The games aren't the focus. It's a piece of shit just like EVERY console storefront because it has barely any legitimate user functionality. You have to go through so many fricking menus and there's barely any ways to actually filter shit.
The 3DS store literally had better performance, it's insane how bad the Switch one is. It crashes at least once every time I browse it for more than 5 minutes or so.
How was navigating the game sales section on the 3DS/Wii U unlike the Switch?
And after you buy a game that's on sale on Switch eShop, you'd get brought back to the main menu and you gotta scroll down to the sales section from scratch. No separate pages just a single infinite scrolling page
I hope Nintendo learns to clean its cache or something in the future so the store doesn't explode after scrolling for more than 3 pages.
when you buy a game on the switch you can press B and it goes back to the game you just bought and then press B again to get to the scrolling section you were.
>want to grab one cheap game from PS3 store >it’s a barely functioning mess that takes ages to load anything and feels like it is going to crash or get stuck at any second
Yeah, it’s an old service that was already supposed to get closed down, but jesus frick.
The PS3 store used to be good before they redesigned it to run like the PS4 store. Even when the PS3 was still being supported it just went to utter shit the second that update released.
All of this is because these stores are just web pages.
The 3DS store was a native app.

nintendo points save it for me. It’s a bit clunky but so is the xbox game store, not too familiar with the Playstation ones. But yeah it seems only steam has a really tight and well performing store front. It can’t be that hard to load or that intensive on the hardware but for some reason consoles just shit the bed with their store fronts.
>3ds eshop
>dsi shop
I win now close your thread
The 3DS eShop at least had separate pages instead of a single infinite scrolling page that shits itself the more you scroll down.
Not sure about the DSi Shop as I never had a DSi
I dont remember the ds store asking for my password every single time I opened it.
>Oh no, it has games

Vita store
EPIC Game store

That's weird, in my experience, the 3ds and wii u eShops where slow as frick, and the Switch one is actually pretty decent

Usually dont buy more than one game at the time, so i haven't had this problem and on switch at least i can do more shit while is downloading

The Ubisoft online store
>still no cart system
They don't get enough shit for this.
Just add to the wishlist
>t. proud nintendo shill

>open eshop
>see this featured on the front page
I thought people said the switch had games
I kinda expected the Switch eShop from day 1 to have better quality control than previous eShops, but nope!
Makes me wonder if Nintendo ever approved this, that would make as much sense as approving Action 52 back in the NES days
The current ps3 store
Ubisoft
The PlayStation store because they store all your personal info in plaintext
cant really see this as an issue since there are no games to buy on the playstation store anyways
I bought a few games with gold points I got from buying other games so it's fine.
>no music
>themes since 2017 launch are still only just Black/White
Why is Nintendo so soulless now??
its so they can put those as "new features" for the switch 2
>Name a more dogshit digital store, I'll wait
It's pretty fricked, thank god Deku Deals exists.
the real shame is that they allow $60 games to not have game play trailers
the shovelware on this system is insane and the 1st party stuff while polished is bland as hell
sony's website is almost unusable
