Story >Taiko no Tatsujin Drum & Fun >Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX >Ninjala >Groove Coaster Wai Wai Party >Clubhouse Games: 51 Worldwide Classics >Good Job! >Paper Mario: The Origami King >New Pokémon Snap >Bakugan: Champions of Vestroia >Picross S Series >Vitamin Connection >Working Zombies >Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity >Fitness Boxing 2 >Kirby Fighters 2 >Rolling Gunner >Buddy Mission BOND >Mario Golf: Super Rush >Splatoon 3 >Pokémon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl >Pokémon Legends Arceus >Monyuu >Pacman 99 >Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate >Game Builder Garage >Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope >Mario Party Superstars >Metroid Dread >WarioWare: Get It Together! >Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp >Kirby and the Forgotten Land >Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes

The funny thing is, statistically speaking Switch + Playstation is a far more common combo. Also, Switch and Xbox Series are completely antithetical in their goals as game platforms. So to act like this is a real alliance is hilarious.

PC plays Switch games better than Switch thoughever, you don't need a switch.

It's from EA, so it's automatically shit
CoD is owned by the now cancerous Activision, and Siege is sitting in the corner, eating glue with Ubisoft
Check out Battlebit on Steam--my semi-pro CS friend says it's bretty gud™ It's more of a Battlefield game than actual modern Battlefield games.

Too many games to fit in 1 post, to be continued
Perfect for Yuzu, though there are too many games for toddlers for my taste though
But those don't all work flawlessly on Yuzu, or even Ryujinx for that matter.
All of those have been mogged by BG3kino
wow i sure do love playing 50 variations of Mario, Pokemon, and Zelda asset swaps
