There are easier to catch Wynaut elsewhere in the game. But Wynaut on Route 130 has a catch rate of 0.0004%.

I'm currently playing Platinum and after resetting for nearly 5 hours, I finally got an ID no. that makes it so that two of my Munchlax trees are in the Valley Windworks and Floaroma Meadow respectively. You can access these honey trees before you even battle Mars for the first time. Today marks the beginning of my search for Munchlax.
>Feebas >Hard to catch
You just find the right tile and you'll fish it half the time, what's so hard about that?
Gen 1 Chansey is harder.
Gen 7 Mareanie is harder.
Gen 8 Dreepy is harder.
Bro that's easy, try catching a Munchlax in DP.
Munchlax isn't hard to get at all. We just migrated our Snorlaxes from FRLG to DP via Pal Park and bred it.

Are you zoomers incapable if figuring anything out on your own? Jesus christ. >fish on a tile a few times >no Feebas? move onto the next one
WOW, SO HARD.
>Gen 8 Dreepy is harder.
Gen 8 Drampa is harder than Dreepy
Version exclusive, weather dependant 2% rate, no overworld encounter. Same as Turtonator in sword, but you can force that one out with flash fire

I get it, you guys are talking about the Safari Zone, but you can also capture Chansey in the Mewtwo Cave.
>tfw people have issues getting a Feebas >tfw I was like really cause in my Ruby run I caught one very easy and was able to have a Milotic on my team cause a friend told me you gotta feed it shit to make Feebas beautiful
It's still an annoying process and needs very specific prep >Need a swarm >Need a ghost type to avoid it dying to recoil dmg >Also want fixed dmg like night shade since ghost types don't get false swipe >Located in a sandstorm so you want leftovers to not die yourself >Need hypnosis to hit >all this for a 7.095% chance to catch with a dusk ball >It can still kill itself if it ends up struggling
It's not a fun pokemon to get in DPP.
My strat is to catch a poliwag on route 30 at night, train it to level 7 for hypnosis, then use it to put this fricker to sleep the next morning. They can’t flee while asleep so it buys you at least a few turns, which should be enough
Well, not so much catch, but it's a b***h to get Mt.Battle Ho-oh from Colosseum >Have to catch and purify all Shadow Pokemon >48 in total, quite a few of which are caught Post Game rather than during the main story >Then you have to go through Mt.Battle in the Battle Now mode >Essentially a big ass Battle Tower with 100 trainers, no restrictions on what Mon you can use but FRICK if it ain't long >After all that, at long last, you're granted a Level 70 Ho-oh >...that doesn't even know Sacred Fire
You're telling me I now have to get a Heart Scale on top of all that?
This brings back some PTSD. I did the entire 100lvls in game story mode of mt battle of my first playthrough on having to google it and go wtf. I'm sure there was still some completionist thing for doing but still
What's a fun challenge I can do in-game? I've already caught Feebas in RSE and got Lucky Egg Chansey in FRLG. Something I can theoretically do in one sitting so no Munchlax trees.
Wait that is still up and chinese people play this? Pre gen 7 the only chinese pokemon games were fc bootlegs.

Is it compatible with all language or do I have to play in the devil's tongue?
(Also can I just carry save data over)

I should have just written to find. As that'd have disqualified munchlax.

It's an MMO, so you have to start fresh. Saves in the cloud, you can play from your android/ios/win/mac/linux, whatever you feel like at the moment.
A load of languages, all strings are exportable too if you want to add a translation for something esoteric.
Finding Feebas in RSE isn't even hard it takes like an hour or two if you're unlucky. It's not even bad in DPPt where the water source is much larger. Honey Tree Munchlax is the hardest Pokemon to catch because it's the hardest to find.
Replayed gen 3 recently, and got really fricking annoyed at how many good (and even a bunch of shit) pokemon were locked to 1-4% encounter rates on one road. Or stuff like Corphish, where you need to backtrack to a few specific early routes/towns to fish with a good/super rod. Shit like this really pisses me off through the game, because it really hurts any intended biodiversity when there's all these cool pokemon, but 95%+ of wild grass encounter will be Zigzagoon, Poochyena/Mightyena, or Tailow/Swellow. Or when so much of the map is covered in water for surf, but all you'll find it Tentacool or Wingull/Peliper.

Munchlax in D/P is pretty hard too.
But Feebas is more fun, and I actually found it as a kid, so I like it more.

Even then HGSS had snorlax encounters. Did nobody use the GTS back then?
How the frick does someone go about finding the right tile?

Gen 8 Drampa is harder than Dreepy
Version exclusive, weather dependant 2% rate, no overworld encounter. Same as Turtonator in sword, but you can force that one out with flash fire
Why would anyone bother catching Drampa in Gen 8?
It's a grandpa and a dragon. What more could you want?
>Gen 7 Mareanie is harder
Just use an adrenaline orb and stall the Corsola until it spawns, it's not that hard
>Gen 8 Dreepy is harder.
But who cared about Dreepy when Drakloak was very easy?
>Drakloak was very easy
Drakloak is just like Dreepy though, it has 1% spawn rate and only during overcast weather.
>Munchlax isn't hard to get at all.
OP specifically said "catch".
Curious, what is Struggle called in the game?
Verzweifeler (desperation/despair)
Gen 7 Mareanie, maybe.
Name a Würst Pokémon to Katsch
chansey
Is chansey availability limited to only on 6 tiles in any game?
Once you know the feebas tiles its as easy to catch as anything else.
Wasn't that only possible in gen 4?
> Chansey
I get it, you guys are talking about the Safari Zone, but you can also capture Chansey in the Mewtwo Cave.
And there's a lot easier.
>Mewtwo Cave.
What's the point? People want to use it in their playthrough, not when the game is completely finished.
So is feebas in every game that reintroduced it
Maybe that's why OP specifically posted the RSE games where no Chansey situation happens with Feebas...? Idiot.

Miraidon in a Beast Ball
Beldum in dp was VERY annoying ro catch
Just put it in a sleep or bring a ghost type knowing hypnosys.
It's still an annoying process and needs very specific prep
>Need a swarm

I remember getting ready to spend all day hunting for it on Emerald and catching it on the seventh tile I checked. I have never caught one since.

Ho-oh learns Sacred Fire at level 77
This brings back some PTSD. I did the entire 100lvls in game story mode of mt battle of my first playthrough on having to google it and go wtf. I'm sure there was still some completionist thing for doing but still
At least shit netted you a free time flute and a johto starter with the elemental hyperbeam moves.
I don't recall it being that hard to do. Just get some level 100 legendaries like Groudon, Kyogre, Latias, Latios, or Rayquaza and you're good.
Anything with a 1% encounter rate.

anything from gen 5
Is hating on unova still à la mode?
Munchlax is the most moronic Pokemon to catch of any Pokemon in any game. I don’t know what the frick they were thinking.
Only morons tried catching Munchlax instead of breeding Snorlax in DPP
Consider me moronic then. I found a legit Munchlax in Platinum yesterday after only 7 honey tree slathers. Blow me.
Who is /cum/ing to /vp/ this hour of the afternoon?
U.
Literally one of the highest catch rates, it's not hard to catch.
Still a b***h and a half to find
It's kinda funny in PokeMMO, when you are biking near the river and see the tiles surrounded by a frickload of Chinese players fishing for Feebas.
Wait that is still up and chinese people play this? Pre gen 7 the only chinese pokemon games were fc bootlegs.

Because some of us have autism and care about actually finding it that way
