Is she meant to be black, or ethnically ambiguous? It looks like she is a while girl but then they gave her a dark tan so they can get brownie points for diversity.
She is not Indian, the name is just a reference to sagittaria trifolia, in original it is Omodaka, in French and Italian it is Alisma in Spanish Ságita, etc
I thought X and Y had a worst champion. Geeta's biggest problem is her ace is a set up mon but she uses it last. While she has a Kingambit that would be much better used as a final Pokémon because of its ability. Diantha's team is just straight up bad.
You know Geeta is hated when there are videos theorizing if her team can even help her become champion. Like, not even Diantha got that treatment, and she was made fun of for nearly a decade.
I think her design is fine. It's just the official art that looks very unfortunate (and also the in-game model, but imo nearly everyone in that game looks bad as well)
Why are her lower arms so small
Her gigantic, massive, world-ending honkadonkabadonkas are creating an optical illusion that makes her arms look smaller than normal.
Because she's inbred

Geeta is an Indian name
I have no idea why the localizers give the champion of a Spanish inspired region an Indian name
There are more characters in the game without Spanish names than there are. "Nemona" sure as hell isn't Spanish, even if she speaks the language.
Kanto is supposed be based on Japan and the Champion's name is a English word for a color

Wrong. Her name is a reference to VeGeeta who plays second fiddle to Goku (Nemona)
Pajeeta
I find hilarious how pageeta is so desexualized that the only way to draw her """acceptable""" is to make another character
The OP's pic is totally forgetting her slenderman proportions
You couldn't draw her both more feminine and more slender. She's either a woman or she's Rika.
there's a lot of women in pokemon that are slender and are femenine or frickeable, Elesa and Lusamine comes to mind
Geeta and Rika has the same design philosphy because even if people try to deny hard those two are characters created to be liked be women
Correct. They're literally the girlcrush character for straight women.
to be honest thats the case with the other female champions, it's just way more noticeable with geeta
>The OP's pic is totally forgetting her slenderman proportions
Yeah but look at her Finding Nemo arm.
iris
>no crazy messy pubes sticking out
Discarded
Real women are hairless from the eyelashes down.

Cynthia.
Next question.
Geeta sucks but at least she has a presence unlike Diantha
You know Geeta is hated when there are videos theorizing if her team can even help her become champion. Like, not even Diantha got that treatment, and she was made fun of for nearly a decade.
Those big old alien peepers ruined what could've been a "functional" Cynthia wannabe design.
I think her design is fine. It's just the official art that looks very unfortunate (and also the in-game model, but imo nearly everyone in that game looks bad as well)
>We could have gotten delicious brown cynthia
>Instead we got this
Depressing tbh
I don't give a frick about cynthia though
